Was it casual when you offered to perform experimental surgery on me to help me out after only knowing me for a few days, and I let you?

Two thoughts we can hold at once:
Murderbot is a character whose gender and race does not conform to human constructs and to cast a cis white man in the role is a bit reductive and holds up a mirror to Hollywood as a place that upholds white male supremacy
AND
Nonbinary/agender people can look like anyone and anything they like, and saying Skarsgard doesn't 'look' nonbinary is stupid
If you pair murderbot with ryland grace or simon ironlung then you've just recreated Signalis. That's just nonbinary Elster with Ariane Yeong on testerone hrt.
...
That being said I would love to stick all of them (plus rocky) into a submarine together in the game Barotrauma. I think they would make a great crew navigating Europa.
...
Oh shit Falke/Eva Stratt/Ava fusion character could be good? Ultimate girl boss final form.
Thinking about the 6 seconds of silence after SecUnit proposed to duplicate itself on ART's digital space.
Not that I think fandom is ready for this conversation, but 'headcanoning' a bold stripe non-partnering aro/ace (whether implied, confirmed, or otherwise) as gray-aro/ace or favorable is the exact same as 'headcanoning' a gay character as bi.
Edit: This post was worded very badly so before interacting with it, please read the reblogs
The murderbot books plus some others by that author are on humble bundle for US$18
I can't remember how to find the post, but someone wrote something about how many extra layers the show is painting for Murderbot and Mensah (the point in particular I think was her hooking it up to the hopper) and I am living for how truly feral is setting these two up to be for each other. And in an entirely platonic way as we know (from the books anyway) how ace Murderbot pointedly is. That shot at the end of Mensah crying while looking out the window and Murderbot thinking about all it needs to do for itself even though it means leaving its 'favorite human' YESSS!! Sooooo here for that.
