Darkrai hero

Thanks to Darkrai’s interferences, EoS Protagonist becomes a Darkrai themself.

To differentiate themself, the Protagonist would use more “proper” Darkrai sprites-as in, blackish-gray instead of Not-Shiny (AKA Weirdly Purple) like PMD Darkrai does.

The game is tweaked a bit (Partner having nightmares they eventually find comforting, because it means Hero is by their side), some initial prejudice before they find Hero is actually nice, Dusknoir acting weirdly suspicious, Grovyle mistaking Hero for the actual culprit, and so on. (Also, everyone in the Dark Future is either hyper-aggressive, or almost submissive and borderline worshipping Hero. It’s extremely creepy.)

The Post-game is likewise changed to accomodate this. (Player is at first worried they’re responsible for Azurill’s Dream. “Cresselia” acts weird around you. The actual Cresselia acts really weird around you. Palkia has increased hostility. And so on.)

Darkrai is is amused and concerned by this turn of events. However, as the exchange goes on, he starts to express something like jealousy. Darkrai may try to claim otherwise, but he’s jealous of the Hero for actually managing to find friends and become happy-something he thought was impossible for his species even before he turned evil.

brienne and davos running a ~kids who don't fit in ~ home marketing it as ~we'll give your high born kids a Proper Purpose~ but rlly they give the kids some affection, cuz that's what they need and then help them out nicely; example candidates: arya who's instantly smitten with brienne and she's not Great at Etiquette+Fashion TM but she handles the basics for arya without belittling her and constant ugly comparisons + indulges are "dancing" lessons; sam sent by randyll to ~become a man~ but davos and brienne help him get access to libraries and maesters; plenty of high born bastards make it to the home, including mya and gendry and jon and they're not misfits in the traditional sense but they just get a lot of therapy re: abandonment issues. (theon also shows up at some point)

sansa makes a stop later in life post-joffrey cuz worldview is shaken and brienne and her bond over songs and she regains some faith in the stories cuz davos and brienne are both also knights and they're lovely? (some time in there she runs into sandor uwu)

jaime comes by not for himself (i am perfectly well-adjusted thank you very much) but maybe tommen could do with some help, he's dealing with a lot of trauma about cersei and joffrey and he's a sweet boy really, and who's this strong wench with the amazing blue eyes???

shireen doesn't need it rlly but she helps out cuz she's fun like that and she likes hanging out with davos and brienne and the misfit kids, especially sam with the books and one time some asshole visitor made a snide remark about stannis and the ugly daughter and arya plays an elaborate prank to get back at them cuz no one's insulting her sweet friend in her hearing.
