2017 held a lot of Firsts for me. First time meeting up with long distance friends in Disneyland. First time doing planned out (in advance) Disneybounds. First time meeting a famous Youtuber, first time pulling off a cosplay I never thought I’d be able to do. (And later Rapunzel would be a second to this.) First kiss (cosplay, but it was still a kiss.) First Birthday in Disneyland (my twentyFIRST) First legal alcoholic drink, first time Character dining, first time taking my fancy camera beyond my driveway for some photos. First time taking photos of Disney Characters (just the characters) First time dying my hair... I hope that 2018 is filled with lots of new experiences as well, as I love to try new things. Time for Day 2 of the #20daysofcosplay challenge: How many cosplays have you made? Well, after going back through 8 year's worth of pictures, the answer is... 43. Even I didn't realize how many I'd done, and even found some I'd completely forgotten about. 😳 Out of all of these cosplays, only two were purchased as finished, licensed official costumes. The rest were all either handmade by me, sourced, or purchased and altered. Even though a handful are my original designs and maybe technically not cosplay, I'm still kinda amazed at just how much work I've done.
