DDG DROPS “TOP OF THE HILL” VIDEO SINGLE

With his nearly sold-out headlining tour underway in support of his album, blame the chat, multi-platinum recording artist and streamer DDG delivers new hard-hitting single “Top of the Hill,” out now via EPIC Records.

“Top of the Hill” is a flex-heavy banger that gives DDG space to step fully into his star power. The chantable hook, “I made it out of the city, I’m lucky for real, I’m at the top of the hill,” anchors that energy with a larger than life statement. The Frames: Fitzcarraldo (live)

Dating myself here, but Fitzcarraldo is one of my favourite all time albums. This is a fairly recent live recording (2012) and it’s comparatively ‘low energy’ (snerk) compared to the positively frenetic performances I went to in the 1990s, when they gigged regularly in Whelans.  Ah yes, the good old days (looks around for Zimmerframe)
