I don't show a lot of emotion when I open my presents at Christmas. I hate surprises, so I usually get all sad and downcast when I get to the gifts. My natural hatred of surprises (plus me usually being able to guess what the gifts are going to be), means that I don't show excitement or overly positive emotions when I open the gifts. But a good rule of thumb: if i'm calm opening the gifts, that's about as happy as you're getting me. If I start to feel disappointed and then act all moody, that's when you have to be concerned. That's why I hate company at Christmas. Nobody but my dad seems to understand and respect my emotions. My grandfather and his girlfriend try, but I still always feel nervous sharing too much of my negative impulses around them.
