I've realised how much of a waste of time it is to explain the concept of qprs to allos is. Like I've been explaining in a tiktok comment section to one person, and towards the end I just gave and told them to google it, and then a second person comes around asking the same exact questions.

For one, do people not understand the concept of reading other comments/video description before asking? Two, do people not just Google if they don't understand something? I thought that was something everyone did... Is this just turning into a, why don't neurotypicals use common sense thing rather than an allos not understanding qprs thing?

On top of everything I'm pretty sure a lot of arospec people have their own specific things that defines what a qpr is to them, so why not ask person specific questions than questions you can just Google and find the answer to 😭😭😭 and even though I explain what it means to me, they like "isn't that just friendship, isn't that just fwb, etc etc" like you're not even hearing me, so why ask me in the first place if you're not interested in listening, jesus fucking christ

I give up, and refuse to explain anything in tiktok comment sections from now on, even if I do know the answer to questions, cuz it's literally just a waste of time 🙄

enjolras as a cane user

enjolras who should technically use his cane more but feels awkward about it

enjolras whose cane is decorated with queer and cripplepunk stickers

enjolras who should start sitting down during meetings because his legs are shaking too much

enjolras struggling to accept hes disabled

enjolras with a love hate relationship with his disability

enjolras fighting for disabled people's rights yet ignoring hes fighting for his own rights too

enjolras hating how he gets infantilized whenever hes using his cane

enjolras having a bad pain day and trying not to sob in public

enjolras pulling through a protest but needing to rest for several days after because he's hurting too much

enjolras ignoring his body's limits and paying the consequences

but also,

les amis trying to get enjolras to rest more and use his cane more bc he obviously cannot keep going like this

les amis making sure the places they go to have seating so he can rest when he needs it

les amis catching him whenever his legs give out

les amis taking care of him during flare ups

les amis bringing painkillers everywhere and quietly passing them to him when he needs it

les amis helping him decorate his cane

les amis cussing out doctors that refuse to treat him (as doctors do)

les amis helping him up whenever he falls

les amis not loving him in spite of his disability, but loving him with it<3

ok but can anyone else pls think of enjolras with mid to high support needs bc like just think of it,

enj who goes from nonverbal to hyperverbal episodes every few days, so he either Doesnt Speak At All No Matter What or Doesnt Shut Up

enj who can often use an aac to communicate during nonverbal episodes but sometimes not even that

enj who wasnt able to finish highschool even though he was one of the smartest kids in the school

enj who cannot hold a conversation about any topics that arent his interests, no matter how much he cares for the person he's talking to

enj who is always stimming in some way - rocking back and forth, or fidgeting with a stim toy, or tapping on a table, or literally anything

enj who usually has shutdowns but can also have very bad very public meltdowns sometimes (which he feels insanely embarrassed about, no matter how many times hes told its not his fault)

enj who was never able to learn how to walk just right, and so needs mobility aids and/or has a "weird" gait

enj who refuses to eat almost anything because all foods but a select few (~10 or so) give him such bad sensory issues

enj who needs to be told to do every single basic task or he forgets to do them, and therefore cannot live on his own

enj who doesnt really feel his body's cues until it's extremely urgent, which sends him into the verge of a meltdown

enj who is well aware people won't listen to him because hes "too disabled", hating how he will often have to let his friends do the talking instead

enj who resents being unable to fight for the people as much as he would like to (both because of his own inability to do so and the public perception of anyone who's visibly disabled)

enj who knows he only views the world the way he does because of his disability and is grateful for this, but sometimes he wonders how his life would be had he been born "normal"

enj whose friends love and treasure him the same, which they sometimes need to reassure him of because they're the first people to willingly remain by his side

enj whose passion could still move mountains

enj who is still an apollo
