😍I’ve developed a healthy obsession with whole green Moong beans. So, I decided to swirl them into whole moong chilla, a protein-packed version of the North Indian pancakes. It requires little skill set and make for a very healthy and punchy breakfast/brunch. . . 😋Ingredients: * 1/4 cup split whole green beans(chike waali tuti moong dal), not sabut * 1/4 cup coriander - chopped very finely * 1 green chilli - chopped very finely * 1/2 tsp salt * 1 tsp chopped ginger * 1 tbsp chopped garlic . . 🤩Method: 1. Soak dal for 2 hours. Strain. Add coriander, green chillies, salt, ginger, garlic, Grind till smooth, Add about 1/4 cup water & grind again to get a smooth batter of a thick pouring consistency. Keep aside. 2. To prepare the chillahs, heat a non-stick tawa or a pan (not too hot). Grease with oil and wipe off the oil with a piece of onion or a tissue. 3. Spread 1 small karchhi (1 serving spoon) batter to make a chillah of about 4' diameter, Make 4 chillahs out of this batter. 4. Cook on medium-high heat first till the edges get done and stop sticking to the pan when lifted. turn over and now cook on low heat till the other side is done.
