you don't have to be happy all the time, you're entitled to feel sad and scared and lost. don't put that much pressure on yourself and don't let society convince you you're only valid when you're happy and stable. you're only human and there's so much a body can handle. give yourself a break!

Ok, Fears?

I wonder that our 'Fears' never really go away, they just lose their power over us.

Through our progress & development, self-help training, they start to affect us for a less time, but they are still there.

We sometimes feel them but they go away eventually and don't bother us for long time periods.

We considered them as negative and positive based on how they affect us but in reality, there is no such thing as positive and negative.

They simply are the things happening, our mind associates it with positive and negative based on how we perceive them and experience them, how they affect us.

We realize this at the end, when all such things no longer matter or carry any meaning or intrinsic value for us.

My OFMD Blackbeard cosplay plans

Writing them down helps with the good ‘ole adhd.

So I’m working on my Blackbeard cosplay, because despite the movie Blackbeard’s Ghost being my favourite childhood movie for the last three decades; it has taken seeing Taika Waititi in his pirate road warrior outfit to make me actually cosplay as the character.

I’m starting with the jacket as I think that’s going to be the key costume piece. I’m bidding on a couple of second hand leather jackets on eBay right now. I want the total jacket cost to come under £10 for materials so this might take some time to find.

However I can sew and I’ve worked with leather before so I should be able to remove the right sleeve and use that material to make the shoulder paldron perhaps reinforced with plastic to make it stand up?

I’ll definitely need to buy a leather needle as I do not have one. Ed’s jacket has shark teeth adornments and silver bits. Can get the stud machine thing cheap enough to do that, though I would be afraid of loosing real shark teeth so might make from fimo.

Would probably just use cotton trousers instead of leather, but dress them with studs etc. knee brace will have to go on my right knee instead of left, because that’s literally my bad knee.

Purple undershirt and black scarfy thing should be cheap enough to get second hand or from primark.

Wondering if you can get a custom fake tattoo sleeve printed? Or I can paint on with fabric paint. Note to self buy body stocking fabric.

Will use greasepaint beard and talc in hair.

Will need one gun and one knife, like everybody else.
