Ninat the Beyoncé of pandora
i know norm’s got a wife and kids in canon but who gaf about canon. i need a fic of him and ninat nowwww
Imagine an au where Neytiri doesn't fall for Jake and he ends up with another Omatikaya girl. Just Neytiri marrying Tsu'tey and looking at this mf like: 'You need a wife... What about Ninat? She's nice." Jake is heartbroken and solemnly agrees to a date, and Ninat IS great. And while Jake doesn't royally fuck up the Omatikaya's next generation of leaders, he's over in the corner ready to throw hands with any RDA that enters a ten-mile radius of Hometree. Prob still ends up as Toruk Makto tho.
Ninat wakes up to Tanmur curled around him
Ninat was not a heavy sleeper, not anymore. So when he felt Tanmur coming in past his defenses, something he allowed, he ignored it. It was a level of trust that wasn't afforded to everyone.
The only real acknowledgement towards him when he approached was a low chittering. Most, if not well versed in the small bug man, would assume he was giving out a warning. In the case of Tanmur, a creature of sound and familiar with him, he could tell that it was a more welcoming tone under the hints of mild agitation at being woken.
It was a sensation Ninat wasn't used to as much anymore. Open affection with no strings attached to it. Tanmur could curl around him plenty in his large nest. Small tokens that he had given to him in prime pockets within his room. "It's late." A grumbled annoyance, but he ended up getting more comfortable. Gold eyes closing again as his claws curled against him like a flytrap not willing to let him go anytime soon.
