What traits are considered positive in this setting? What does the society prefer on large?

Is optimism or realism viewed as the better trait to have? Do they value book skills or trade skills more? Is it better to be sweet or sassy? Is physical strength valued more, or strength of will? Is it seen as better to have a leader or a follower mentality?

Perhaps they are seen as equally important traits.

Contrasting traits can be valued equally, such as logic and empathy. On the other hand, your setting may pick one to love and one to loathe. Which is it? Why?

Are the desired traits different for men and women?

What does the ideal citizen look like vs the undesirable citizen? How is the ideal citizen treated vs the undesirable? The same, or oceans apart?

B: Your twenty-something adoptive son is old enough to understand. Heck, he'd probably be the first to push you towards a love-life.

A: What about... uh...

B: Running out of excuses?

A: Maybe...? Uh, what about my cat...?

B: Let me know when your date is, I'll help you pick an outfit.

Prompts Based Off My Stories #65

Each has a different motif, unique inhuman features, and individualized powers. The warrior had fought several, freeing them from the magic that bound them.

The musician, the archer, the gardener, and a few others had all been returned to a mostly human state. Their minds had been returned to full consciousness. They'd found a place in the nearby community, despite any changes in the world since they'd been changed.

The warrior didn't know what powers this one would have. Somehow, a castle materializing out of nowhere wasn't making it any more clear.

A strong, paper scented breeze blew past, causing the world to ripple and shift into a scenic autumnal forest.

The warrior could already tell this one was going to be interesting.

A: "Sorry, me and my friends have been a lot of places and encountered a lot of races, but we just can't seem to figure out what your race is. Would you mind telling me?"

B: *quietly* "You can't figure it out because you don't realize dragons are people like the werefolk."

A: "Huh?"

B: "You can't figure it out because I'm half-orc and half-dragon-blessed-human. I'm not many generations back from the gift. One of my parents received it from one of the last dragons."

Actually, my parent is one of the last full dragons, B thinks as the stranger oohs over the wings. Dragon-blessed is just code for dragon in humiform. I have no human in me at all.

Most of us fight in our own way to do what's right. Don't judge my whole world on the actions of a few bad apples. I don't judge your whole world by your bad apples. Fair?
