He cuddles like a monster, more than once have you almost been suffocated because he rolled over onto you, and he ALWAYS falls asleep when cuddling so the only safe way to cuddle is either him holding you so he subconsciously realizes your there or lay flat on top of him so he can’t roll around. Characters: Genma, Gaara, Kiba, Shikamaru, Naruto
Genma:
Genma is so nervous, even more nervous now that Tsunade just sent him on a mission and he had to make it back in time for your date this weekend. He's pined over you for years and you finally said yes.
The second he gets home from the mission he immediately jumps into the shower, changes his clothes and is running to your place.
He groans remembering he forgot to get you flowers, thinking it would make him lose a point in your book.
It doesn't. You've liked him for years as well. You smile when you hear his knock on your door.
"Hey." Genma smirks acting nonchalant as he leaned against your doorway. His heart however was racing a million miles a minute as he stared at you.
"Hey yourself." you smiled as you reached out your hand for him. He gladly took it as the two of you walked down the steps. "How was the mission?"
Genma laughed, "How'd you know?"
"I may have asked when I didn't see you for a few days." you blushed.
Genma smiled, loving the fact you asked about him. "It was the longest mission I have ever been on knowing that I couldn't see you until I finished it."
Gaara:
Gaara sighed as yet another advisor came into his office dropping off more paperwork that had to be signed before Gaara left. Gaara finally had the courage to take you to dinner and now the time is here only his work continues to pile up.
Gaara sighed again when he heard a knock on the door, "come in." Gaara blushed when you walked in with a bag of takeout from the restaurant you were supposed to have dinner with him at tonight.
"Heard you were getting busy tonight." you blushed as you walked over to him.
"Unfortunately yes." he smiled as he rose from his seat to meet you.
"So," you laughed, "new date, we eat this and then we work on this paperwork."
"You deserve a finer first date than takeout and work." Gaara sighed as he looked down at you, his hands intertwining with yours.
"Any date with you, is the perfect date."
Kiba:
Kiba has ran all over the village gathering supplies for your first date. He couldn't believe you actually agreed to go out with him and he was not about to ruin it. When the time finally came for your date, he was nervous, Akamaru practically had to push him out of the door so he could go get you.
Kiba paced the street your apartment was on for nearly 10 minutes. You laughed as you could see him from your window. He had nothing to be worried about, you've had a crush on him since the two of you were in the academy. You slowly made your way out of your place as you approached him.
"I know you're supposed to pick me up but I couldn't watch you suffer any longer." you laughed as you walked over to him.
"So you saw all that?" he sighed as his cheeks grew red.
"I did," you smiled as you leaned up to kiss his cheek, "you're cute when you're nervous Inuzuka."
Shikamaru:
Shikamaru kept your first date extremely lowkey and hidden from all your friends. He didn't want to deal with anyone talking about the two of you, he just wanted to focus on you. He just finished laying out the blanket when he felt you approach him.
"You're early." He groaned, hoping he would've had the picnic area all set up before you got here.
"I wanted to see you." you smiled as you looked at your surroundings, you were surprised how much effort he's put into the date.
Shikamaru smiled as he turned to you, rubbing the back of his neck nervously, "I wanted it to just be us, not have to deal with the crowds and questions you know."
"I love it." you smiled as you walked up to him, placing your hand on his chest as you gave him a quick peck on his cheek. "Thank you."
Naruto:
-Naruto was completely fine up until Sakura asked him what the two of you were doing for your first date. He didn't think about it, he just wanted to take you to Ichiraku, a place of so many happy memories for him. However when Sakura sighed, Naruto started overthinking.
He watched you walk out of your place, immediately running up to meet you with a bouquet of flowers.
"Naruto!" you smiled as you saw him, blushing at the flowers in his hands. "I thought I was supposed to meet you there?"
"Yeah, but," he chuckled nervously, "I wanted to walk with you." he blushed, "Oh and I got you these."
"Well I'm glad." you smiled as you sniffed the flowers. "We're going to Ichiraku right? I'm starving and I've been craving ramen."
Naruto smiled, he was definitely going to brag to Sakura later about how much he knew you better than her. "Believe it!" he laughed as he intertwined your hands.

Kakashi:
Immediately questions if the ninja world is stable enough, he's lost a lot of people and he knows if he lost his child it would absolutely destroy him and put him a dark place, a darker place than he's ever been. However, a little baby with a little bit of him and a little bit of you? He's already in love.
"A or many?" Kakashi chuckles, his head kissing your stomach.
"one or two, also there's not a baby in there yet." you chuckled, your fingers playing with his hair.
"yet." he smirked leaning back up to you and kissing you on the lips.
bonus: has a baby girl, she's an absolute badass and a total mini me of her father.
Genma:
Thinks about how your child would be a total baddie. Boy or girl they'd have their pick of whoever they wanted to date, fight, or train with. He smiles just thinking about it, a little mini version of the two of you.
Genma walks over to you, his finger tracing your face as you look at him, "Let's start now." he smiles as he kisses you, his hands digging into your waist deepening the kiss.
Bonus: keeping my Genma with a daughter headcanon because I'm in love with it.
Gai:
"We already have one."
"Lee doesn't count baby, like an actual one."
Gai immediately starts to blush, a child, a child of his own, it's all he's ever dreamed of.
bonus: it's a baby girl, she's has his hair cut except has two pigtails that it forms into, besties with Kakashi's daughter.
Naruto:
Has always wanted a family so he is EAGER to start.
"Like one? Two? Three?" he asks, already taking off his clothes.
bonus: somehow kushina's red hair gets passed down and it's really cute but the two of you are very surprised.
Shikamaru:
Immediately sighs, it's not that he doesn't want a kid with you but kids are just so much work.
"Do I have to do anything?" he chuckles walking over to you, placing a kiss to the top of your head.
"Yeah I can't do it without you," you laughed meaning both physically you can't make a child without him and also there's no way you're raising a baby alone.

Kiba:
Babes Kiba is definitely the one would bring it up to you tbh. The two of you casually cuddling together, his hand rubbing your stomach as he always does to put you to sleep, "can we put a baby in here?"
Your eyes instantly shot up, saying goodbye to any idea of sleep you thought you would get tonight. "Like an actual human child?"
"Yeah." he smiles up at you, his eyes looking at you with pure love.

You're On Your Period: Sasuke, Sai, Shino, Yamato
Sasuke
Sasuke knew the second he walked into your apartment that something was up. The lights were off, barely a sound in the place and you were curled up in a ball on your couch. Was it really already that time of the month again? Has he been gone that long?
“Sasuke?” you whispered, your head picking up just a bit when you heard him walk in.
“I wish I would’ve known.” Sasuke whispered back to you, his body slowly moving across your floor before sitting on the couch with you, his hand pulling you into him.
“I already took some painkillers.” you yawned, cuddling deeper into Sasuke. This. This is what you needed. This felt better than any pills or chocolates. “I missed you.”
“I missed you more,” Sasuke whispered, placing a light kiss to the top of your head, “it’s why I came back early.”
You laughed, the two of you knowing that this week of all weeks is the worst time for Sasuke to come back but it was just your luck. “Well my period came early so I guess next time, one of us has to stay on time.”
“I knew I wasn’t gone that long.” Sasuke chuckled, his arm tightening his grip around you, the two of you slowly drifting off to sleep.
Sai
Sai stared at you, he knew nothing bad happened on your mission, he knew that you slept well because you told him this morning you did, and he knew that 5 seconds ago you were perfectly fine but now here you are.
Your head hung low as you stared at the small drop of juice that landed on the counter that now had company with the few drops of tears you let out.
“Are -?” Sai knew the answer to his question. You weren’t okay, he knew that but he just didn’t understand why you weren’t okay.
“The” you swallowed back a few tears, “juice.” you looked up, giving him a light smile. You’ve only been dating for a few months so adding “period emotions” onto his plate was not an option. You knew Sai had enough trouble figuring out emotions as it is.
“Do you not like it?”
“No, the juice is really good, thank you.”
Poor Sai is even more confused now. He started flipping through all the books he’s read so far, specifically books on being friends with girls, how to understand females, and what females go through every month. Could it be that? Were you on your period?
“Are you menstruating?”
“Oh god!” you sighed, turning around so Sai couldn’t see your embarrassment. There was nothing to be embarrassed about but, “please don’t use menstruating you can just say period.” you laughed.
Sai cracked one of his rare genuine smiles, glad that he figured it out. “It’s just a period, and..” Sai made his way over to you, his hands sliding across your waist as he put slight pressure on your stomach, “I have prepared for this.”
“How many period books did you read?”
“Maybe one or two.”
You laughed, turning around and resting your hands on Sai’s shoulder, “So three?”
“Three.”
Shino
Shino said nothing, just leaned back against the tree after you just snapped at him, it wasn’t like you. Were you anyone else, he would be a little hurt about it. But, you’re you and you don’t snap without reason.
This time though, you didn’t have a reason. At least not one he could think of unless you're on your period and if he’s remembering correctly you should be close.
“What?” you groaned, rolling your eyes as you walked away from Shino.
“An apology wouldn’t be the worst thing,” Shino chuckled, not wanting an apology but it was his way of letting you know that you were being a little mean. His hand went down to grab yours knowing that during this time you need to feel held just a little more than usual.
“You were being annoying!” you sighed, your fingers interlocking with Shino as you actively ignored the stabbing pain in your stomach mixed with hunger.
“We were training.”
“And you won.”
“Like I always do.” Shino smiled, leading the way to your favorite cafe.
“Which is annoying.”
“I’m sorry I won. Your turn.” Shino stopped walking, the cafe directly in front of you but you were too in your head to see it.
“Why’d you- ?” You stopped when you recognized where you were, immediately feeling bad for snapping at your boyfriend. “I’m sorry.”
“So, we’ll get some food here. Then we can stop by the store and pick up a few things. Why? Because I noticed you were low last month near the end.” Shino yawned, pulling you inside.
“How’d you-?” you smiled, thankful for your boyfriend who knew you better than you knew yourself most days.
Yamato
“Baby?” you yawned turning over to a sleeping Yamato who just muffled a slight hmph. “My stomach hurts.”
Yamato opened his eyes the second you mentioned you were in pain. His body turned over to you as his hand reached out to rub your lower stomach, “cramps?”
“I think so, a little nauseous too.” you grimaced at the sharp pain that your body just experienced.
Yamato smiled, he liked when you were on your period. You were normally so independent so whenever you’re on your period you need him just a little bit more. “I’ll be back.” he whispered before placing a light kiss on your forehead.
“No, stay.”
“But-?”
“I don’t know, can’t you like, send a clone?” you yawned, pulling him back down to you as you nuzzled your face into his neck.
“I-?” if he was honest he forgot that clones exist and can easily go pick up things for you while the actual him gets to cuddle with you longer, his hands weaving signs for his wood release making sure his wood clone picked up Yamato’s wallet before leaving.
“See, so much better.” you smiled, loving having the feeling of Yamato beside you, he was so peaceful.

Genma:
You rolled over on your side, nothing felt comfortable. Your body was sore, you were freezing cold and nothing could warm you up. Your hand accidentally touched Genma’s chest as he instantly shot up. “Y/N? Holy shit you’re burning up.” he whispered trying to wake you up.
You ignored him just trying to cuddle into him, “I’m so cold,” you replied shivering, your teeth chattering in the process.
Genma looked down at you, you got cold sweats every time you have a fever. “Why didn’t you tell me you had a fever?” He asked as he picked you up and took you to the bathroom. Your shirt and shorts were completely soaked through, your hair was wet and you looked pale. Genma started the shower, testing the water with his hand to make sure it was lukewarm. You laid your head against the wall, the cold tile on the floor helping to sooth your body.
“Lift your arms up for me okay?” he asked you as he slowly removed your shirt.
You groaned as your whole body was met with pain.
“I know, but the shower should help.”
You did as you were asked, removing your pajamas and stepping into the shower, Genma caught you just as you were about to slip. “I got you, you’re okay.” he whispered as he sat back against the tub with you in his arms. The water now hitting both of you, you slowly felt your body temperature slowly drop to it’s normal temperature.
“This is a lot better than my plan to stay in bed and suffer all night,” you whispered as you laid your head against his chest. You could feel Genma chuckle against you.
“Well I would hope so.” he smiled as the two of you slowly drifted off to sleep. Waking up only when the water got cold. Genma helped you get out as he put one of his shirts on you. “I’m going to kill whoever got you sick you know.” he joked as it was almost 3:00am at this point.
“I’ll let Kotetsu know, he had a fever on our way back from our last mission,” you laughed as you got into bed. Genma removed the comforter and replaced it with a light quilt.
“As long as you’re better by tomorrow I won’t have to fight him,” Genma joked, pulling you into him. Your breathing became steadier by the second as the two of you finally got to sleep.
Gaara:
Gaara woke up instantly as he felt you shivering underneath his arm. Panic immediately ensued. Were you okay? Did someone poison you? He knew the Suna got cold at night but he thought the room was quite comfortable right now.
“Y/n.” Gaara whispered as his fingers traced your forehead. You were completely soaked and your forehead was hot to touch. “y/n, my love, are you alright?”
You shook your head as you felt a tear escape your eyes. You hated being sick, it made you feel weak both emotionally and physically. “I don't know why but everything hurts.” you groaned as you turned into his chest.
“Are you cold or hot right now y/n?” he whispered as he wrapped his arms around you again.
“It’s freezing, are you not cold?” you whispered, getting up to grab another blanket.
“Your body is very warm my love,” he said as he stopped you, “you’ll only increase your temperature.” he said picking you up and taking you to the balcony, grabbing a small blanket on the way out.
The two of you had a nice daybed on your balcony. Gaara sat down first and positioned you between his legs, the two of you now cuddling as your body reacted to the brisk Suna night air.
“This feels nice,” you replied, finally feeling the shivers go away.
“I hoped it would help.” Gaara replied as you fell back asleep on him. Gaara didn’t sleep for the rest of the night but rather kept watch in case your fever decided to get worse. He could protect you in every other way other than getting sick.
Kiba:
Akamaru chose to sleep in between you and Kiba tonight whining as he could feel your body temperature. He used his snout to try to wake you up. Kiba could feel Akamaru shuffling.
“Akamaru, you’re going to wake up y/n.” Kiba sighed, turning to face you and Akamaru. Akamaru just barked in response and dragged Kiba’s hand to your back. Kiba’s eyes widened, “Shit, y/n/n you’re burning up,” Kiba whispered as he got up and ran to your side of the bed. Your side of the bed was completely soaked. Kiba shook you awake.
“I know. I’m okay, it’s just summer.” you replied, opening your eyes to look at him.
“Except it’s fall and I’m not sweating,” Kiba laughed as he sat down next to you. “Do I? Do I need to go get Sakura?” he asked not knowing what to do in this situation, in all the years he knew you, you never once got sick.
You laughed as you got up, finally realizing how sweaty you actually were, “She’d kill you for waking her up this late.”
“I’ll be back.” he replied, laying a soft kiss on your forehead, “Akamaru, stay here with y/n okay?”
Akamaru barked in agreement.
As Kiba left the room you got up to take a shower, realizing how good Kiba’s nose was, you didn’t want him smelling your sweat. Akamaru got up to follow you, laying down next to the tub just in case you needed him. You got out of the shower nearly stepping on Akamaru in the process,”Hi sweet boy,” you whispered as you pet his head, “thanks for taking care of me.” You smiled as you made your way back to the bedroom, Akamaru following behind you.
You saw how Kiba removed all the heavy comforters and left a light sheet on the bed. “Uh Sakura said to have minimal heavy linen and to drink a lot of water and take these.” he nervously chuckled as you saw the mountain of water bottles now next to the bed and the bottles of fever reducers on your nightstand.
“I can’t believe you woke her up!” you laughed as you sat next to the bed, taking your fever reducers.
“I was worried!” he laughed, “she wasn’t too upset.” he laughed as he wrapped his arms around you so you could cuddle into him. The two of you drifted back off to sleep, if you ever got too cold you just cuddled more into Kiba as his body temperature was always hotter than yours.
Shikamaru:
Shikamaru had a late night at the Hokage’s office so he figured you’d be fast asleep by the time he came home. You just got back from a mission earlier and he could clearly see your body was tired when you came to turn in your report at the Hokage’s office. To his surprise you were sitting up on the couch watching tv.
“y/n?” he yawned, taking a good look at you. You had on about 5 heavy sweaters, 3 pairs of socks and a blanket. “Uh? Are you okay?” he asked, sitting next to you.
“I can’t get warm.” you sighed cuddling into him. He could immediately feel your body heat even through the layers of clothes.
“Uh? Are you sure? Your body's like the Suna.” he joked. “You’re just experiencing cold sweats right now.” he continued removing the sweaters, “and these are definitely counterproductive.” he sighed.
“But i’m cold” you persisted trying to avoid him removing another sweater.
“Eh- it’s confusing but just trust me okay?” he replied, giving you a small kiss.
“Fine,” you sighed defeated. Once Shikamaru got 4 of the sweaters off he went to go get your shoes.
“Let’s go on a walk.”
“Wha- what nooo” you cried out.
“To Sakura, she has the night shift at the hospital tonight.”
“Oh,” you said, getting up. “Only because I want to actually spend time with you before I go on my other mission tomorrow.”
“Yeah, I’m not letting Naruto put you on the mission now.” he laughed as he opened your door. “You need rest, Sakura is just going to make the fever go down.” he sighed as he crouched down, offering you a piggyback ride which you gladly took.
“Sounds good to me.” you replied, nearly falling asleep a couple of times on the way to the hospital.
