like... I am so stuck in my western ways and I'm writing about a korean wedding and just now realized, 'oh wait. its prob not like an American wedding at all, let me do some research' WELL into writing my story and.... it really aint like an American wedding 🚶🏾♀️

Wedding Planner AU
Damen and Jokaste are getting married and hire a wedding planner. It's Laurent. Jokaste spirals into bridezilla territory. Damen is stressed and talks to Laurent about it. Damen doesn't understand why Jokaste won't hear any of his suggestions about the wedding. Laurent is a very good listener. Laurent ends up getting fired. Damen asks why and Jokaste simply says Laurent wasn't cutting it. Damen calls Laurent later and finds out that Laurent questioned why the bride was excluding the groom in the decision making so thoroughly when it was the groom's family paying for everything. Damen and Jokaste fight about that. The wedding is called off. Damen calls Laurent because Nik won't understand why he's so upset. Nik never even liked Jokaste. Laurent is much more understanding. Laurent deals with called off weddings all the time. But first and foremost he asks Damen if Damen is calling him to get the wedding called back on, or to be a shoulder to cry on.
Damen kisses him.
