Ocean Trout and herb omelette, house-marinated feta, mixed herb salad; aud22.50 from Isle of Voyage, Elizabeth Quay. For those who don’t know, this is the heritage looking building located on the island in the middle of the Quay. To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive about visiting this venue due to the savage reviews on Google and Zomato. Thankfully the food was quite good and not as bad as expected from reading those reviews. Perhaps we came on a good day and those reviews were on a ‘off’ day. Either ways, bad reviews are really damaging to businesses and I always try to speak to restaurants directly about any bad experiences before making it public as I do know the consequences it can bring. Glad to have tried this place and I would be quite happy to bring visitors here for brunch to soak in the amazing restaurant interiors and beautiful views of our city skyline whilst eating fresh, quality produced food.
