#marchmatness2017 and here we are at the end of this #marchmatness #onepilatesexerciseaday #pilateseveryday. And to finish with because we haven't worked enough throughout the workout, the last exercise is the #pushup. You will start and finish standing up. Roll down taking your time to feel each vertebra and then in 3 steps you go into a plank position; then you do three push ups, hips up, walk back to your ankles, then roll back again. And if that is not enough, we'll repeat it three times. Yup, we finish a challenge workout with a challenge exercise. The pushup is not an arm exercise. Ok, let me refrase that, it's not only an arm exercise. Actually is your powerhouse that will mantain that lift so your arms don't have to hold the whole weight of your body going down and up as you bend the elbows! And guess what, your upper back should be working more than your arms. As you try to lower the whole body in a straight line to the floor, get those upper back muscles engaged to prevent your chest to take over!!! Your shoulders will thank you ♥. So that's all folks for this marchmatness madness! Enjoy the ride!!
