shitty MS Paint 3 minutes doodle, nto entirely accurate: When you have your pinky hooked on the “bottom” edge of the phone for the extra security so it doesn’t slide out of your hand that easily, you’re wreaking damage on your hand, since the pinky is extremely askew from it’s resting position. You might have noticed that when you hold your phone like that for long time it begins to hurt, like when you are gripping a pen too tightly for example.

Green lines - the fingers are going their natural way. Red line - the pinky is way off, that’s bad.

Reminder that large phones are never better for hand health (I get they're sometimes necessary for eye health) and that none of these were designed for smaller handed people (because cis men made them for themselves!), which includes a whole bunch of folks, but especially kids, who are getting wrist issues super early because of this.

hey. do you ever think about dan being the first one to say gabe’s name, despite diana centering so much of herself around him? because for diana, it was never just about gabe himself; he was the son she lost, the life she could have had, the mental illness that governed her life, the child she could imagine but not have to care for. he was a symbol for all of that. but for dan, gabe was gabe: his son, not a symbol. he cared about diana, about natalie, about gabe, about his family. so he said gabe’s name because he still recognizes gabe’s identity, even when - to diana - he’s spiraled so far beyond.
