Sick sick sick

Just can't get rid of "sickness" in my home. Myiah is doing much better but for the last 3 days I've been tired, throwing up, and just feeling plain sucky.. :( I'm hoping this means I'm having a boy bc I didn't get sick at all with Myiah. We will see I guess!

Stressful time!

Going through this with Myiah is very stressful. Her skin is very raw from the bandaids and diarrhea. I feel so bad for her. Today I decided to stop using the bandaids which is less painful for her but more stressful for me. I'm very worried that she is going to tear her skin out or something if she accidentally pulls on the plastic ring thing they put in. Thankfully Myiah gets it taken out Thursday morning! After its taken out it's then a long search for an immunodeficiency. Finding a specialists that can get her in before July is stressful on its own of course. Pray for Myiah!

Home sweet home

We are home and its great to be home. I got a nap and so did she! now we are sitting on our comfortable couch watching netflix. No more Frozen over and over again… Ha! She is in a much better mood now that we are home. Only thing that makes her upset is when I have to change her dressing on the spot. :( The surgeon said that we didn't have to dress it but Myiah messes with it if it is out in the open. My worry is she will pull so hard it will break through her skin. She is on her way to recovery though! So happy and proud of how well she has been doing with all of this. Such a strong baby girl! :)

Hospital time

We are now in the hospital! She will be having surgery tonight and then kept over night. Pray for Myiah

Another Myiah update

Well her abscess started to drain a little on its own about two days ago. She seems to be able to walk and do things now so some pressure must of been relieved with the draining. Today we see a pediatric surgeon at 3 for a consult because her normal doctor wants a real professional to lance it and drain it. Last December we went to the er for it to be lanced and they did a HORRIBLE job. They cut to deep and didn't listen to her normal doctors orders. Her doctor wanted her asleep for it because he knows that miss Myiah don't sit still when doctors touch her. Hopefully the surgeon does a way better job than the er did. Prayers for Myiah!
