Today's lunch: Bison burger w/ 1 tsp mayo & red pepper flakes Sautéed zucchini Blueberries I need to stop working out before lunch cause then I'm not hungry 😨
Weekly Round Up! 7/20-7/25
Hi Hi!
So I’m going to do these posts every week for updates.
I’m SO HAPPY BECAUSE I LOST 3 POUNDS! EPPP. Hardwork can pay off. Right now I’m still doing Paleo with a few cheats here and there. Like yesterday when I got Taco Bell (make anything Fresco and it is actually healthier).
I’ve been doing sworkit daily, and drinking 80-90 ounces of water a day!
A few things I’ll be make next week are Paleo Sloppy Joes and Black Bean Soup (my own recipe, I’ll be sure to post soon!). I usually like to focus on two meals that I can eat off during the week. I also buy veggies, fruits, beans, and morningstar frozen foods to eat for lunch during the week!
Don’t give up, success is ahead!

Update!
Haven’t lost a pound, sigh.
However, I’m turning over a new leaf!
I’m drinking more water everyday (at least 8 glasses), I hardly drink water just cause I don’t get thirsty, but I’m forcing myself. I aim for 10 cups a day.
My downfall is my sweet tooth. I’ve discovered Blue Diamond Over Roasted Dark Chocolate almonds and 24 nuts is 160 calories, so yay! Something I can get behind :)
I also have been doing work outs on the sworkit app daily. I try to do it once a day, but if it’s a good day, I do it twice!
I also am doing a buns, guns, and abs challenge I found on pinterest, so hopefully that will help me tone!
My goal is to be 10-12 pounds down in the next 4-5 weeks cause I’m going on vacation, and I want to buy some new clothes, in my old size of a 10 or an 8.
HERE WE GOOOO.

HOW I'VE CHANGED MY DIET
My diet has never been high in sweets or sugary drinks, but it has always been high in starchy carbs.
To eliminate the starchy carbs from my body for a period of time, and speed up my metabolism, I have gone on the "cave man diet." This means you eat things only the Pro Magnons had available to them. The diet does call for no diary, but I do eat cheese. I try to focus on eating only brown rice, quinoa, whole grain bread, or spaghetti squash. I try to only have one serving of starchy carbs a day.
I find myself eating mainly this:
Breakfast Protein Smoothie. You can find the recipe here.
Lunch
I try to do a protein, a veggie, and a fruit.
Snacks Any kind of fruit Carrots with hummus Nuts (NOT peanuts), sunflower, or pumpkin seeds
Dinner Protein and lots of VEG! So something like chicken, sweet potatoes, and squash, or beans and squash with brown rice.
