Leshy is a forest spirit/demon from Slavic mythology and easily one of my favourite myths. I had so much fun drawing this giant bear-elk and his forest. I could just draw forest spirits all day long.

This batch has some of my favorite works so far. Specially the Leshy and the stupid amount of details that I decided to put on him.
And Tlazolteotl has fat folds and pubic hair because she is a goddess after all. And goddesses deserves such perfect features.
Probably the Mandragora will become a sticker in a not so distant future. I named him Raul.
That’s all for now. I am not having my best days and my drawing schedule is all messed up as usual because of that. But I will return

More Mythic May stuff.
Uchchaihshravas is a seven-headed, pure-white horse from Hindu mythology. It was born from the churning of the milk ocean and is considered the prototype and best (king) of all horses. I get a headache from multi-headed beasts but I'm always happy for any chance to draw horses.
Fenrir is a giant wolf from the Norse mythology, child of Loki and Angboda who was bound with a special rope but who is destined to escape upon Ragnarök.
Llamhiygm Y Dwr, "the water leaper", is a Welsh creature described as a huge toad with limbs for arms and a tail and it preys on fishermen. Maybe larger arms would help it leap and glide onto boats, but at least fishermen's stories would exaggerate them as wings.
Selkie are shapeshifters who turn into seals by going into water donning a seal skin. My idea was to create a seal creature that could be mistaken for a humanoid or that looked mysterious enough to arouse such myths.
Wihwin is basically a Central American version of kelpie. A mostly horse-shaped creature with huge fangs who dwells in the sea but hunts humans on land during hot and dry seasons. Super fun to design and draw!
