Not an ask, but I just wanted to pop in and commend you on the work you're doing. I see you complaining about how long writing is taking you due to work and things like that, but please remember that you're approaching half-a-hundred chapters, comprised of your own dialogue and unique characterisations and largely your own plots as well. Just so incredibly talented and admirable. Here are some pretty flowers for you ahahhahah

Dealing with the fun aftermath of having been fired from a job I've been at for 6 years because my disability and chronic pain only kept getting worse the more and more I stayed on my feet for 8+ hours a day.

So naturally, I started looking for something remote on LinkedIn for either pharmacy technician (what I had done for years now in retail pharmacy as income) or a writer (my actual passion the the steady income afforded me the ability to passively pursue)

Except every other fucking writing job offering really good hourly rates, is EXPLICITLY to train generative AI.

I checked out easily a dozen jobs that all included "training AI programs" as a job description for creative writers.

I am sick and tired of people incapable of writing their own emails or experiencing creative joy in the slightest, trying to literally use writers to remove their own jobs.

I'm getting to the point that anybody who uses generative AI constantly is getting cut off from my life if they can't respect the environment, my career, or themselves that deeply. It's just absurd now.

Sorry for the long rant, but that was a boiling over point to a shitty couple weeks and I needed to scream into the void.

" I was a rebel before they existed and still one after they were gone."

One has a place one doesn't, but I like them both and thought I'd share with the wider world
