Some Scooter headcanons
Scooter is a hybrid of a Whatnot Muppet and a parrot Muppet, but his father left town shortly after he was born. His mother only speaks in squalks.
His uncle was the product of an affair between a Whatnot mother and a Human. His younger brother (Scooter's father) is a full-blooded Whatnot. The only thing J.P. Grosse inherited was the theater, and while he is now a successful man in his own right, he is very protective of it.
In fact, the only thing he is more protective of is Scooter! While he may not like all of the shenanigans that happen in the theater, he secretly really appreciates how much the members of the Muppet show have done for Scooter. (He's still plenty happy to throw his weight around to make sure Scooter stays happy though)
The members of the Electric Mayhem have adopted Scooter somewhat. They try and encourage him to think for himself, be open about who he is, and to pursue his dreams of stardom. Animal thinks of him as a brother and loves to roughhouse with him (read playfully attack him, rather to Scooter's chagrin at that).
The EM members sometimes try to give him music lessons, but he has yet to find an instrument that fits his style.
Scooter is gay, but has never been in a relationship with anyone yet.
