It’d be the most on-brand Mummy franchise casting if Mummy 4 really did have Cillian Murphy as an Aztec mummy. There were three Egyptian mummies in the first two movies and they were played by an Afrikaner actor, a Puerto Rican actress, and a Samoan actor. Literally the only mummy who was accurate was Jet Li.
This isn’t even going into the fact that Evelyn and Jonathan are supposed to be half-Egyptian.

Gonna rant a bit here. I'm so pissed at the people getting mad at the idea of Hunter Schafer being cased for Zelda. SHE LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE HER! She is the most PERFECT casting EVER. And don't even come whine about how ooh that's a man not a woman. Firstly, fuck off, it's her decision, stop crying to control her body. Do you want to be forced to become a different gender? No? Then dont do it to her. Secondly, why does it even matter if she's a bio male?
