The Carnival custom of Boules and Yenitsari. Your eyes do not deceive you, there is indeed a beard under the mask. Men wear both the female and male costumes of this particular custom.

🇬🇷 🍷 It's Sunday night and I'm loving this 2022 Boutari Naoussa Red (90+ pts, $20) from Greece. This Xinomavro arrived in LCBO VINTAGES in November and is a great buy! Full review: https://rebrand.ly/tbv6ss4

Discover the paradisiacal island of Paros in Greece. This peaceful island of the Cyclades, located between Naxos and Antiparos, is an ideal destination for those seeking to recharge their batteries in an idyllic environment.
When you arrive in Paros, you will immediately be seduced by the bright color of the sky and the sea, which draws sumptuous beaches. The main town and capital of the island, Parikia, is a must-see tourist site. There are many restaurants, cafes and stores to relax and enjoy the local life.
The island of Paros is also famous for its rich marble quarries, which were successively under the domination of Athens, Macedonia, Rome and Byzantium. The church of Panaghia Ekatontapiliani houses a baptistery that is over 1600 years old and is a fascinating place to visit.
Naoussa, the "Saint Tropez of Paros", is a charming little fishing port which has managed to preserve some of its soul and traditions despite its tourist development. You can discover restaurants, bars and luxury stores in increasing numbers every year.
The island of Paros is not very large, so you can easily do the tour in one day. Renting a quad bike or a scooter is a great way to get around and ride as you please. You can stop wherever you want to explore the quiet villages such as Lefkes, Lagkada, Aspro Chorio and Dryos.
The beaches of Paros are also a must-see. Monastiri is an excellent beach for snorkeling and for families with young children, while Marcello or Martselo is perfect for admiring the incessant coming and going in the main port.
