Dissolving Ruins
Acid eats through skin sizzling
Bubbling up it rises explosion of puss and mucus poor out
Is this how it will always be?
Hiding under an awning that is melting away....I’m melting away
You see a beautiful home, walls of ivy and stone
No one called it beautiful once it tumbled
it was naive, too open, it was b-r-o-k-e-n
Years later you see the ruin wondered what happened
seeing fantasia in the fallen
There is no beauty after broken
You can replace bricks, build it up until you can call it a home
A home where you are never welcome
You caused the struggles
You played the role in bulldozer
Words on walls no one gets to see
Paint over top...drip drip drip
But it is melting.
