so: alex, whose design didn’t change that much but igave her more pieces of her outfits, with the intention of changing some stuff up (and removing some details, like the leaf pin is a reference to Lord of the Rings and just a stand-in for the pin in the final design which I hadn’t decided on). but i was trying to get a kind of vibe going with alex.

I spent so long looking up medieval headdresses for the princess, queen, and maid characters. I needed something that would somewhat give the illusion of ears even if it wasnt quite ears. Miya (the mouse princess) was in my last post in her kind of “casual outfit”.

SO. Earlier I was talking to my mom in the kitchen when she was cooking dinner and I was holding Cookie and Dutchie, and she walked into the laundry room to let the dog in and when she came back, she ACTUALLY PETTED DUTCHIE. Like, this is a big deal. In all the years I've had rodents, the only other one she's ever touched was my hamster, Humphrey, and that was an emergency(I had the flu and I had to run to the bathroom but I was holding him). I think she's finally warming up to them. It's taken 13 years, but it's progress. And she called the new babies cute. And she said that she likes Nubbins best. It's the tails that she doesn't like, so I think Nubbins not having one is why he's her favorite.

Lunetta's litter is fuzzy now! And just as predicted, there's a broken yellow, 5 broken chocolates, two broken blacks, a solid dove, a broken dove, and what appears to be a BEW.
