#Flashback Aston Family Home (Author POV)
The entire Aston family gathered to celebrate Letisha’s 22nd birthday. A wide array of food was laid out on the table to welcome their extended family. It was only in recent years that the Aston family began gathering more frequently. The main reason was that finally, a Lady Tanoko had been born into their family.
Letisha wore a pastel pink dress, a gift from her fiancé. She looked stunning with her hair elegantly pinned up and a light touch of makeup that enhanced her natural beauty. Letisha smiled and occasionally laughed, enjoying the jokes from her cousins. Today felt like the happiest day of her life—as if everything was perfect.
However, as the clear sky suddenly grew cloudy, a sudden heavy rain began to fall. The members of the Aston family, who had been busy chatting, turned to the window, and some of them commented on the unusual weather.
“That’s Sonagi,” one of them said. Sonagi—in Korean—means a sudden heavy rain that comes when the weather is warm. The abrupt downpour seemed to symbolize Letisha’s future, a future she could not avoid. A future full of unpredictability.
Jonathan, her older brother, suddenly asked everyone to be silent. On the television screen, unexpected news broke the lively atmosphere, turning the previously noisy house into sudden silence.
A tragic accident involving the Tanoko Group’s heir family in London had claimed the lives of Eleanor Tanoko and the firstborn son of the Tanoko family, Jeffrey Tanoko.
Everyone was silent upon hearing the news. Letisha felt a tightness in her chest, as if something was pressing there. Suddenly, the sapphire necklace she wore felt heavier, as though an invisible hand was pressing on her throat. Letisha held her breath, as if the necklace was a reminder of a fate she could not escape.
When the news ended, the loud ringing of the house phone shattered the silence in the living room. Her mother immediately rushed to answer, and her expression turned deeply anxious.
“Lady Tanoko… Letisha… you are requested to fly to London, now,” her mother said with a trembling voice.
Letisha felt as if the world had stopped momentarily. Her heart pounded fiercely. Upon hearing the words “Lady Tanoko,” the sapphire necklace she wore tightened even more, as if warning her that the life she knew was about to change forever. A role she could no longer avoid.

Tanoko Sport and Wellness Club (Letisha’s POV)
Lily and I had just finished our Pilates session, but she insisted I stay and wait while her husband finished his polo game. She kept whining nonstop—I honestly wanted to smack her—but her excuse was that I needed to relax. If I went home, I’d be immediately swamped with “Lady Tanoko duties” and a million other things.
So here I am, lying back, soaking up the warm morning sun. In front of me, a few men are playing polo. One of them is my husband, Elliot. Today, he looks incredibly handsome in his polo uniform. The way he rides his horse makes me blush a little. Does Elliot always look this good? I watch him with a mix of pride and something deeper, something I can’t quite explain.
The sunlight filters gently through my skin. As I absentmindedly play with my sapphire necklace—the one I wear every day—a group of women who just finished their yoga session suddenly block my view. They chatter loudly.
“Hey, isn’t that Young Master Elliot?” one woman says, apparently just finishing her protein shake. Another shamelessly steps right in front of me and stares at Elliot in a way that’s frankly inappropriate.
“If only my husband looked half as good as Young Master Tanoko, I’d give him everything,” another woman gushes, swaying flirtatiously.
“Look at those thighs—he’s gotta be amazing in bed,” another teases, making me cough sharply in shock. What did I just hear?! I just witnessed women openly lusting after my husband! Suddenly, they turn around, startled to find me right behind them. They surely didn’t expect me to still be here after yoga or Pilates. Usually, I’d rush off to my next appointment.
After they leave, Lily arrives with detox tea and the book we’re discussing in our upcoming book club. She’s holding The Alchemist. It’s a family tradition in the Tanoko household—Grandmother Aurelia ensures her grandchildren, including grandchildren-in-law, read a book each month and share tea together.
“Why can’t we be like normal families who just gossip when they get together? Why do we have to discuss books?” Lily complains, settling into the lounge chair beside me. The book looks like it was just bought yesterday.
“You do know the main character's name is not The Alchemist, right?” I tease her.
“Ugh, Sister Cousin Letisha, please just send me the summary later, okay? That professor will definitely pick on me to explain first and then criticize everything I say. Like, can a teacher do that to their student? Isn’t that bullying?” she whines, tossing the book aside.
I chuckle quietly, amused by her antics.
Lily and I have been close since high school. She was the happiest person when I was chosen to be Lady Tanoko. As both a cousin and a friend, she’s been incredibly supportive. After I finished quarantine for the selection process, she and my brother even conspired to “kidnap” me to London. That short trip was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. The highlight was definitely the masquerade ball—it was so much fun.
Lily waves toward someone I recognize—her husband, Zhong Chenle, the youngest son of the Zhong family’s Shanghai business empire. They met at Harvard, and according to Lily, it was love at first sight.
Chenle sits beside her, and Lily promptly hands him a towel, which he returns with a gentle kiss on her forehead. I smile watching their affection. But inside, I wonder—if Elliot and I married for love, would we have that kind of closeness?
Suddenly, Elliot arrives with Jeno. Elliot sits across from me, and I take a close look at him, having not seen him for days. They just returned from a business trip to Dubai.
“Brother cousin Mark, after book club, can I and Isha go shopping at the mall together?” Lily asks. Her question surprises me—after the book club, I’m supposed to attend a Tanoko Annual Ball meeting.
I was about to protest when Elliot cuts in,
“Sure, Lily. How about you use your car?” Elliot replies casually. I’m silent, uncertain. I never break my schedule, and what if the meeting is postponed?
“I... I have a meeting for the Tanoko Annual Ball,” I answer quietly. Elliot leans in to hear me better, then smiles. Why is he smiling like that?
“Oh... I thought otherwise. That’s okay, Letisha. I’ll ask them to move the meeting to tomorrow. Have fun with Lily!” he says effortlessly. How can he be so relaxed? What am I supposed to do? I’ve never changed my schedule since becoming Lady Tanoko.
“Yes! Then how about we hit the usual bar tonight?” Chenle suggests.
“There you go, always finding an excuse to drink,” Lily pouts.
“Let’s go to the one near the mall, and we’ll pick up the girls afterward,” Elliot says casually, standing up to change out of his polo shirt and into his bathrobe. I notice some of those women from earlier peeking over. What’s up with him? How can he be so carefree?
“Come on, sha, let’s get ready. Don’t be late for book club, especially not for the boutique—I already booked us for shopping later. Brother cousin Mark, Letisha has no limits when it comes to shopping, right?” Lily shouts, making me lightly hit her hand. Elliot gives a thumbs up as he walks toward the communal club.
I sigh deeply. Part of me is glad to enjoy a relaxed moment, but another part worries grandmother might come and lecture me again.
Elliot POV
I focused on driving, while Letisha hummed softly along with the song playing on the radio. After a long shopping session with Lily and Chenle—who threw a tantrum because his credit card bill was getting out of control—we finally decided to head home.
I glanced at Letisha, who was staring out the window, her eyes following the changing scenery outside. It had been two years since our marriage, and this was the first time I truly paid close attention to her. Today, she wore jeans paired with a white Celine t-shirt and a brown leather jacket. I suddenly realized just how petite she was, especially wearing flats like this. Every time she sat next to me, I felt a distance between us that I hadn’t noticed before.
I chuckled, remembering how she nearly got lost amidst her countless shopping bags earlier. That had become her habit—looking cheerful, a bit anxious, but always with unstoppable enthusiasm while shopping. Everything she did was filled with passion. That side of her was always endearing, a side I’d never truly noticed before.
Yet, for some reason, today felt different. I watched Letisha longer than usual—not just as my wife, but as the woman who had been by my side all this time. Why had I only now realized how beautiful she was, even in such simple clothes? Her sweet smile that often appeared during light conversations, her eyes filled with confusion, even the way she laughed so carefree—all of it felt more vivid to me today.
I knew I should focus more on the road, but every time I glanced at her, my heart felt uneasy. A deeper feeling was growing—something more than this formal marriage. But I didn’t know how to express it. I knew my feelings ran deeper than I could say, yet somehow I was stuck in this silence, watching her without being able to say a thing.
I kept driving, but my thoughts and feelings grew more tangled. Letisha, sitting beside me, unintentionally drew more attention than I should have given. Every detail I noticed—her simply flowing hair, her meaningful eyes that often hid everything behind a sweet smile—all of it began to change how I saw her. I didn’t know if this was just my anxiety or something bigger blossoming.
I glanced at her again, this time longer. Letisha remained silent, but now I could see she seemed a bit more relaxed, as if she wasn’t burdened by the world spinning so fast around her. I felt, somehow, that there were deeper things she kept inside—things I’d never asked about, that I’d let slip by without much thought.
“Letisha…” My voice sounded deeper than usual, making her turn with a curious look.
“Yes, Elliot?” she asked, her voice light but filled with curiosity. Her beautiful face looked so natural, though behind it I knew she hid many things I couldn’t just read. And damn, she keep calling me Elliot eventhough i told her to call me Mark.
I wanted to say something, but the words caught in my throat. I wanted to talk about feelings that were harder to keep silent—the jealousy that often disturbed me when I saw her laughing with others, or how I was starting to feel trapped in this quietness. But all I could do was stay silent.
“Is something bothering you?” she asked again, this time softer, as if trying to feel what was on my mind.
I looked at her for a moment, trying to read her eyes, but I couldn’t find the answers I sought. I couldn’t say what I felt. It seemed like words wouldn’t be enough to describe how complicated my feelings were right now.
“No… it’s just… I think we need to talk more,” I finally answered, trying to sound normal.
Letisha nodded slowly, then looked out the window again, as if pondering something deeper. I watched the increasingly blurred scenery outside, but I knew deep in my heart something was beginning to change. That feeling, which I’d hidden for so long, was growing harder to contain.
The car moved steadily, but inside me, many things kept swirling. I felt trapped, and the words I wanted to say seemed too difficult to express. Something more than this formal marriage was growing, yet part of me held back. What was it that I truly felt?
Is it okay for me to love her now? After everything that happened last year?
I wanted to reach for Letisha’s hand, pull her closer, and tell her I wanted more than this formal arrangement. But I knew those words would change everything. And I wasn’t sure I was ready to face that. Not after all that had happened—the feelings, the accident, and everything that made us who we are now.
I sighed, feeling more trapped in questions I couldn’t answer. Finally, I decided to stay silent, hoping that someday I’d find a way to express everything—without fearing the loss of what we’ve built together.

After two years, you’re finally back in town and the word spreads fast. The moment you step down from the train until you arrive at your best friend Aisha’s birthday party you feel every pair of eyes look at you. Everyone is completely shocked and dying to talk to you but they can’t. Because in their eyes, you’re still rich daddy’s favorite daughter. In their eyes, you’re still the same girl who left before you could even graduate high school.
You left without saying anything to your neighbours, friends or even your boyfriend, Jaehyun. The only one who knew about your situation is Aisha, and she swore she will never reveal the true reason why you left.
As you walk to the party, Aisha gave you a big hug giving you a glass of your favorite alcoholic beverage. “You’re back for good, right?” she asked trying to fight the loud music. “Yes! I’ll start school on Monday” you answer as one of her visitor took her away from you.
Everyone looks familiar but you don’t dare talk them. Not because you think they’re losers, but you feel small in this party. It feels like you don’t belong here. You made your way to the familiar pool side where you and Aisha used to hang out. There you enjoy the silence and the sound of the bubbles from the pool.
“You left, me without saying goodbye and now that you’re back I don’t get a simple ‘hi’”
Jaehyun sat beside you with all his bravery with a drink on his hand. Still handsome as the last day you spend with him. Out of all the people you left in this town, you feel sorry for Jaehyun. He didn’t deserve to be left alone just like that. You’ve been together for four amazing years and you were crazy in love with each other. For sure he got hurt when you left, and maybe he got mad? To be honest you want him to get mad to you, that way it’s easier to fully let go.
“Hi. I’m sorry about that” you try to ignore him and leave but he grabs your arm. “You left me without a word. Aren’t we going to talk about it?”
“No. Stay away from me, people might get the wrong idea” you said, stern and hard.
He brushed his hair using his fingers and pressed his lower and upper lip together. “Fuck until now you make me so frustrated” he scoffed, “Let’s get back together” he blurted out without even thinking.
“What makes you think I want you now?” Jaehyun is really impossible to reason with, he has this ‘I want it, I got it’ attitude that you hate but you’re not letting him win this time.
“Nothing. But I’m certain I still love you. And trying to win you back would be worth it”
“I’m not the same person, Jaehyun” you try to walk away but he accidentally pushed you straight to the pool. Next thing you know you’re both soaked and he offered you a ride home because clearly it’s his fault and you can’t ride the bus with wet clothes.
He was about to drive you to your house. Your old house, the biggest house for the richest family in town. “I don’t live there anymore. I live in a small apartment now” it’s embarrassing but you didn’t have a choice but to tell him the truth.
The drive was quiet, just the way you like it. “Sorry about your car seat, It’s drenched” he gave you his jacket before you get out of the car. “It’s okay, we’ve done a lot of other filthy things here” you rolled your eyes and left him.
He was happy you’re back. He never let himself forget everything about you and now that you’re back he will try to bring back what was taken away from the two of you. That’s how much he loves you.
Now that you live alone, adaptation is important. This town knew you as the rich and spoiled daughter who knows nothing but to shop and go to the coolest parties. Little did they know those two years definitely changed you as a person. Who knew even poverty would look good in you. Kidding aside, now you know how to wash and iron your own clothes, wash dishes, clean the house, cook your own meal. Everything that involves surviving alone.
Today is your first day in college and you’re looking forward to it mainly because of one reason. It’s the start to build a new life. But you saw Jaehyun waiting for you outside your apartment and your day is ruined already.
“Were not doing this Jae” you said as you show him how completely annoyed you were.
“Come on, I’ll take you to school” he offered with a big smile, showing off his dimples.
“We don’t go to the same college, idiot”
“I know, I just want to spend time with you. Please get in the car or I’ll scream how much I love you” you can’t believe he threatened you and you can’t believe you got in his car. You told him what happened last night is a mistake, and you were never planning to be friends with him just because you’re back. But of course he just shrugged it off and gave you a grande coffee from Starbucks.
It’s sweet how Jaehyun still remembers old habits, but it’s not you anymore. As he drive you to your school, you can’t stop being embarrassed again because it’s a public university but of course you don’t tell him that. “Thanks for dropping me off, uhm please stop this. Whatever you’re planning it’s-“ he cut you off, “I’ll pick you up at 5” he said with a mocking smile that makes your blood boil.
First day is first day. Classes from 7am to 5pm, new friends, a list of expensive books to buy, a quick tour around the university, and annoying Jaehyun waiting for you. “You’re unbelievable Jaehyun” you said a little angrier than ever, “Ugh- I need to go to the public library. Go home!” you don’t know what’s gotten into his head but he continues to pry. “I’ll study with you” he said as he runs off behind you, following you until you’re both sited at the library.
Focused and busy, you can’t believe he’s actually studying with you. You found of that he pursued engineering, and he’s already in his Junior year and actually doing really good. Deep down you’re proud of him.
As you continue studying in advance for a few subjects, you can’t figure out Math and it’s giving you a headache already. Jaehyun noticed that you’re kind of stuck to what you’re solving. So he offered help, he left a note in front of you that say’s, ‘I can help you with that’ You mouthed the word, ‘how’ and he made his own way to teach how to solve the problem, which actually really helped you.
‘Thank you’ you forced a smile. He winked back. Fucking Jung Jaehyun.
After studying, he drove you home and the ride was still quiet like the last time. He was incredibly a big help today, and you wanted to be nice just so you can return the favor. “I don’t have a choice but to be nice to you today. Do you want to eat something before you leave?”
He let out a small laugh, something that made you think he’s thinking about something dirty. And it’s clear as the night sky that he was thinking about eating you. “Forget I asked, you may leave and never come back again” you got out of his car and he quickly did the same thing, apologising over and over again as he follow you to your apartment.
The moment you invite him in, he was surprised to see your place to be so small. There’s no other room other than the bathroom, the kitchen is small, and there’s no furnitures. He knew better than to judge and ask about what happened to you. Instead, he made himself comfortable while you prepare the ramen in your kitchen. He’s not used to seeing you like this but he thinks you’re still amazing. You used to buy him expensive food when you were still rich and spoiled, but now you make cheap ramen for him.
You caught him smile as you place two bowls on the table, “Why are you smiling?” you brought him back to reality and shake his head, “oh nothing. I was just thinking about taking you for a long shopping tomorrow after school” that’s not you anymore, you down a glass of water and took a deep breath.
“The truth is Jaehyun, I’m broke. I left two years ago because my dad’s business crashed and burned. The bank took everything from us, the house, the cars, mom’s jewelries, everything. We needed to start a new life somewhere no one knows us because my parents can’t handle the humiliation and embarrassment. I have to take care of them both because they don’t know shit” and your story went on and on as he listens attentively on how you needed to be responsible for your parents, you told him how you learned doing house chores and being independent which made him fall in love with you even more.
“I know why you’re here Jaehyun. I don’t need your help-“
“I’m here for the reason, because I love you. Now eat your ramen before it gets cold” surprisingly he reached for your forehead and kissed it.
You won’t admit but the following days were bearable because of Jaehyun. He let’s you be your independent self as he takes care of you in his own ways. Spending time with you at the library made him study even harder and ace all of his big exams. When you were in high school studying with Jaehyun would end up having sex with him but now, studying is studying and he loved how he sees you accomplish all your school works just in time before the library closes.
The changes in his life with you in it is visible, and he loves it. Secretly he learned how to clean the dishes at home so he can offer to clean the dishes the next time you invite him in and eat ramen. Jaehyun loves spending time with you whenever and however but his favorite thing to do with you is going to the market. Picking fresh fruits and vegetables, buying fish and meat. It’s all fascinating for him which amuses you.
“Hey, I’m just wondering if you could go to this party I’m throwing this Saturday”
Going to the party means seeing a lot of people you already forgot about, of course you don’t want to. But you didn’t want to disappoint Jaehyun, “I can drop by” is the only answer you can think of. “That’s fine with me, as long as I get to see you that night” he said as he continues to drive.
That night you wished you didn’t say yes to Jaehyun. You don’t know how the rumors spread but everyone knew about the reason why you left. You can hear people making fun of you, telling you it’s probably karma because you were such a bitch back in the day. All you can do is cry at the bathroom and pray that Jaehyun won’t see you like this.
“Hey, I’ve been looking all over for you” Jaehyun found you as soon as you got out from the bathroom, faking a smile as someone bumped you on purpose and spill their drink on your shirt.
“Hey asshole you did that on purpose!” he shouts, clearly Jaehyun was not having a great time from his own party. “Everybody get out! All you do is gossip tonight you fucking ungrateful people, out!” seeing Jaehyun like this scared you, he never gets mad in front of you. When the house is already clear, he apologised to you for giving you a hard time tonight.
“I didn’t know they’ll gossip like hell tonight-“
“It’s not your fault Jae, it’s my dad’s fault” you sigh and sat on his couch, “Maybe they’re right, it’s karma. You know how I used to bully the students at school whenever I see someone bring packed lunch. I was a bitch, Jae”
He told you that y/n was long gone, “You’re like a completely different person now” he pulled you close to him as he tell you stories about him trying to wash his own clothes yesterday. The thought of it made you laugh like crazy, your voice echoes around his big house. He comforted you and made you laugh the whole evening, and you remember why you fell in love with Jaehyun in the first place.
On his birthday, it was a weekend and you had the whole day to celebrate. Nothing too fancy for this year, all he wanted to do is be with you. Spend the day like how a normal couple would spend Valentines day. Even though it’s clear to him that you’re not yet back together.
“I don’t have enough money saved up to buy you something you would actually like, so you can ask me to do anything today. I’m the gift” you present yourself playfully to him which made him laugh like loud, his ears are turning red.
“You know you’re the one that I want, be with me again” of course he’ll say that, and he’s serious.
“Don’t ruin your day you know my answer. Ask about something else” you said with a frown.
“Okay sorry you’re right. But I’m not changing what I said. Be with me today, pretend that we’re together again”
He held out his hand, waiting for you to grab it like how you used to do back when you were still together. Granting his wish you intertwine your fingers with his and you swear you felt something in your stomach. Butterflies, excitement, happiness.
The day went on beautifully which was nothing as you expected. You held hands around the park, swinging it like little kids while giggling and talking about anything that comes out from your mouths. Kissing your hand whenever he feels like doing it, and you can’t complain about it because it’s part of the deal. “What? Be thankful it’s not your lips” he winked and kissed your hand again.
While watching movies, his arms are wrapped around you as you shiver because of the cold movie house. Kissing your forehead whenever it’s near his lips. And to end the celebration properly and avoid the crowded dine-in restaurants, you ate takeout in his car while you watch the city lights. He was holding your hand right after you both eat your meals and continue telling stories and laughing the whole time.
You wanted to admit to yourself that you fell in love with Jaehyun for the second time in your life. But given your life situation, you still have nothing to offer to him.
“Why did you leave without saying goodbye?” he asked as if he just heard your thoughts. While waiting for your answer, his eyes were looking straight to you, head resting on his seat, hands still intertwined.
“We have big dreams that time. I mean studying in New York. Together? I can’t have those dreams with you while I’m… poor”
“What about now? Still not convinced we can be together even if you’re ‘poor’” he kissed your hand again, “I don’t know if I can let go when the clock strikes 12” the atmosphere suddenly became serious.
“Then don’t”
He’s sure as hell shocked by what you said. He lean forward and you did the same thing, and he kissed you. Sweet and slowly at first but no one is stopping so the both of you got carried away. The kiss became wet and hungrier, you noticed he was pulling you to sit on his lap but you didn’t want to. So you stopped the kiss and catch your breath. Letting go of his hand and put it on your forehead as you massage it, pretending you had a headache.
“Did you just kissed me because you feel sorry for me? Or is it because you feel same way?” He asked politely.
“I never stopped loving you, Jaehyun” you keep your hand relaxed on your lap. “I’m sorry if I ruined your day last minute-“
“What? No you didn’t” he reached for your face so you could look him in the eye, “I only have five minutes left. Kiss me again? Please?”
And you did. This time it was wet, but not because of spit but because of your tears. You continue kissing him until 12:01, hands wrapped around his head as you ruffle his soft hair. “I don’t want to rush you or force you. And I know were still not together again even though we shared that kiss. But at least now I have hope. Take all the time that you want. Just don’t leave me again. Or else I’ll find you this time.” He kissed your hand too many times before kissing your whole face, peck after peck.
Finally letting Jaehyun in your life again without boundaries, the following days were sweeter. He still studies with you at the library without distracting you but this time you two make out like crazy in his car at the library’s parking lot before he takes you home.
He still have dinner with you whenever you invite him in but this time he can finally hug you from behind and watch you cook from your shoulder. You even taught him how to cook and turns out he’s a fast learner. “Not bad Jung Jaehyun “
And because you taught him how to cook, he cooked for you in his big kitchen at home. You helped a bit but he did most of the work. “This is delicious” you praised his Spaghetti aglio e olio, ate almost half of the pan which made him happy because you loved his cooking. After dinner, you both clean up the kitchen washing everything on the sink, cleaning the table and finally snuggled up on his big couch with a glass of red wine.
“I think I deserve a good kiss” he said as he pretends to be tired. The next thing you know you’re making out on their couch before he drives you home. Which was sweet, he reach in for a kiss whenever the stop light goes red and continues to drive when it turns green.
“I didn’t want to feed your pride but, I hate going home after spending a great time with you” his smile was from ear to ear but you see tears and you started to panic.
“Did I say something wrong?” he shook his head and cupped your face with both hands and kissed you sincerely.
“I love you so fucking much” he barely said it clearly because of his sobbing, his tears are falling down on his face.
“I don’t get it Jaehyun why are you crying?”
“Hearing that makes me so fucking happy. It means you wont push me away ever again.”
you suddenly remember the time you push him away. You hugged him and saw the time, 3am. “I think you should stay. I cant let you drive at such a late hour. Come on I’ll make you coffee” you kiss him on the lips one last time, “stop crying.” You finished the day with bodies tangled on your cheap floor mattress as you talked and talked until you both fall asleep.
Time passed by so fast, you can’t believe it’s been two years already since you went back. Your relationship with Jaehyun has been the same, peaceful, happy and simple. Jaehyun is in his senior year and he became busier than ever. Guess what? Being a graduating student didn’t stopped him from seeing you. He sleeps more in your small apartment than his big house, “I can sleep better when you’re beside me” he said as he falls asleep beside you while you still study for a big test.
With no labels or whatsoever, Jaehyun couldn’t care less about it. As long as he could be with you and kiss you, you’re his girl. Labels or not.
“I have a big question to ask” he said while he’s driving. “I need to bring you as my date on this family gathering this weekend. I know you hate parties-“
“Yes. I’ll go with you” you said with a sly smile. Deep down you’re hesitating of course. Jaehyun’s family became the richest family after your father’s business crashed. Truth be told, you forgot how to be elegant. Now you’re just cheap.
As the most awaited weekend took place, you’re thankful Jaehyun bought you a nice dress fit for the party. Parties like this is full of business matters, yes it’s a party but everything they talk about in the four corners of this room is plain business. You know because your family used to throw tons of parties like this back in the day.
Hearing the continuous playing of piano made you remember how Jaehyun played nonstop at the piano you used to own… how you missed everything. Suddenly you don’t feel well. You wanted to get out of this place.
You tap Jaehyun’s shoulder as you excuse him from a visitor, “I think I should go home. I’ll take a cab, don’t worry about me” you kissed him on the cheek.
“Y/n your’e scaring me whats wrong?” he whispers, completely worried. You told him the problem and he told you he’s sorry, “It’s my fault. I’ll take you home”
A week passed and you told Jaehyun you need to bury yourself on thick books and you need to study for three big tests. Which does not exist. You just want to get away from him. But the space made you realise your new found love for Jaehyun. It’s not that you depend your happiness to Jaehyun, he just makes you look forward to living a simple life. Imagine having a delicious wine and perfect cheese on the side. Jaehyun is the cheese that made everything even more better.
After having a 7-5 class, you found Jaehyun waiting for you at the school’s parking lot. Gloomy and not his normal cheery self.
“Are we back to square one?” he blurted out before you can even greet him. “Because I don’t mind doing it again” he said a little too aggressive.
You panic, you thought he’s mad “no no were not. Im sorry. The dinner was too much. I just needed to forget it. Im sorry, I missed you” he hugged you tight back.
“I thought I lost you again” you shook your head. “Take me somewhere today I’m on school break for two weeks”
And just like that, you two were back to being your cheery self again. He took you to his house, cooked dinner for you and enjoyed his home theater with you. You watched a tear jerker romantic movie and he was whispering ‘i love yous’ whenever the lead actor do something sweet in the movie. You do the same but not as bold as he is. You never actually said those three words to him properly, but you do love him unconditionally.
“Your room is still the same.” You’re fresh from the shower wearing a black shirt from Jaehyun with just your panties. Roaming around his room as you dry your hair using a towel. You saw a picture of you that he took, just beside his LP player and vinyl collections. His room is always this cozy, you remember doing your homework here when you were in high school and having sex whenever you want, because no one dares to disturb you two in his room.
And speaking of sex, you suddenly remember the last time you had sex with Jaehyun. That was a week before you leave. It happened in this room, he didn’t know but you were completely heartbroken that time.
“Hey stop snooping around and come to bed with me” he said as he pat his bed, telling you to lay beside him. You jumped right in and went on top of him. “What if I never went back?” he hugged you and switched positions, now you’re beneath him. “But you’re here.” you feel his lips on your exposed neck, “in my bed” you kissed him on the mouth as you both sit up and remove your shirts. He skilfully unclasps your bra and threw it somewhere, pulling down your panties and throwing it to the floor.
As he was busy getting you naked, you take your time admiring his perfect body. Pushing him down on the mattress and getting on top of him again “Remember when I do this?” you tease as you kiss him on his abs, “and this” down to his lower abdomen, removing his boxer briefs slowly as you keep on kissing him all the way to his hard cock. You threw away his boxer briefs just like he did with your underwear.
Brushing his soft hair as you kiss him softly, Jaehyun is slowly making his way in between your legs. “Be gentle okay?” you whisper before he plays with your folds, gently playing with your cunt while looking at you. Slightly rolling your hips, Jaehyun’s fingers feels nice inside. All you can do is moan and grab his shoulders.
Wet enough for his cock, he slowly lined his cock on you cunt. Pushing in slowly, feeling your tight walls that he missed so much. “I love you Jung Jaehyun” you whisper before he move. Happy that you finally said it clearly. He thrust in slowly just how you like it, kissing your mouth as you moan on every thrust he gives. Gasping whenever he gives you a sharp one.
“Don’t leave me again” he whispers as he continue you to fuck you on a steady pace.
“I wont” you whimper and reach for him to keep him close to you as he thrust. “I’ll make you happy everyday” no doubt about that, you nod completely out of words as he bring you to the edge.
“Jaehyun right there” you moan as you spread your legs wider.
“Right here, hmm? Feels good?” he grabbed your waist with both hands and kept going with a faster pace. You nod weakly, mouth open and eyebrows furrow as you let go. Whispering sweet nothings to you while still hitting your good spot.
You shiver and curl beneath him as he chase his own orgasm and cum inside you. Cum dripping from your cunt, he slowly pull out and replaced in with his finger. Kissing you softly, while you still spread your legs for him and let him finger you as you both ride your high.
He kept you warm and calm after cleaning you, kissing you on your temple just a little too long but quick enough to ask for more.
“As much as I miss having sex with you, I think we should sleep already. I know you, you will ask for round two in ten minutes after you stretch your body- Look you’re doing it now” he shook his head playfully with a smile.
“Jaehyunie” you pout as you stretch and whine. “No” he playfully refuse. “We’ll have round two tomorrow” you nod as you accept defeat and snuggle beside him. Eyes closed and really comfortable he suddenly whispers, “I love you, y/n” you don’t say it back but he knows you love him too.
Jaehyun’s graduation finally came and you couldn’t be more proud. His parents flew from America and you finally meet them, again. “We knew it. We always knew you’re the right one for our Jaehyun” his mom told you, as you help her around the kitchen. The dinner was just Jaehyun, his parents and you.
“I have everyone that I love in this table, the people who helped me graduate and made me a better person. Cheers!” he kissed you in front of his parents, for the first time. “And you, thank you for giving me a second chance” he clinks your glass, took a sip on his wine, and kissed you again.
Soon, Jaehyun bought himself a decent apartment and asked you to move in with him. From there on, you sleep and wake up beside Jaehyun. No need to pick you up from your apartment, or watch you study at the library. Jaehyun is your home now.
You hear the blurry voice of people around you. You slowly come out of consciousness and feel the dampness of a facecloth on your head.
“Mom?”
You asks as you slowly open your eyes.
“Yes,dear?”
“What happened?”
Groaning in pain as you sit up from your bed.
“Oh you fainted out of shock your fine.”
She replies as she goes to help someone. You take a double look and everything comes back to you.
“WAIT, YOU’RE A WEREWOLF!”
You yell at the boy who was helping your mother in the kitchen.
“Yes.”
He sends you a smile as he turns his back to you.
“Mom, are you not scared?”
“No he’s a sweet boy and having him here is nice.”
She replies as they continue to bake, sugar cookies or something.
You get over the initial shock and go onto the kitchen to actually get to know the wolf in your kitchen.
“So, I didn’t quite catch you name.”
You ask as you come up to the boy.
“Shotaro.”
Sticking his hand out, you return it.
“Well nice to officially meet you.”
“Yeah, thank you for helping me out of the trap.”
“Yeah, no problem it was my trap after all.”
You grimace at that but shotaro just shrugs it off.
“If you don’t mind but I couldn’t help but wonder who was after you that night.”
“No not at all, that’s just my rival pack.”
Telling you calmly as he finishes cleaning up the mess on the counters while you help him clean.
“Oh, just you?”
“No, I have a pack.”
“Then why are you still here, would they be worried about you?”
You ask with nothing but concern.
“I don’t think I should go back right now.”
Sitting down in frustration he looks at his feet. He really did look like a sad puppy dog.
“Oh, I am sure you can go back aren’t packs supposed to be like family.”
You council him on the couch.
“Yeah, but they whole reason that pack wants to get rid of me is-, is-.”
“It’s okay Shotaro, you can trust me you tell the boy with complete honesty.
“My mate, she’s in the pack, but she’s in a arranged marriage with someone else for the strength of their pack.
“Oh, at least you know she won’t be hurt.”
You tell him your heart going out to him loading all of this on you somebody he just met a day ago but he trusted you with this you were going to be with him to help him.
“You know what, we’re going to save your mate.”
You declare jumping up with determination. Nothing really scared you, you always took care of your problems well. Werewolf’s were a daunting thought but you only live once.
“Y/n I don’t think I can do it.”
“No, thoughts like that make you fail.”
“You and your mate are destined to be together, a stupid little marriage isn’t going to get in the way of that.”
“Y/n, are you being serious?”
“Dead.”
Shotaro jumped with a smile just like you.
“We’re going to do it.”
You say with no doubt in your mind.
As the week went on you and Shotaro started to get close and preparing for your so called mission.
“All we want is to get in and get out.”
“Yes, these wolves are deadly and won’t hesitate to kill.”
“Shotaro, are you sure that you can’t ask for any help of your pack?”
You ask as you guys sit down for dinner the last day before you would be taking off.
“No, I have to do this without them.”
Shotaro proudly explains to you.
“You two better not get killed, I like you two very much you know.”
Your mom winks at the both of you in a playful way.
With that you finish dinner and head to sleep for the night. As you lay awake in your bed, the moon shining into your small room. The stars were out, they were beautiful.
Focusing on the log roof above you can’t help but think that something else had to happen for Shotaro to not want to ask for his packs assistants. It concerned you, you hadn’t known him for long but at this point you thought of him as a brother. You thought it was super cute when he was in his wolf from and how he would always play with Jasper and how he helped you with hunting, made things way faster. You hoped that everything in the end would turn out good and Shotaro could find his mate. Slowly drifting into sleep fast without realizing it.
Tweet,tweet
Your waken up by the birds chirping and the sun breaking through your window curtains.
You struggle out of bed like you do everytime.
About after 20 minutes of fighting the comfy bed you trudge downstairs of course Shotaro’s all ready and still eating, a lot, he was a werewolf after all.
“Y/n, are you ready?”
He also excitedly ready to see his mate safe and sound.
“Yep.”
Popping the p you respond to the boy.
After your mom made sure you were absolutely ready and you said your goodbyes the two of you headed out.
It was a day long journey to the packs house, Shotaro lead you while you were up on Jasper. The plan was to just wait until nightfall, sneak in to the packhouse and grab his mate. Simple.
The sun was setting as you and Shotaro set up camp down wind so you guys wouldn’t be found out. Waiting until nightfall you make finally make your way into the packs land. The house it’s self was huge, how you were going to find his mate was a troubling thought.
“Shotaro can you hear her?”
Asking about the whole mate connection that you didn’t really understand but thought it was cool.
“I am getting something, give me a sec.”
“Well we don’t have a many secs to spare. The two of you were sneaking into the back of the house. “She’s downstairs they kept her down there
“Ok let’s go.”
After successfully getting in you continue to venture into the house. Your heart was beating, you knew something was going to happen. Suddenly it just occurred to you, you’re human, what the fuck can I do?”
asking your self in your head your mind becomes filled with dread You had been so hyped to help Shotaro that you failed to think, why did your mother always go along with your crazy ideas.
“Shotaro, I can’t do this.”
You whisper behind you as your panic rises.
“What do you mean, y/n your the strongest person I have actually ever met that’s not a lie.”
“Ok,ok I can do this.”
“Yes we can do this.”
After the little pit stop you guys continue walking down a scary looking hallway.
“I can sense her, she’s here.”
“Nice.”
Sarcastically commented on the situation.
Shotaro brushes past you wanting to see his mate, you run after him not wanting to be left alone. When you get to the room it shocks you. A single cell. A young girl who was obviously Shotaro’s mate was tied to a chair in the centre and looked like she had been tortured for a week. That was strange to you considering that she was supposed to be set up for marriage, why would they hurt her like that. She didn’t look good.she was looking down, looking completely exhausted. The place was damp and gross. Shotaro ran to her and she looked at him with so much happiness her eyes lifted up and shined with love towards him. It was incredibly cute. Shotaro took her in his arms and lifted her up effortlessly.
“Ok let’s move.”
You tell Shotaro as he was still looking at his mate with love.
With that the three of you moved out again but you couldn’t be as smooth as before considering. You made it of the house but you had failed to notice that there was a hunting party coming back. They hadn’t failed to notice you though. You turned your head as you heard howling.
“SHIT.”
You yell out as three large black wolves start to give chase.
You knew you had to think fast Shotaro couldn’t take all three, you had to do something.
“Shotaro run back to camp and drop her off and came back to help me here.”
You tell him.
“You can’t take them all.”
“I can hold them for awhile until you help.”
“I-“
“Do it, I don’t call myself a hunter for nothing.”
You wink as you push him away.
You grab your bow and start to shoot. You didn’t know what you were going to do once they got close. You hit one in the eye taking him out for a minute, the two were getting closer and closer. About two strides away from you know.
“Oh fun.”
You saw their dark eyes and you were frozen.
𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒔 𝒘𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒀𝒖𝒕𝒂?
𝑰 𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘, 𝑰 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍 𝒐𝒇𝒇
Taeyong and Yuta were doing a life night patrol but they had both had been on edge for the entire time they both couldn’t put their fingers on it. Suddenly they picked the scent of Shotaro.
The two start to run to the scent wanting to make sure that he was ok, he had been missing for a week and he cut his mind link from the pack for reasons they both didn’t know. They finally see that Shotaro with a girl around a campsite. Shotaro quickly noticed them and looks away. The two of them come up to see what’s wrong.
"𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒔 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒐?
"𝒊 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒚𝒐-."
Yuta suddenly left and booked it, he smelled something so heavenly it called him and moved him like a magnet. Yuta smelled the strong scent of cherries and dark chocolate it was odd. Yuta was like a flash of light in the forest. He knew what it was, it was his mate.
In the moment app you could see the eyes as the animal was about to pounce on you you closed your eyes.
But the attack never came you opened your eyes and saw a beautiful white wolf fighting the wolves with everything he had. Shotaro and another black wolf came soon too.
After that the group of you guys got the heck out of dodge. You and Jasper were surrounded by the three wolves. You held hope on your arms, considering she was unconscious at this point she couldn’t come with Shotaro. You hadn’t spoken to any of them because they hadn’t shifted yet. The white wolf tended to get closer to you, and he constantly looked at you it concerned you. He was so pretty, you couldn’t help be drawn to him. His hair literally looked like it was glowing, he didn’t look like how the typical werewolf’s had been portrayed in the old books. Then again none of the werewolf’s you had met recently filled that role.
I really need to find this Johnny fic, please help me.
The plot is basically a girl (y/n - reader) likes a guy and Johnny suggests to fake date to make the guy interest in her. So like the cliche that it is they start date and develop feelings for eachother.
Is a long fic and thats is what I remember
I don't know how long, if has smut (probably yes) but I do konw that has a happy ending. Oh he probably is a frat boy too
A/N - Soo this is a Jisung timestamp but this is done differently than how most do their timestamps also the Jisung in this is different than “usual” Jisung just to let y’all know. He’s getting older so I feel as if the content in here is not that bad and if any of you have problems with Jisung being a regular teenage boy with hormones then oh fucking well. If you want to keep seeing him as a child then this is not for you.
W. Count - I don’t really know I didn’t look this time but ik it’s longer than I intended

As you laid sideways across your bed trying to find the perfect position. You heard your mom in the kitchen cooking what you hope is dinner. Your stomach wailing as soon as the thought crosses your mind. ‘Ah I found it’ you think as the immediate comfort of the perfect laying spot begins to set deep within your body.
You take a look at your phone and start back reading your story that was shining on the screen. It was starting to escalate as the currently featured side gay couple finally stopped lying to themselves and admittedly jumped each others bones. You feel the little tingle start in the pit of your stomach, it was just getting good when a message came through.
Jisungpwark 💚💚😗🤤🥰🤪:

grade
Jisungpwark 💚💚😗🤤🥰🤪:
That was for ONE DAY ok
If you come over I promise to let you win at mario kart
“What the hell?” you exclaimed slightly outraged at the bullshit he just sent to your phone. Sitting up you feel the competitiveness start to spike. “Did he really just challenge me like that?”
You get out of bed and start to put your shoes on, “He knows damn well that I can beat his ass without him ‘letting me win.’”
You:
Stop fucking lying whore you know damn well I can
beat your ass I mario kart
See now I have to come over and whoop you at your
own video game
I’ll be over in 10
Part of you knows Jisung said that on purpose but that didn’t stop you from taking the bait still.
Walking out of your room you go into the kitchen and see your mother almost done with dinner, the sweet aroma of the food has your mouth watering, stopping for a second you ponder if you should really go play mario kart.
“Hey sweets, dinner is almost ready.” your mother turns to you and smiles, taking in your jacket and shoes and she looks at you questiongly.
Walking around to your mom you give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek as you grab your car keys that sit behind her. “Hey I came to let you know that I was gonna head over to Jisung’s for a little to beat him at mario kart. He threatened me so I have to show him what’s up.” Hearing your statement, one that she has heard before, your mother laughs and gives you an ok before she recommends just staying the night, knowing that you won’t be back anytime soon.
Thinking about it you go and pack a bag. Going towards the front door you’re about to step out when your mom calls you back in the kitchen to which you see her sitting at the table with a plate of food as she slides a container with enough for both you and Jisung. “Thank you mama.” you say smiling so wide that it almost hurt, feeling happy that you get to eat some of f/f(favorite food).
“You’re welcome sweets. Oh and before I forget, be safe.”
You left out a huff of air telling your mother that you will be careful driving so she has nothing to worry about.
In a sing-song voice she goes,“That’s not what I meant.” As you open your mouth to ask what she meant she cuts you off by sliding something across the table.
“Mom...what is that. ‘Please don’t let it be what I think it is.’ But as you read the box your fears are confirmed. It is condoms. “Mom what the- EW mom no it’s not, we’re not-” she cuts you off with a raised hand.
“Sweetie you’re not in trouble. I know you and Jisung have been together for a very long time, and I trust and love you both. But you’re of the age where you do things like that and you may not feel comfortable telling me, but love safe sex is nothing to be ashame-”
Never having been this flustered in your life you frantically tried to get her to stop,“MOM. I…” Fidgeting with your hands you start to awkwardly look around the kitchen as if it was the first time you had ever seen it. “...We don’t do those types of things.”
“Ok darling, but you never know what might happen.” She states with the smuggest look on her face, winking as she hands you four condoms. “I’m not endorsing it but I know that if you want to do it then there’s nothing I could do to stop you so take these. Also you might want to go ahead and get to his house, your phone has been buzzing for a while now.” She states whilst she started to eat the food that was on her plate.
You couldn’t get out of that house quick enough, seeing as how you almost fell walking out of the door. Settling down in the car you release the biggest cringe you’ve ever had in your life. “AHHH ew what the fuck was that!” you exclaim feeling the condoms that burned in your pockets, as if they were trying to set your pants on fire so that they could get put to good use.
Finally calming down your phone buzzes with another message from Jisung. You see that he’s left various messages questioning where you are or what's taking so long. Some stating that you must be dead. You shake your head at your silly boyfriend as you reply to his many messages. With a light sigh you put the key in the ignition and back out of your driveway.
It was then that you started to look back at you and Jisung’s relationship. You guys started dating in fifth grade when you both got dared to spend seven minutes in heaven at you guys long time friend, Jeongin’s, birthday party. He still holds the fact that the only reason you too got together was because of him, but ever since then you and Jisung have been going strong.
Except for that one day in fifth grade when you guys broke up a week after you had gotten together because Mina Jameson had convinced you that Jisung would never want a ‘bludder whale’ like you. Ha jokes on her she’s had five STD’s this year alone and at least two pregnancy scares and she didn’t even know how to say blubber so who’s on top now.
Ever since you were a child you’ve always been bigger than most girls and it did make you feel insecure for a very long time, but if it wasn’t for Jisung who reassured you and showered you with as much love as he could every time you slipped you don’t know what life would be like.
You loved him with everything you had.
You and Jisung had never gone past small makeouts. They barely even involved tongue, there’s no way that things would just escalate tonight out of basically nowhere. Right?
Yea. Anyways Jisung is too shy for that even though sometimes he could be a cheeky asshole and I don’t know if I’m ready.
Seeing that you’ve made it to Jisung’s house you take a look at the time and see that it had been almost two hours as it was 6:45. Damn, well at least I brought food.
You greeted your soft looking boyfriend clad in a hoodie that is slightly big on him and Nike joggers, he almost tackled you to the ground when he saw the food in your hands. When he asked what took so long you just told him it was the food. You guys ate the food that your mom gave you and started playing mario kart.
8:23
After about 15 rematches most of which you won Jisung’s mom called him into the living room. She had an emergency at work and she wanted him to know that she wouldn’t be back till tomorrow.
“So babe, what are we gonna do now? We could watch a movie or...” Jisung whispered, trailing off as he got in bed next to you and started to survey every inch of your face. It felt as if he was looking into your soul. You felt like he could see every single flaw on your face and you did not like it. As soon as he started leaning in moving his hand to your pillowy waist your mind flashed to the conversation you had with your mother.
‘Is this it? Does he want to do it?’ Overwhelming thoughts started to cloud your mind and pretty soon you found yourself jerking back once you felt the tip of his nose touch yours. The sound of the sheets moving filled the room as you stood up off of the bed.
“Uhh it’s getting late, A movie sounds nice I think I’m just gonna go shower right quick and we can watch the movie when I get out, ok?” You state as you quickly gather your shorts that you brought and a hoodie out of Jisung’s closet, and rush into his en suite bathroom almost slamming the door behind you.
Turning on the shower to make sure he didn’t hear you, you immediately start to whisper shout, “Ah! What the fuck was that, who the fuck was that and what did he do with my boyfriend. Jisung has never been like that before.” Tying your hair up you hop in the shower feeling the water pelt your skin as you decided to forget about it, but you couldn’t deny the twinge you felt in your stomach every time you thought about how he looked when he stared at you like that.
9:34
The movie was boring so you guys decided to play games again. Only for Jisung to see that he was about to lose against you in Mortal Kombat and in an effort to be a little bitch he tackled you. Now wrestling you yell at him in mock anger for ruining the game before you could kick his head off. As you flipped the both of you over so that you were on top you started to pettily slap his arm.
“Ahh Park Jisung you dick! I almost won why’d you do tha-” You had gotten too comfortable and loosed up your legs that were caging him in and he was able to flip you mid sentence. It was then you noticed what a compromising position you both were in, it looked somewhat akin to the basic missionary.
Letting out quickened breaths you started to heat up as Jisung stayed in between your legs. You could see the slight perspiration sort of dampen his hair. The game made a sound that surprised you a little causing you to sort of jerk your body. At that Jisung let out a groan that sounded like it was painful.
Your body alerts and you start to question him,“Jisung I’m sorry are you ok? What happened?” A ferocious blush starts to race across his cheeks. He avoids your eyes and tells you that it was nothing and that he’s fine.
“Jisung stop lying and would you let me up now, you’ve been laying on me for a while an-” Cool slightly wet lips touch yours. A little startled at first you tense up but then his lips start to move against yours and the tension in your body slowly unwinds till nothing is left but pure bliss. His lips slowly caress yours and this feels like nothing you’ve ever felt in your life. The passion and the want that he puts into kissing you has you going crazy.
Once a steady rhythm is set you move your lower body in an effort to get comfortable and Jisung groans again, and you immediately feel something against your leg and you get flustered because now you know why he groaned and you feel like an idiot for not figuring it out sooner.
Jisung wants more, more of you, more of this. The high that this is putting him on is euphoric and for now he doesn’t want to stop. He didn’t say anything but when you came out of his bathroom in his hoodie that fit just like a dress because of the height difference and the illusion that you had nothing on under got him so riled up that he almost couldn’t breathe. It was always like that when it came to you. He loved you so much that it was at most times suffocating. He slips his tongue out of his mouth and just barely grazes it against your bottom lip as if he was testing out the water temp in a pool.
You feel something wet against your lips realizing that it was Jisung’s tongue and you quickly almost embarrassingly so open your mouth to let him in. His tongue ventures farther into your mouth and for a little bit there you both are, in the middle of the floor in his room exploring each other, tasting each other, and it is as if there is no one or nothing in the world except for you two.
Soon enough without realizing Jisung starts to slowly grind his semi-erection right on to your heated core. The feeling was heavenly and neither of you wanted to stop.
He lifts off of your lips so that you both could breath but he soon started to kiss all over your neck, and you throw your head back and release a moan that sounded like heaven to his ears. Grabbing your soft plushy sides he starts to feel anywhere that he can and you tense up out of slight fear at what could be his reaction. He runs one hand down to your thigh, lifting it so that it’s placed on his hip softly squeezing while the other starts to make its way to the hem of your hoodie pulling it up slightly, and that’s when the thoughts came.
You quickly pushed Jisung off of you and sat up trying to pull the hoodie as far down your body that it could reach. You looked toward Jisung to see that he had a blush the color of a strawberry and his lips were swollen to look even more soft and inviting than normal. Standing up you rush to his bathroom and close the door leaving a severely confused and turned on Jisung on the floor.
Looking toward the mirror, multiple hickies are splattered across your neck and when you lift your hand to rub against them you jolt a little at how tender they were. You could also see where it looked as if you had taken a shot at the kylie jenner lip challenge. But that wasn’t where your mind was at, you were focused on what just happened out there. Thoughts of Jisung possibly seeing your chubby stomach riddled with stretch marks made immediate panic course through your veins.
You normally were so good with not thinking about things like that Jisung having helped you be able to get here, but now when he was on the precipice of Jisung seeing your body you couldn’t think about anything but the possible disgust at what you really looked like.
It’s not like you didn’t trust him or anything but when insecurity strikes it strikes hard. You consider telling Jisung about these feelings considering you always have in the past, but what if he feels as if you’re doubting his love for you and he gets mad.
You realize that you’ve probably been in the bathroom for a long time and you didn’t want Jisung to worry so you muster up the courage and with a determined release of air you open the door. Only to see that Jisung is not where you left him.
“I wonder where he’s at?” You speak into the air until you wonder what time it is and see that it’s 10:15. ‘WTF we were making out for that long’
Thirty minutes have passed and Jisung is still not back. As soon as you get up to go look for him he walks into the room.
“Where were you? You’ve been gone for a little over half an hour.”
Jisung looks at you and when he sees your truly confused face he shyly thwarts his eyes and lifts his hand to rub his neck at the realization that he’ll actually have to explain. But before he can you see his shy gaze and it clicks in your mind what he could’ve been doing regarding what you felt earlier. Biting the inside of your lip you tell him nevermind stating that you already know. He apologizes and says he had to do something because he didn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable.
11:00
The last fifteen minutes have been filled with an agonisingly awkward aura in the air. You and Jisung have been sitting up against the headboard of his bed staring at some movie on tv but you knew that neither of you were actually paying attention. Jisung’s warm hand slides toward yours and upon contact you jump up and away.
“Babe what’s wrong? You’ve been jumpy ever since what happened a while ago. Is everything ok? Did I do something wrong?” Jisung asks with slight guilt in his voice thinking he was the problem. You told him no but he didn’t believe and you kept trying to deny his accusations saying that you were just tired but he wouldn’t take that for an answer.
He grabbed your chin and sort of gently forced you to look at him and when you saw his warm eyes filled with nothing but love you had no choice but to break down and tell him.
Hot salty tears ran down your face and he took his thumb and used it to wipe your tears as you described what happened when he tried to go under the hoodie. You had to continuously reassure him that it was not his fault, but your own.
“I promise Jisung you did nothing wrong. I love you so much we’ve been through everything together. It’s my fault for feeling this way even when you constantly shower me with love. I just sometimes, I feel like you shouldn’t like me and when you tried to reach under my hoodie it’s just like I didn’t want my fears to come true once you see my body.”
“...Babe I- I don’t know how to approach this like I want you to know how much I truly love you. I honestly love your body so much but I don’t want you to think that's all though.” Jisung stated nervously mildly irritated at himself for not being able to properly express his feelings for you. Starting to think you honestly couldn’t believe why you didn’t trust him. He was your mouse, your tall boi, your marshmallow, your love, and possibly even your life.
“C’mere” Jisung stated in his deep soothing voice as he pulled you into his lap in a straddle position.
What Jisung didn’t know was that you loved whenever you got to sit in his lap, it made you feel giddy inside.
Jisung totally knew that you loved to sit in his lap.
“It’s ok, we don’t have to rush. If you don’t feel comfortable showing your body too me yet then that’s ok...One request though.” He states with a small smile and a single finger held in the air. “Can we at least keep making out like this because I’ve been holding myself back and after tonight I don’t think I can do that anymore.” He promptly flashes a slightly cocky smirk to which you answer with a smack on the arm earning a laugh from him.
Wondering why you even date him you give him a lingering kiss on the lips and snuggle into his chest.
“Y/n, I noticed that earlier when you were talking about what happened you called this hoodie yours. I just wanted you to- ACK stop choking me- AKKK.”
Although he was currently being choked he was happy, because he knew that you were ok.
Coming home to an empty house cut deep. Some nights it was hard to stop the bleeding that resulted from such a wound. The worst part was it wasn’t even an injury that a bandage could fix. It was an invisible wound that stretched all the way from the top of the heart to the bottom.
It was hard for her to tell which taunted her the most: the bare walls or the deafening silence blaring throughout the lonesome house. There had been nights where she had sat on the hardwood floor of her half furnished house with a cold beer resting in her hands. Her eyes were always vacant, a true reflection of how she felt as she sat in the dimly lit living room with the television on at a high volume. It would drown out the ghosts, she told herself. It never did.
Eventually, she grew tired of fighting the same battle over and over. She found herself leaving work and avoiding returning from the dreadful house she had found herself despising. A part of her felt guilty - how could she be so unhappy with a roof over her head? The other part of her hurt so terribly that it seemed to drown out any guilt that she felt. So, she let her body carry her wherever it wanted.
Some nights she spent her free time in random fields. High weeds would surround her, tickling at the exposed skin of her arms and brushing against her fingertips softly as she ran freely underneath the moon. It was an intoxicating feeling. The moon’s glow provided her more comfort than her empty house ever could. She would have done it every night if she could, but unfortunately the landowners seemed to discover her secret affair with the night and quickly put an end to any further visitations.
It hurt, almost as much as that damned house had hurt her. Despite this, she found new areas of the world to explore. She had been all over town. Multiple times she had been ran off. Other times she had been threatened with legal actions. None of this stopped her. It wasn’t like she was climbing into the homes of families late at night, she just wanted to be embraced by nature.
One night she stumbled upon a garden. She had been running through the woods, away from the yells of a farmer who had caught her reading underneath his two-hundred-year-old oak tree. As she had emerged from the woods, her book had slipped from her sweaty fingertips and crashed against the earth’s wet surface. A startled gasp escaped her as she rushed to retrieve it. And then she looked up. The garden had been right in front of her. Even in the dark she could see the vibrant coloration of the flowers. They were sleeping peacefully, something she knew she should have been doing herself. In the distance she could see a large house, perhaps the biggest she had ever seen before. It was a sign of danger to her. Wealth meant major risk when trespassing onto private property. Still, she found herself unable to resist the temptation of the garden.
Her feet had carried her right to the center where a wide fountain rested. It was taller than she was and spat out cool water rapidly from its head. The sound of the water showering down into the peaceful pool below drew her in like a siren’s song. She let her book fumble onto the concrete ground beneath her feet before she gently dropped onto her knees. Hesitantly, her left hand reach out to touch the water. Her fingertips dipped underneath, the mud that stained them vanishing within seconds. The water was cold, but it made her feel alive. As she took a closer look at the bottom of the fountain, she could see the moon’s glow reflecting off of various coins. She removed her hand from the water and began searching her pockets for a coin. When she found none her shoulders dropped with disappointment.
“Here,” she heard a voice call from behind her. Her body turned in the direction of the voice before she could even process what was happening. A tall man loomed over her with his hand outstretched. In the middle of his palm rested a silver coin. She was reluctant to take it. It seemed crazy to accept money from a stranger in the middle of the night. Then again, it was crazy that she was even in an unknown location with a stranger at such a time. So, she found herself taking the coin from his hand.
“Is this your fountain?” Came the timid question.
The corner of the man’s lips lifted slightly at the question. “Technically it’s my parents, but I don’t think they mind sharing with me.”
“Are you going to tell them that I was here?” Her voice was low, as if sharing a secret. The man shook his head as he stuffed his hands into the pockets of his pajama pants. She watched as he took a few steps over before sitting down a few feet away from her beside the fountain. His head tilted towards the water.
“Make a wish,” he encouraged her. Her body faced the pool of water once again. Her cold fingers were wrapped around the coin tightly, but slowly she let them uncurl away from her palm. For a moment she remained frozen. There were so many things she wanted to wish for. The man watched her as she stared into the water with a faraway look in her dark eyes. For a moment he thought she wasn’t going to make a wish, but then she lifted her hand and tossed the coin into the water. They watched in silence as it sunk to the bottom to join the other coins.
“Do you think it will come true?” He questioned her.
She looked over at him with a frown on her face. “I don’t know. I hope it does.”
“I come out here and make a wish every night before I go to sleep,” the man revealed. “My wish is always the same.”
“Has it come true yet?” The woman asked.
“I think it will soon,” he told her with a smile on his face. His features were softer when he smiled. When the corners of his lips weren’t curled, he had an intimidating aura to him. To say she wasn’t intrigued would have been a lie.
“What’s your name?” She asked him. He told her that his name was Johnny and then asked her what hers was in return. Hesitantly, she revealed it. He told her it was a pretty name as his eyes averted away from her face to adore the night sky. Only in this part of the city could you see every star twinkling. She found herself drinking in the sight of him more than she did the sky, much to her own surprise.
“Why’d you come here?” Johnny asked her after a few minutes of silence.
“At night I like to go on adventures,” she explained quietly. “A farmer ran me off his farm, so I took off into the woods and it brought me here.”
The man looked over at her with surprised eyes. They were wider now, making him look innocent-like. “Do you need somewhere to stay? I can help.”
She shook her head. “I have a house. I just don’t like staying in it.”
“Why?” He couldn’t help but ask.
“Because it hurts,” she breathed the words out, her head dropping as she spoke. The man could see she was bothered by the subject. So, he dropped it.
“Then come here at night. We can make a wish together,” he told her. Her head lifted at this and her eyes found his again. When she realized he was being serious, a smile formed on her face.
His offer was not ignored. Every night she found herself visiting the garden. Johnny was always there, waiting on her with two coins resting in his hands. They made wishes together, swapped childhood stories, and confided in each other about the stressful aspects of their jobs. She learned that Johnny was trying to get into the entertainment industry, something that required a lot of his time and energy. It only made her more thankful for their time together. Johnny was perhaps the kindest man she had ever met.
“What did he do?” She asked him, leaning forward as if it would help her experience the story even more.
Johnny laughed before he could even begin to answer. “He spit the milk up all over the place! He looked like this fountain here! So now we call him the milkman and he hates us for it.”
It was such a ridiculous story, but he told it with so much enthusiasm that it was hard not to be invested in it. Their laughter died down a few minutes later, but the silence between them was not awkward.
“I had an interesting dream the other night,” Johnny began speaking again. He always seemed to be the one to speak first. The man loved to talk, but she didn’t mind. She asked him what his dream was about. He shook his head, seeming almost embarrassed to even share it with her. Of all the times she had visited, she had yet to see Johnny bashful before.
“So, it was us, right? And we were out here like we usually are at night, but this time we were dancing,” he paused. “It’s silly, right? I slept better that night than I have in a while, though.”
“I’ve never danced before. Is it that relaxing?” She asked him. Instead of answering her, Johnny rose up from the ground he was sitting on and stepped over to her. His hand was suddenly outstretched towards her, just as it was the first night they had encountered one another. This time there were no coins resting on his skin. And unlike the first time, her hand seemed to shoot out within just a few seconds. Johnny helped her stand up, but didn’t pull his hand away once she was up. He confidently guided her free hand to rest on his shoulder before he placed his large hand on the small of her back.
“Is this okay?” He asked. She nodded, laughing nervously. This seemed to make the corners of his lips curl. He guided her through a few basic steps and within just a few minutes she was starting to mimic his rhythm.
“Some people say I’m bad at dancing, so I might not be the best teacher,” he explained to her.
“It feels right,” she assured him.
The man hummed at this. “I guess that’s all that matters then.”
They danced for almost an hour. Their laughter filled the summer air. Every time she accidentally stepped on Johnny’s foot he had to tease her and she couldn’t help but to laugh with embarrassment.
“I’m curious,” Johnny started. “What do you wish for every night?”
“It’s a secret!” She answered him in a playful manner. He dramatic sighed, giving a roll of his expressive eyes.
“Okay, okay. I can see there needs to be some sort of negotiation before I can get any information,” he played along.
“What’s your offer?” She asked. He scoffed, a smile forming on his face.
“Is this Deal or No Deal?” He replied.
“What’s that?” She asked with genuine confusion. He laughed at this.
“What about this: I share my wish with you if you share yours first,” he suggested.
She was quite for a moment. She knew it wouldn’t hurt to tell him, it had already come true after all. “My wish was to not be lonely anymore.”
“What?” Johnny asked in disbelief.
“I know, it’s silly-“
“No, I’m just in shock,” he interrupted her. “That was my wish, too.”
The woman froze, bring their dance to a halt. She looked up at him with furrowed eyebrows. How was it even possible that they had the same wish? Maybe Johnny was playing one of his tricks on her. He was quite the mischievous man after all.
“I’m telling the truth!” He assured her. She could tell by the absence of the mischievous glint he got in his eyes when he was being playful that he was being sincere.
“Are you going to go on one of your philosophical rants about how the universe has everything planned out and this was meant to happen?” She teased, in an attempt to lighten the mood again.
His eyes crinkled as his smile lifted his cheeks. “I can.”
She couldn’t help but roll her eyes. Still, a smile stretched across her face. Her hand slipped from his and she found herself wrapping her arms tightly around the man’s broad torso. Johnny looked at the top of her head with admiration in his eyes as she laid her cheek against his chest. He couldn’t see the tears collecting in her eyes, but it didn’t take long for them to start soaking through his shirt.
“Don’t cry,” he told her as his hand lifted and rested against her soft hair. She pulled away just enough to look up at him again. His thumbs were swiping away the tears on her cheeks almost immediately.
“I’m not sad,” she assured him. “Not anymore.”
