I love how the Muppets are such a chaotic group and Kermit is like the only calm and reasonable one there

One could argue that he's used to the chaos, given he canonically has thousands of brothers and sisters and was born into a massive family

I wonder if he felt a little homesick when he left the swamp, and I wonder if upon meeting the other Muppets, it reminded him of home

What if Kermit finds comfort in such a chaotic group of people, even when they stress him out

In the Muppet Movie, when that guy told him there was an audition for frogs in the paper, Kermit initially tells him, "No thanks, I'm quite happy where I am," which would be in the swamp with said roughly 4,000 siblings (according to one interview.) A lot of people with large families like that would take the opportunity to get away from them, if not just to get a little bit of space and explore themselves as an individual.

Kermit does end up doing that but he finds himself right back into chaos and picks up more oddballs here and there who only feed the chaos and befriends them, probably because that's the scene and the type of people he's used to.

From one large family of thousands right into a new found family that makes him stay up to date on his rabies and tetanus shots and keep money stashed aside in case he needs to bail them out of jail

As I mentioned I'm sick so I will partake in the beautiful sick tradition of making some headcanons!

Electric Mayhem sick headcanons hoorahyhhhh

Prob not the most accurate bc its been a long while but we ball

- right off the bat, if anyone he knows gets sick, Lips will start preparing the funeral. Even the slightest sniffle, and he will be sizing you up for a coffin.

- if Lips is sick, he's treating himself the same way. It is the end of the world to him. Sickly victorian child. Even if its the most mild cold he is bedridden. Kind of pathetic </3

- Janice will do anything but go to a doctor. She's all for those 'natural' remedies. They never work. She is often the sickest for the longest.

- she will try to get the others to try these remedies, but nobody ever partakes. She still cares though. Lots of aura clensing in an attempt to help dispel the sickness from a spiritual level.

- If Teeth ever gets sick, he's immediately quarantining himself and caring for himself properly. That is if he ever gets sick. Which is rarely. He's sick for the shortest amount of time. He might be a licensed dentist, but he still knows a good few things about general medicine.

- that plays into if any of the band gets sick he's the one giving them medical advice. Although from the way he handles it, you'd think its a deadly infectious disease and not just a cold.

- It's hard to tell healthy Zoot from sick Zoot. He'll keep doing whatever he does, even if its probably not the best idea... if he's sick, he will be getting everyone else sick.

- although the same applies if someone else in the band is sick. He won't really treat them any differently, which again, leads to him being the next infected very frequently.

- Floyd, upon getting sick, goes into immediate work mode. He will try to ignore it and soldier through it to the best of his abilities. He won't go down to some silly sickness. Not without a fight, at least.

- anyone else gets sick, though? He's in caretaker mode. Warm soup, medicine, blankets, a soothing melody. Sickness might suck but Floyd makes it a little more tolerable..

- Animal, when he's sick, gets very lethargic. Loses most of his energy. But not his stubbornness. He will try to refuse treatment because 'yucky', but he's not really in a position to refuse treatment

- although anyone else is sick? Animal is the first to know most of the time. He can smell it coming. He's not great at helping but will try his best. And by his best most of the time he is an active detriment.

Some Small Random Multifandom Headcanons!

Warner Bros.

• The Looney Tunes still keep contact with Michael Jordan/LeBron James after the events of both Space Jam movies as they have both of their phone numbers

• Marvin and Lola are straight up besties as one of their hobbies are gossiping about Bugs

• The Warner siblings are into crafting, they often like customize their inside of their water tower for hours straight

Hanna-Barbera

• T.C and Benny often go out in their alley at night without the rest of the gang for private music playing

• Cindy's favorite tea is white tea with honey

• Huckleberry and Snagglepuss are literally together (FIGHT ME!!!)

The Muppets

• Summer (As an adult) is besties with both Fozzie and Gonzo as they like to share interests with each other

• Rizzo and Pepe have been together at some point before the events of Muppets Tonight

• Piggy had learned martial arts when she a young pig through magazines and films featuring it

I think the band over the years has been so all over the place, partying and doing who knows what substances all the while, that Teeth, Floyd, Janice, Zoot and, to a lesser extent shockingly, Animal tend to misremember what Lips was or wasn't around for during his years back and forth between doing his own thing and joining the band

When they do misremember something, it's usually that they assume Lips was around for something when he wasn't actually there, but it really warms Lips' heart that amongst everything else they've always considered him as that much of a piece of their little family that they just go with the idea that he MUST'VE been present, so he tends not to correct them on it when it happens

The Electric Mayhem Tickle Headcanons

Animal

• Canonically ticklish (it's revealed in a scene in Muppets Mayhem and in Muppet Moments)

• Is insanely ticklish and will laugh hysterically and uncontrollably when tickled

• Worst spots are his underarms, belly, and feet

• Floyd used to tickle him a lot when he was a baby

• His bunnies like to tickle attack him too

• Out of all the members, he gets tickled by Floyd and Janice the most

• He sometimes might hit the ler but he apologizes afterwards

• He's extremely relentless and merciless ler

• Loves to tackle the other band members to tickle them furiously

• Besides the other band members, he also mostly goes after Kermit and Gonzo

• Would soon apologize after all the tickling that went far

Dr. Teeth

• He's probably the least ticklish member of the band but is ticklish enough to squirm

• Worst spots are his under his chin and sides

• The other members don't tickle him as much but he does like to laugh once on a while

• His parents used to tickle him a lot when he was younger but not so much anymore

• Chuckles while being tickled

• Enjoys tickles the other band members from time to time (mostly Floyd and Lips)

• Besides the other band members, he enjoys going after Rowlf

• He will pat the lee's head for aftercare after he's done tickling

Janice

• She's moderately ticklish and she loves to tickle in general

• Worst spots are her underarms, sides, and hips

• She has a beautiful laugh so the others (mostly Floyd) would tickle her just to hear it

• The band is the most merciful to her during tickling

• She's the most resentful and merciful out of the band

• Enjoys tickling Floyd just to hear his laughter

• Loves tickling because it means bonding with your band mates

• Loves to watch tickle fights, she finds them very enduring

• Always wins one-sided tickle fights with Floyd

Floyd

• He's also moderately ticklish but a bit more ticklish than Janice is

• Worst spots are his neck, sides, and ribs

• Wheezes then getting tickled too much

• Janice is the one who gets him as she absolutely loves to tickle him mercilessly

• Animal tickles him by tackling him to the ground almost all the time

• He used to tickle Animal a lot when he was a baby since he first adopted him

• He sometimes tickles Janice but not as much since she likes to retaliate on him

• Sometimes, his beard and mustache nuzzles might tickle someone whenever they're hugging him to close

Zoot

• Slightly ticklish and is a bit afraid to admit it

• Worst spots are his sides, ribs, and torso

• Squeals and giggles everytime when someone tries to touch him

• Is easy to pin him down and wreck him mercilessly

• Recieves wake-up tickles whenever he falls asleep

• Rarely tickles other Muppets and band mates

• Raspberries will make him jolt

• Also slightly ticklish on his chest

• Only tickles when someone is feeling down

Lips

• Second most ticklish of the band (Animal is the most ticklish)

• Worst spots are his sides, belly, and feet

• Gets ganged up by the entire band due to how ticklish he is

• Literally cries tears of laughter when being tickled

• Has helpless and hysterical laughter and will wheeze to the point he wants it to stop

• Tries to catch his breath after the tickling is all done

• He tickles Zoot the most out of all the band members

• He will get mighty revenge on those who tried to tickle him

• For aftercare, he will rub the lee's forehead and wipes beads of sweat off their foreheads
