Times when DMD Friendship didn't feel so "friendship" like [A list of sorts]

Disclaimer: This was in my drafts and written way before JimmyOhm decided to end their partnership (I am still grieving)-- much love to the both of them, and I respect their decision since it was mutual. Since this was made before the announcement, I do gush about how much I love them together during DMD Friendship. While this is still true, it is in no means coming from a place of disrespect of their decision.

Guess who couldn't let it go and is back with another post about DMD Friendship, the chokehold this show has on me needs to be studied. Did I use this as an excuse to rewatch all of the seasons? Yeah, sure did. Sorry in advance for how long this is about to be, I can feel it in my bones that I'll start rambling.

Obviously, spoilers if you haven't watched DMD Friendship the Reality, DMD Friendship the Reality: It Takes Two, and DMD Friendship the Reality: The Third Chapter (Although unbiasedly, you should go watch!!)

Season 1 ~ DMD Friendship the Reality

Keng and Thomas receiving their letters and literally blushing.

HM: Keng’s reaction to Namping teasing and giggling with Thomas that same night.

The whole house thinking Keng was going to choose Namping for his date (us too!!) and then he didn't + Namping's reaction to it (The birth of the instant noodles incident LMAOO)

Thomas and Kong not even hesitating to pick one another and their whole date + the birth of the choo-choo train

Namping confronting Keng about his decision (OOOH THE TENSION)

Kong being the first one to greet TeeTee, Firstone, Keng, and Thomas from their date on the ship. (His reaction when Thomas got picked, he is not subtle at all.)

Tle's eyes locked on Firstone when he literally just got there... their whole date. (The flirty compliments have me dead)

Keng finally choosing Namping for a date (absolute cinema), Keng flirting, the soft voices, the playfulness, the gentle reminders from Namping for Keng to take his medicine. THEY'RE SO CUTE, SOMEONE SEDATE ME.

"I'm glad Kong is the first runner-up. If he had won, he would've had to choose another partner, I don't want that." AHHHHHHHHHHHHH. OKAY THOMAS.

Kong and Thomas's acting mission (The judges were melting, and so was I)

THE ICONIC THOMAS AND KONG DATE. "I'm jealous of mosquitos because they got to bite you" like omg he's so down bad. And the behind the scenes moment where Kong is 100% sure that Thomas is going to pick him. Then playing dang footsies in bed, like do they know this is a "friendship" show?

Namping and Keng's outside date, the vibes were immaculate.

Small detail: Thomas and Kong exchanging looks when given 2 hours to talk, because they already knew they were locked in.

THOMAS'S JEALOUSY WHEN TEETEE ASKED TO TALK TO KONG ON THE ROOF, EVEN GOING TO TEETEE TO SAY HE WAS GOING TO PICK KONG AFTERWARDS. (TeeTee was cracking me up, "Why are you telling me, and not him? HAHAHA)

Thomas and Kong by the water, Thomas having Kong's picture in his wallet, giving it back, saying "I don't need it now, because I know you're always with me." Yeah. I'm just going to leave it at that, it's so self-explanatory.

Keng and Namping, "Can we get this over with" and Keng's confessional saying he's 100% sure... oh okay. Then Namping saying he is 100% sure, they're locked innnnnnn.

Latte, Firstone, and Tle's whole last talk literally felt like a scene from His Man.... convince me otherwise. THE BLUEPRINT OF A LOVE TRIANGLEEEE OF THE DMD FRIENDSHIP SERIES

The final pairings, literally following a red string, yeah that is so "friendship" like... DMD you're fooling absolutely no one.

Keng and Namping literally blushing and giggling the whole time they talked, ahhhh.

Thomas and Kong being assured they were going to pick each other, they're so cute.

The bears with the handwritten letters???? (I forgot about the letters, they stopped doing that & the red string in the second season) UGH PULLED MY HEARTSTRINGS. But also very dating show coded, because did they need to do that for a "friendship" show? No.

The chemistry of KengNamping & ThomasKong during the final performance HELL YEAH!!! And the way they both won, so deserved.

Justice for Gems, you will find your partner soon!!!!!!!! Just like how Latte and Teetee found their partners in the next season, your right person is out there.

Season 2 ~ DMD Friendship the Reality: It Takes Two

Save declaring he was going to use this show to get closer to AuAu, we love when a man knows what he wants and isn't afraid to say it!!!

Save getting sad when AuAu didn't pick him + being lowkey jealous when JJ was feeling AuAu.

Save being over the moon that AuAu was coaching him on singing

THE ENTRANCE OF JIMMY, LATTE, NET, AND TEETEE... It's giving Love Island Bombshells LMAOOO.

Net immediately going to JJ and dragging him, Por sitting down next to TeeTee and cutely smiling, Ohm sitting next to Jimmy... I know what you are.

Kim: "Many might already know that Latte and I are quite close" and him lowkey being salty that Latte kept it a secret from him.

JJ knowing about Net's schedule, "He stated in his schedule that he'd be working on a project, and it turned out to be this one" That is not casual. Kim 🤝 JJ: knowing their men's schedule.

JJ saying that it's time to be serious about picking his partner MHMMM

Ohm saying this is a way of "testing their connection" okay Love Island.

Jimmy saying he's fine with Ohm choosing whoever he wants as a partner, but he'll be happy if it's him. Soooo cute!!

"You can choose the seniors as well" Net: "I have a chance now" and everyone laughing at him, meanwhile he's being dead serious...

Save being so bashfully happy that AuAu picked him for "friendship" time

AuAu picking tufting, because he saw Save scrolling through on his phone, and knew he wanted to do it. (RAISING STANDARDS)

Save and AuAu swapping each other's work is basically equivalent to sharing clothes (Idc, I don't make the rules) & the way they were smiling and staring???? Yeah, totally "friendship" like

JJ knowing Net was stressed, so he brought him splash painting, how precious!!!

JJ showing off all the things he does with Net-- eat ice cream, sing, watch movies-- like okay, we get it sir.... (I want what they have)

Ryujin's entrance, Patji revealing that he knows him because he's a friend of a friend & he read his fortune before (more about this next season, but I just want to say I knew from this moment)

The whole card game... idc, no specifications, just the whole game and some of their answers didn't feel like a friendship show AT ALL.

OHM & JIMMY, NET & JJ, KIM & LATTE, POR & TEETEE... ALL OF THE CHEMISTRY DURING THE ACTING CHALLENGE.

When they were discussing the team fashion show and Jimmy jokingly said for Latte to take of his shirt, Kim instantly refused. Jimmy: "What? Are you possessive of him" YES HE SURE IS, CALL IT OUTTT.

Patji giving his chopsticks to Save, and looking at/ teasing AuAu, knowing he was jealous.

Por and TeeTee talking about having matching necklaces, the flirting, their shyness, holding hands... first date things.

Jimmy and Ohm serving each other food, and their banter >>

Net and JJ being so comfy around each other to goof around ughhh

Jimmy getting jealous because Por and Ohm filmed the same thing as them, him trying to find something else so this date sticks out.

Ohm: What are you looking at? Jimmy: "A special one" AND THEN GETTING SHY, AND THEM BOTH GIGGLING TOGETHER, HELLO????

Net cleaning JJ's face, JJ feeding Net (kinda), them messing around with each other, playing footsies under the table. THE SPARKS.

Net: "It's so that we're physically bonded" SO NOT FRIENDSHIP LIKE.

JIMMY WINKING AT OHM????????!!! THEN THEM CUDDLING.

Net and JJ showing how they know so much about each other, like who know the DAY the other is born? And their blood type? Net shuffling closer to JJ.

This shouldn't be a part of this post because this is about moments that DOESN'T feel like a friendship show, but I can't help but say how I love these two friendship moments: 1. When Jimmy gave up his friendship date to Save, and Save gave it to Latte because he didn't experience it. 2. Por and Au's talk near the fountain, it was so heartfelt and raw. I love them so much. They've been through so much, and have such a deep friendship.

Okay back to the not friendship moments:

Save waiting for AuAu because he could tell that he wasn't okay, AuAu patting his head, Au admitting he would look at Save through the monitor, Save holding Au's hand while Au is looking shy.

Latte being so soft and giggling whenever he talks to Kim, all smiles and shy looks (Is this the same man from season 1? Yeah, he's a goner.)

The bathroom scene HELLO??? How did they manage to make brushing their teeth a cute rom com moment? And when Latte said for them to share the tub (Kim laughed, but Latte was being dead serious)

Kim: "Why did I become your first choice?" Latte: "I planned to choose you since the beginning. Like, my only choice has always been you." DON'T SAVE HIM, HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE SAVED. THEM FIGHTING AND TEASING EACH OTHER UNDER THE COVERS...

Save not being happy when Ryujin picked AuAu for tea time, he can't hide his expression at all.

Au's expression changing the second Ryujin asked what's between him and Save, and asking him if he was interested in Au or Save.

AuAu asking Ryujin about his thoughts about Patji, and the way he smiled.. I know he knowssss!!!

JJ and Net's heart to heart conversation really both broke and healed my heart, you can tell them care so deeply for each other. It's so much more than a surface-level care. (Also frick at the haters, Net will ALWAYS pick JJ over you losers)

The tension between Au and Save when talking about who to choose for their final partners was unfathomable. Au: "Will it break your heart if I didn't choose you?" OH MY GOSH. THE MISCOMMUNICATION.

Jimmy saying he's here to know more about Ohm, yes straight-forward king!! Their heart to heart while holding each other hands like a lifeline.

Latte knowing Kim and his tendency to overthink, a man who listens and remembers details >>

The way you can see Latte's heart break when Kim asked him what if they didn't end up partners. What is with men and their word choice?? 😭

Por and TeeTee's soft voices towards each other

The whole set-up and reveal of who chose who, so dating show coded!!! And I love how they added the polaroids this season.

Net and JJ talking about them meeting their family.

Kim and Latte going straight into a hug, Latte getting a flower and tucking Kim's hair back with it. Latte: "I'll buy you roses later"

Ohm and Jimmy being so shy, Jimmy: "It got some vibes as a wedding ceremony" Ohm: A wedding ceremony? Easy there." LMAOO (Am I invited??? I want to be there)

Por and TeeTee barely holding in their giggles when they realized they picked each other. T: "You chose me?" P: "And you chose me" AHHHHHH

THE TENSION WHEN AU WALKED IN AND SAVE WASN'T THERE OMG... LITERALLY DATING SHOW CINEMA.

Au literally cheesing and fake scolding Save when he finally walked in (my Tom & Jerry couple)

AuAu: "I got a little heartbroken" Save: "Why, you were sad to not have me by your side?" AND AU SHYLY ADMITTING HE WAS.

Save already being possessive of Au showing skin already...

PATJI PICKING UP RYUJIN'S NAME AND THEN PUTTING IT DOWN, AND THEN SAYING: "I decided to pick myself since I feel like nobody wants to partner up with me." AHHHHHHHH (just you wait)

Net and JJ locking eyes and smiling at each other, THE WAY NET GRABBED THE BACK OF JJ'S NECK??? INSANITY.

TeeTee and Por being giddy, whispering in each other's ear, Por carrying Tee, the homage to the robot act, getting closer and getting shy, the end where TeeTee held on to Por's back and Por got shy?? Their chemistry was unfathomable.

Latte and Kim, the way they held on to each other on the bike, them locking eyes, Latte taking Kim's hands to put around him, and Kim putting his chin on him.

Kim: "So this is what it's like working with someone you had in mind" WE LOVE A STRAIGHTFORWARD KINGGGG. Them staring at each other and Latte not being able to form sentences is killing me. Everyone noticed how different Latte is from last season.

AuAu and Save, Save laying on Au's lap and the way they locked eyes, AuAu playing with his hair????

Jimmy and Ohm covering the eyes, the desperate hugs, holding on to each other... Ohm laying on Jimmy's lap and dragging his head down, they're literally INSANE.

Season 3 ~ DMD Friendship the Reality: The Third Chapter

Otto mentioning how he already knows North and he's attentive and cares for him + North being shy and saying he was just getting to know him like he's supposed to "for the show"... yeah right.

The confessionals back to back about Pung finding Copper interesting and energetic & Fifa saying he wants to get to know Copper better... The love triangle is forming.

Copper talking vaguely about someone who is quiet (editors you are magnificent because at the time no one know which one of them he was talking about)

Phupha saying Otto caught his eye because it felt like something passed between them when they made eye contact & Otto's confessional saying Phupha was giving wasian vibes and how he thinks a lot of people will like him. The love triangle pt. 2

North saying he was going to see Pung... no one believes you bud. And then immediately beelining for Otto and asking him which bed he's sleeping in. He's not slick.

Copper and Fifa being the first ones to have a one on one chat ;)

The whole letter exchange, always gives me dating show vibes. But, this season they have them do it EVERY SINGLE DAY... oh so much extra drama.

The reveal of Patji and Ryujin for the photo shoot was incredible. THE JEALOUSY OF RYUJINNNNNNNNNN the entire time. His reaction when Wave glanced at Patji and everyone was like "ooh vibes", he looked like he was going to burn a hole into them.

Ryujin using Patji's shoulder to get down, PLEASE we all know you didn't need to do that. He was just trying to show everyone Patji is his.

"Too much, too much" when Ryujin pretended to take his coat off LMAOOOOO PATJI PLEASE.

Porsche: "Let's see if they know their own hearts, or if something new will flourish from this. Meanwhile, I'll be the neighbor peeking at these boys in secret" HE IS US, WE ARE HIM. (but does this not sound like he's talking about dating like omg)

Copper picking Pung for the date, they looked so comfy and the way they were giggling at each other!! (SUE ME, I LIKED THEM BACK THEN. Ofc now it's only CopperFifa, but funnily enough I was rooting for both of them when it was still airing)

THE QUADRUPLE DATE omg the tension!!! Patji trying to feed Wave, and Ryujin saying, "He's not eating, stop forcing him to" jealously.

Patji just knowing that Ryujin doesn't eat meat, Ryujin looking so proud that he remembered.

Ryujin laughing at all of Patji's jokes and quips-- no man is that funny, stand up Ryu-- like calling him a herbivore, giggling about him not knowing who Sheldon is, etc.

Wave asking the million dollar question: "Are you planning to choose each other" YESSIR. The tension in the air. The way Fifa laughed, and instantly locked in. Ryujin choking on his water, and looking at Patji shyly. If not dating show, why do dating show shaped? 🤨

Ryujin saying "Noo, where did you get that from" and Patji responding with, "I want to get to know everyone better, and there may be someone better"

Ryujin looking at him hurt, accidentally dropping the fish. AGAIN SO NOT FRIENDSHIP LIKE.

Wave looking between them amused, "I mean who knows?" REPRESENTING US.

Fifa asking if they have anyone in mind, and Patji immediately saying "you" to him. THAT GLARE RYUJIN GAVE HIM, he's literally so jealous. And then cut to his confessional: "There were three of us, why didn't he pick Wave… OR… ME" LIKE SIR DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO HIDE IT.

When Fifa said he wanted to get to know Patji too, Ryujin literally looked so so sad. Also, when Ryujin looked over at him jealously, Fifa was already looking at him and giggling.

Copper and Fifa being partnered for the singing competition and Copper saying in his confessional, "I always wanted to work with him" PFFT WE GOT YOU.

Phupha immediately thinking/hoping Otto would pair with him LMAOOO

Porsche was taking me out, "It looked like they exchanged letters the first day they met, so I'm curious to see how my boys cook." He's like the one quiet kid who witnesses everything (he is me, I am him)

Ryujin: "I've never heard Patji sing a duet with anyone else, so I felt... I'd like to see it." Is that right sir...

The editors cutting to Ryujin's confessional after showing Phupha and Otto, "For those who aren't here today... are they missing out on anything" Him teasing North knowing he isn't here is CRAZY WORK.

Copper and FIfa's chemistry was oozing in their performance of Mantra (they did an amazing job) the way they stared at each other and smiled, so cute.

Ryujin solely talking about Patji for his duet performance with Pete, your favoritism is showing sir. "I already knew he was good" are you telling us or bragging?

"That's my boy" Ryujin said it so proudly TWICE in front of everyone. The judges' reaction to this was literally me. We heard you loud and clear.

And then Ryujin went straight to Patji during the group hug, he's not subtle at all.

Everyone thinking Patji was going to choose Ryujin for his friendship time (He is younger Keng for a reason, following in his footsteps)

The camera man zooming in on Ryu's face when it is announced that Patji chose Fifa, the other members not even hiding their stares, and Porsche in absolute shock telling Ryujin, "Patji has chosen Fifa" Man was in disbelief. (this whole thing gives me flashbacks to season 1 when Keng chose Teetee instead of Namping)

Patji bringing up Copper on the friendship date with Fifa, FIfa bringing up Ryujin. They know, and I know that they know.

The tension during North and Otto's "friendship" date was almost unbearable. North was so jealous when Otto brought up Phupha and he put it out there very clearly that he wanted Otto. Otto reassuring him and saying he would teach him to sing. North taking pictures of Otto.

Also, the fact that Otto was going to choose Phupha to thank him for singing with him, but Phupha wasn't there so he picked North.

North flirting with Otto talking about the dog, Otto responding to it in his letter. PLEASE SOMEONE SEDATE ME.

Copper choosing Pung because he felt comfortable with him, Pung not choosing anyone knowing that Copper wanted to rest. (production was good at building this and hiding Copper/ Fifa)

Porsche asking all the questions we wanted to know, "When Patji didn't choose you, were you disappointed?" R: "No, I was not. It's up to him. But if it was up to me, I'd choose him." LIKE WE KNOW SIR.

Porsche: "But Patji is still number one, right?" R: *Nods* "Well.." Yeah, this is so friendship like... Alexa play Ruin the Friendship by Taylor Swift.

Copper knowing that the letter was most likely not from Fifa, and putting his hand on his heart, ouch.

The way Copper read Pung's letter and said he was blushing, ugh so so cute. The love triangle here was more subtle, but literally dating show material.

Patji's letter to Ryujin. The way Ryujin tried to gatekeep what was in it by vaguely saying it was a drawing with no words. Just for it to cut to Patji's confessional where he said that it was sunflower.

Patji: "I sent mine to Ryujin, because we haven't talked lately, and he barely smiles, so I drew him a sunflower" OMG THE WAY HE NOTICED. AND WENT IMMEDIATELY TO COMFORT HIMMMMMM. AH.

And then the talk outside on the porch, the tension was unfathomable!!!!! R: "What's wrong?" Patji: "Now that we're in this program, do you still think we should choose each other?" The stares.

R: "For me, I'll choose you no matter what." Patji smiling while looking down.

R: "But, I understand that the reason we're here is to meet new people. So, if someone has caught your eye, you can get to know him better." ... "Whoever you chose, I'm fine with it." He says while his voice is literally shaking.

Patji: "You didn't send me any letters. But I did. I drew it with all my heart" AHHHHH. The way Ryujin looked at him adoringly.

R: "Oh, I always keep it with me, though. Didn't you know?" How cute. Patji: "You didn't send me a letter, but someone did." While checking Ryujin's expression, he's not slick.

R: "Why didn't you choose me (for the friendship time)" Patji: "I was trying to get to know someone new." R: "Okayyyy. Once you've gotten to know them all, if you still don't find anyone else. I'll always be right here." LIKE DOES THAT SEEM CASUAL TO YOU? NOT TO ME.

R: "I get it, chill chill." No one is ever chill when they say they're chill (cough, Auau, Cough).. "You can do whatever you want." and left with more tension. THE TWO OF THEM HAVE ME SCREAMING AT MY SCREEN OMG. Misunderstanding, miscommunication, jealousy, history, fate, they have it all.

Fifa exposing Otto. North: "When we were making the sandscape, he said Phupha was okay." Fifa: "He told you that? He Just wanted to make you jealous 'cause you never did." and calling North out for being an overthinker.

North's letter to Otto was so intense. He didn't leave anything left unsaid, he beared his whole heart. (A man who knows what he wants!!)

Copper talking about his partner was poetic: the one who he adores and want to take care of (Pung), and the one who gives him a peace of mind, draws him in, and he doesn't have to try with (Fifa)-- at the time we didn't know who is who

Ryujin being confident about his choice but not being sure if he will choose him back. P'Aof clocking him "Let me be clear. You mean Patji, correct?"

Ryujin: "Honestly, I'm opening up to everyone new here. However, Patji remains my ONLY choice" YESSIR.

P'Aof: "More opportunities will come your way after the show's over. You'll get to meet a lot new people, or someone with the right chemistry, someone you might feel confident with all the time." I won't be too delusional since this isn't totally related to the post but P'Aof is so right, he found thee one afterwards. ;)

Otto: "As for choosing my partner, I actually have someone I want to work with or someone I really click with." (North)

Namping giving Ryujin and Patji time to sort themselves out, LITERALLY BEHAVING LIKE CUPID. Everyone giving knowing looks. They know, I know, we know, Lee know.

Otto picking Phupha-- Porsche looking at North in shock. North looking hurt.

North: "During the Friendship Time, it was obvious that I wasn't Otto's first option." Oh noooo :(

Ryujin and Patji's da-te (If you get the reference, I love you). Patji taling about how they barely talked, Ryujin silently listening to him and reassuring him.

Ryujin: "I'm locked on you now" with his hand gesture, Patji's helpless shy giggle and then asking Ryujin to repeat it, then both of them getting shy.

Ryu teasing Patji while telling him he always chose him, laughing at Patji dropping the food (downbadism 101), getting a tissue for him and fake fighting when Patji said he already had one.

Ryujin: "I'll talk to you so much, that you get bored of my face" and Patji nodding. Don't worry I don't think Pat would ever get tired of you!!

Special mention: the way Phupha was so flirty with James and yet so shy was so adorable, and all of the other members teasing him about it.

Pung solely choosing Copper for the acting challenge, Copper choosing to use the privilege to also pick Fifa, Fifa saying if it wasn't Copper he wasn't sure who he would act with... LOVE TRIANGLE CINEMA.

The looks shared between Ryujin and Patji when the found out they would be acting together, "I was going to choose him anyways" OKAY RYUJIN!!! I agree with Wave, he is such a sweet talker.

The chemistry between Copper & Fifa, Ryujin & Patji, and North & Otto during the acting challenge was so good!!!!!

And then Copper and Fifa was cemented to me when they were acting silly together at the dinner. The way they kept looking at each other.

North and his pictures of Otto against the world. You can tell he admires him so much.

North: "I like the person in front of me, maybe?" And the way Otto got shy OMG.

THE BED SCENE??? NORTH YOU ARE NOT SLICK.Them getting close on the bed. North saying he can't sleep without hugging something. Otto giving him his pillow to hug, meaning they share the other one. North throwing his pillow so he can hug Otto instead. North talking about the day he met and how much it changed him... They're insane.

Wave being cupid and letting CopperFifa spend the night!!!! Copper asking about Fifa’s fever, and asking him if he took medicine was giving me major flashbacks to Namping and Keng in season 1. And the way they were goofing around, so adorable… someone pinch me.

Fifa: "This is the last friendship time. I wanted to spend it with you. If I won, you'd be my first choice anyways." SO CUTE.

Ryujin and Patji being lowkey clingy (Patji helping Ryujin out of bed)

North's jealous stare when Phupha air poked Otto's cheek. So not subtle. Them in their own world doing dog poses.

Pung and Copper's last friendship date felt heart-wrenching. It felt like watching a friends to lovers where you realize that one person thinks the other as a friend while the other caught feelings. It hurt to see both of them crying and sad.

Copper apologizing for being torn and Pung reassuring him, they are platonic soulmates.

North saying "Just in case someone regrets not choosing me" to Otto

Phupha popping out of thin air like a bombshell (similar to Tle interrupting Latte and Firstone's conversation in season 2)

North giving him his sunglasses (marking territory lowkey), then walking by whistling trying to act like he wasn't trying to make himself known

W: "I want to know who you're comfortable with." P: "Who I'm comfortable with..." AND THEN IT CUTTING TO FIFA AND PATJI TALKING, I just know the editors were in that room giggling for putting that. (edited like a reality dating show fr)

F: "So, what's on your mind?" P: "On my mind... I do have someone." F: "How's Ryujin doing?" HAHHAHAHA FIFA KNOWS.

Patji immediately smiling when Copper got back, knowing Fifa was going to go talk to Copper AND FIFA HURRIED OUT OF THERE TO GO SEE HIS MAN!!

This shouldn't be a part of this post because this is about moments that DOESN'T feel like a friendship show, but I can't help but say how I love this moment pt. 2: Pung and Porsche's talk warmed my heart, the way Pung discussed his hurt and the way Porsche reassured him. MY HEART!!! Ryujin also reassuring him, "I'm rooting for you" and Porsche's: "You'll find the right one." so cute.

Copper and Fifa's last conversation on the bench, the way Copper was flirting and and then getting shy at his own advances, they're so freaking cute.

C: "I'm just making sure in case you change your mind." F: "I don't have anyone in mind, because he's not just in mind, he's right next to me." SO SMOOTH. They're so cheesy and adorable.

F: "I'm so delighted to have you as my first partner, and I hope you're the only one who will ever get to be my partner." HE IS LOCKED INNNN. C: "Don't look at me too much, I'm blushing." and instantly looking at each other, THEY ARE TOO CUTE.

MY MOUTH DROPPED WHEN IT PANNED FROM OTTO TO PHUPHA, I was so confused. But it was a fake out. (The production team was so mean for making Otto walk past him... like are we on an episode of Single's Inferno rn???)

North and Otto's performance was so cute, the chemistry was shining!!! "North, once you let your guard down and expressed your feelings, you seemed to forget everything else." WHY DID THEY CALL HIM OUT LIKE THAT HAHAHA. He looks so shy, awww.

The way Copper and Fifa were looking at each other throughout the performance, the way they KISSED THEIR HANDS WHILE IT WAS TOUCHING???? Copper copying Fifa while they were listening to feedback. Cuties.

Ryujin and Patji's performance including an acting bit that literally reflects them in real life (and it being about being more than friends)... what are you trying to tell us.

Ryujin: "So, you want me to change?" SHUT UP. THE WAY HE LOOKED AT PATJI, THE WAY PATJI GOT SHY??? P: "Last year, it was just the two of us performing solo" So again, it's about you two, not characters. Got it. Ohm's reaction, exactly king!! They're not even trying to be subtle.

The whole scene at the desk: Patji poking Ryujin's cheek, Ryujin leaning on his shoulder, Patji getting shy and pushing him away??? Ryujin's smile. Ugh adorable.

But literally I felt like I was interrupting them during this performance, I mean the way they kept doing the triangle method??? YEAH I NOTICED. I thought they were going to kiss at the end, I mean did you guys see the way they kept staring into each other eyes and lips and getting closer? Ryujin looked so shy, squeezing Patji's arm, and looking back at the audience like he was reminding them both where they were.

AND AS IF THAT WASN"T ENOUGH, THE LAST TWO LINES KILLED ME... P: "Do you still think we're just friends?" R: "Isn't it obvious by now?" WHILE BITING HIS LIP? Oh my gosh.

Them asking North to say something when Otto won best performance, and him shyly saying how proud he is. Otto saying he's also proud of North-- Like we get it you're in love.

Patji and Ryujin winning best partners was so deserved!! Patji was so cute jumping up and down, and the way they hugged each other. The way Patji was getting emotional and immediately leaned into Ryujin, and Ryujin ignored everything else to hug Patji and comfort him?? Excuse me while I go scream.

Anyways that's the end of my long tangent of NOT friendship moments during DMD Friendship. I can't wait for season 4, especially with all of the love triangles, ghost ships, unofficial couples, etc. already existing prior to the show starting. I will update this if (hopefully when) they air season 4. I also hope people are less intense than they were with season 3, because that makes it less enjoyable.
