non-sam and sam quasic/mspec cenelian flags as a base for a request!

the first flag, the dusk quasic [pt: dusk quasic /end pt] flag, is for mspec cenelians who do not use that label as a way to describe split attraction. similar to the non-sam lunian and non-sam solian flags, i took inspiration from the top stripes of the quasic flag for this flag, thus emphasizing indigo and red.

the second flag, the dawn quasic [pt: dawn quasic /end pt] flag, is for mspec cenelians who do use that label as a way to describe split attraction. similar to the sam lunian and sam solian flags, i took inspiration from the bottom stripes of the quasic flag for this flag, thus emphasizing yellow.

Stop telling people they're not allowed to tag their posts as "aromantic" or "asexual" or "aroace" because you have decided that their personal experiences have nothing to do with what they've tagged their own post.

You are not the arbiter of what aromanticism and asexuality "really" mean. They mean different things to every person who experiences them.

You do not get to force your arbitrary definitions of what an aromantic or asexual or aroace experience "really is" onto anyone else.

Stop trying to exclude people from the literal gods damned terms that represent the entire community because you think they don't fit into your arbitrary definitions enough to be allowed in.

If you hate the diversity of experiences in the aromantic and asexual communities, you have a personal problem you need to deal with. And you do not get to exclude anyone else because of it.

The split attraction model is not mandatory.

Stop erasing and speaking over non-SAM aros aces and aroaces. You literally do not get to define our experiences for us.

Stop excluding people from the community for failing to live up to your arbitrary and strictly defined definitions.

Exclusionism will never help anyone.

So many people in the aro communities will say

"don't just assume that aro= aroace! Alloaros and non SAM aros exist!" (correct)

but then proceed to assume ace= alloace.

Like no, never having a crush on anyone can still be an ace experience actually, because non-SAM aces exist. And I hate how SAM using aros act like non-SAM aro means basically an alloaro who doesn't label their sexual attraction. That's not what my identity means actually! I am an user of only "aromantic" and no other label, because I don't experience attraction towards people regardless of gender and I am romance repulsed. I also can't separate my lack of attraction into sexual vs romantic vs other forms of attraction (hence non SAM user). I am not allosexual-lite just because I don't identity as asexual. Stop pretending as if I am challenge! I feel like I have more in common with non-SAM aces than aroallos or aroaces, despite being aro but not ace. That's why I hate how so many people in the aro communities act like non-ace aros don't/can't have anything in common with asexuals at all. That just feels kinda aphobic towards people like me tbh

I'm a SAM user so I can't really make comments about this ask but I want to share as a form of support because it genuinely is frustrating to see non-sam aspecs get thrown under the bus so often in favor of the weird separatism that's been happening amongst the community recently. You all deserve so much more respect and acknowledgement than you get.

Dissocia-

When dissociation and a lack of self impact your attraction and ability to experience it fully, and/or lack of presence in your body making it harder to identify if you are experiencing attraction or to identify what kind.

When your dissociation makes you so separate from your experiences you cannot understand relations to others.

MEANING:

Green Stripe - to represent aromanticism and the impact on romantic attraction Grey Stripe - the haze of dissociation (the impact to make it more difficult to experience things fully) Blue Stripe - to represent aplatonicism and the impact on platonic attraction Grey Stripe - the haze of dissociation (the impact on self awareness and identity) Purple Stripe - to represent asexuality and the impact on sexual attraction Grey Stripe - the haze of dissociation (the impact on your awareness of differences of your attraction, relations, or things around you)

All colors are desaturated to emphasize dissociation and the feelings of being out of it/not fully experiencing everything.

It is funny how everything is fluid and acceptable in the aspec community except using aro and ace interchangeable. Grey folks can use aro/ace labels even tho they do experience little attraction. But except when I use ace or aro as umbrella term for both aro/ace, there are tons of people to say that it is not the correct definition. I am begging the aspec community to start accepting and normalising aro/ace folks who don't experience any attraction and doesn't use SAM. I need not get the definitions correct unless I am educating someone.
