Damn I love you, Minecraft men who get progressively more morally ambiguous as they go, not because the narrative is changing them, but because it was digging up some past monster that they'd tried to bury. I love you, characters who are a direct contradiction to themselves and everything they stand for. I love you, characters who take oaths, and break oaths, and torture themselves over which was the right thing to do. I love you, characters that swore to protect and care for the people around them and have a kill count longer than their sword-arm. I love you, soldiers that only know how to destroy, despite desperately trying to fix everything. I love you, fighters who were taught to give their lives to protecting other people so much that they don't feel like a person themselves anymore. I love you, characters who are reaching their hands out to other characters- kind, gentle, soft hands that are covered in blood.
