(Leu’mina) Motza’s Family
He’s one of the middle children. He has two older siblings, a younger brother, a younger sister, and a baby brother on the way.
I like to headcanon that yautja that live in the cities still have pretty unique living situations due to their aging. It is not uncommon to see a large home complex (like an apartment building) be completely filled by one or two extended families (clans).
His eldest sister is a scarily serious, honor bound, no-nonsense warrior currently working towards being an elite guard. She doesn’t talk much and is openly pointed about her disappointment towards Motza’s lack of direction. However, after he returned from his sixteen year absence -thanks to Ophelia- she dropped to her knees and sobbed with relief upon seeing him. She had been particularly harsh on him shortly before his disappearance and assumed her words had either drove him away or to a secluded suicide. Her name is Kuel’la.
His other elder sibling is a brother who works in a shipyard maintaining the personal crafts of elites or enforcer ships. He’s far more laid back that Kuel’la but still fights viciously against her opinions of Motza. He also went through a wandering period like Motza is and encourages him to try everything. Motza’s disappearance hit him hard. He actually refused to talk to Kuel’la until Motza’s return. Both siblings were quick to apologize. His name is Lu’din.
Motza’s younger sister and brother are Kanneli and Le’er, respectively. The baby does not yet have a name.
His parents are mated and have not taken any mates besides each other. They are stern, firm, and very “right-brained” so to speak. They are very similar and tend to finish each other’s sentences with ease. Motza’s grandparents like to joke that they are a soul that was split that managed to find its halves. It’s a little eerie how in sync they are.
They both work extraterrestrial biology studies, which is a fancy way to say they dissect a lot of dead aliens…
He gets along with both of them just fine but knows it’s only a matter of time. Because Lu’din turned out so successful after taking time to wander and experiment they are allowing Motza to do the same with little restriction. But Motza has been at this longer than Lu’din and it’s begun to put a lot of pressure on him.
