Oneshots/Spinoffs
List for oneshots from my slowburn FratKuna! Fanfic.
Please note: Sukuna may appear slightly OOC in this oneshot.
This portrayal is specific to my university AU and reflects a deeply established dynamic between him and the main character.
If he seems unusually restrained or respectful, it is intentional and rooted in their shared history, which is explored in the main story.
No Room for Comparison
I don’t post about it much but I’m a really big Oneshot fan. I would put down my life for Niko Oneshot any day of the week.
📢 Announcement!
Now that You Belong To Me has officially come to an end, I’m going to spend some time catching up on all the requests that have been sitting in my inbox for the past two months.
I’ll also be writing a few of my own ideas that I’ve been wanting to bring to life for a while.
Once I’m done with those, I’ll be starting a brand new series.
Thank you for being patient with me and supporting me always.
More content coming soon ✨
Dw!! I shoulda worded that better mb! 💗
I pictured like all of them being at the ball’s and stuff, and everyone keeps catching those two giving each other death stares-
(I don't know why I wrote a short scene about your ask, Anon, but I had so much fun with it during lunch break!)
-
The second reason why Dolion makes for a good captain is because of his skills with a sword and his unrelentless, near unhinged drive to cut his foes into blood pieces on the battlefield.
The first reason?
He can smell bullshit a mile away.
No matter how often that expensive perfume spritzed on the burgundy letter in his mailbox.
See, any machinations designed by the Imperial Baroness of House Anesidora will inevitably serve a purpose to the woman in charge.
Always.
Truly.
And sooner or later, it would reveal itself.
Dolion just didn't expect that it would manifest in the form of a random ass ball on a random ass Thursday evening. He remembered nothing about attending balls and parties for nobles and their ilks when he signed up for the military!
"Dad, quit scowling or you're gonna look uglier."
"And in 20 years or so, you're gonna look the same when you'll inevitably be forced to attend a fancy-ass party like this by the twins. And be nice to your old man, damn it."
Silas, his accidental pride and joy and the bane of his secret, midnight sweet stashed, rolled his eyes with every judgemental drip that only a 13-year-old could dish out. Despite the attitude, Dolion can't help but ruffle his son's hair fondly at how adorable he looks in his 3-piece suit and bow tie. Penguins envy his son.
Although the Baroness' letter served as an invitation to tonight's party, Dolion knew that she would accept nothing but his and his son's presence, or else the next few days would be very difficult for the good Captain.
So the two went on an impromptu shopping trip (wasn't it nice that he received a fat bonus alongside his usual salary the day after the letter came. Hah), bought the appropriate pieces to adhere to a noble's dress code, treat themselves with the remaining amount and now here they are, in one of the many ballrooms in Castin and Celica's mansion, surrounded by friends and families.
And strangely, no one that the Baroness could use as pawns for some political game. Suspicious.
Merriment swept the floor when Dolion and Silas arrived, not too early and not too late that would incite the Baroness' displeasure. Music played by a live band itched feet to the dance floor. Delectables of the Intacian and Imperial kinds laden tables, and kids and their parents from the army are having fun.
Already, Dolion knew this highly informal party was meant to serve a hidden purpose. So he blends in with the wall, watching the crowd with distrustful eyes. He can see the twins - Dain and Deidre - playing with Xavier, the one and only Crown Prince of Intacia.
"Dad. Dad," Silas pipes up, tugging on his coat. Wait, how long has he been pretending to be a statue? "Can I go hang out with Dain? I'm bored."
"Sure, kiddo. Oh! Grab us some plates later while you're at it. Might as well have dinner while we're here. Goddess knows how long Her Most Exalted Grace want us here."
As if ordained by divine graces, or maybe the world just hates Dolion, Celica Anesidora takes the floor in all her red and gold velvet glory - because of course she would be. The music hushed into silence, and conversations stopped. Even the children are fixated on her. Maybe because the gems on her are too shiny.
"Welcome, honoured guests! For those who terribly wonder why this party is happening —" Here, the Baroness paused, and Dolion could've sworn that she was looking at him. What an annoying, infuriating— "—let me assure you that tonight is merely a simple gathering for cherished friends and families alike. Castin and I want this night to be for every single person here. So please, help yourself to some food, rest in any of the guest rooms if so wish and most importantly, enjoy yourself!"
The crowd roared. The crowd cheered. The adults were buzzing with excitement, and the kids were eager to explore the grounds.
But Dolion knew that the Baroness wasn't done yet. No, no - he's waiting for grand reveal.
With her arms spread and her smile curled into a smirk - goosebumps ran down Dolion's back - Celica announced, "But before that, let us officially begin with a dance! Would the young Lady Nisha and young Sir Silas lead us?"
And there it is.
Beside him, fear immediately clutched onto his son for the boy hurried to press close to Dolion when all eyes on him. The Captain expected a lot but the fact that the Baroness fucking dares to rope his son - his reason to live - into her schemes goes too far!
"Dad, I-I..."
"You don't have to if you don't want it," Dolion assures him, gripping his shoulder in comfort. "I'll handle this."
Let Castin give him an earful for what he's about to do. Let their men witness how aggressive his steps are.
Celica smirks remain even when Dolion is inches away from her. And when did Castin appear beside his wife? Whatever. He doesn't care that everybody's watching. That he's not hestiating to commit insubordination. No one messes with his son.
"I don't know what you're planning, Baroness, but you've crossed a line." Dolion hisses. "If you think I would be thanking you for whatever it is you're planning, then your head is too far up your ass."
Completely unbothered by his crude words, Celica tuts. "Oh, you'll be thanking me, Dolion. No doubt about that. But for now, why don't you just enjoyed the show?"
"What the hell are you talking - "
"Uncle Dolion?"
Dolion immediately stops. Taking the empty space on the Baroness' left are Nisha and Rex. The father-daughter duo looks right at home at the party. The little girl, with her silver hair and grey eyes, is a spitting image of Rex.
"Kid. Is the Baroness forcing you to dance?"
The little girl shakes her head. "No, uncle. I don't mind, actually. I've been practising with father over these past few days. Silas said he's been practising too. It would make my night if everyone sees how I'm the better dancer between us."
"In your dreams, Nisha! You're always clumsy whenever you wear new shoes and I know for a fact that you bought those stupid heels just for this party!"
Wait.
"I won't! You're just being stupid again, Silas!" The girl bristles, her face reddening with embarrassment. "I'll show you. I won't step on your foot even once!"
Is this -
"Oh yeah? Prove it!"
"Fine, I will!"
The Baroness snap her fingers, and the music resumes. The crowd parted ways so the two preteens could have the stage all for themselves. And it didn't take long for his son and Rex's daughter to orbit each other, carefully sway while watching their feet and arguing under their breath.
Huh.
Dolion knew that Silas and Nisha have proclaim to everyone within hearing distance that they are bitter enemies is everything and anything but looking at them now...
"I thought you were sick of playing matchmaker?" Dolion asks as everyone entertain themselves, leaving him and the Baroness and Commander to converse in peace.
"I know, right!" Castin beam. Ah, no wonder he didn't throw the first punch. It makes sense that he knew what his wife was planning. "The twins couldn't stop sharing with us about the two."
"And y'all plan a whole ass ball for it. Seriously?"
"Don't be daft, Dolion, Well, try not to be more than usual. I never need a reason to throw a party. Your son and Rex's daughter - why, I'm merely nudging fate along."
"As long as you're not using him. Rex! You cool with me being your in-law?"
"As long as Nisha doesn't pick up anymore of your bad habits..."

You believed you had made it pretty obvious. From the moment you met him in the woods, he was the only one you paid attention to. Others were freaked out by the fact he never left your eyesight—but you didn’t care.
Every time he would speak to you or even look in your direction, you would immediately freeze up. His simple observations of the things you would do made you go crazy.
Hey uh I hope you had a good day today, I’ve never asked but uh can you maybe write about neteyam and fem!reader that grew up with the sullys but never talked or connected to neteyam(if that makes sense) and one day neteyam befriends a girl and the reader becomes jealous because she also wants to be friends with neteyam but doesn’t know how to? Masterlist
...
We've been growing up in the forests of Pandora. Me and my brother Spider were humans, raised my the RDA people. But we were close to the Sully family. My best friend was Kiri. We did everything together, and my brother Spider always joined us.
He had a secretive crush on Kiri, I always teased him about that but he never admitted. Everyday since 16 years, we left in the morning, ran into the forest and came back late. We spend all our free time with the Na'vi and we kinda were part of the Sully family now. The kids loved us, Jake liked us because we shared a human connection to him.
Often, we reminded him of old songs and kept him updated about the happenings on earth. And Neytiri... Well, she tolerated us. She never really liked us, we were vermin to her. But she never scared us away, she knew how much we meant to her kids.
With the age of 14, we got our own Avatar bodies. It was amazing. Suddenly were the same height as them and we could finally keep up when we were running though the trees. We were the closest friends. Spider, Kiri, Lo'ak, Tuk and me.
Neteyam, the oldest Sully kid, rarely joined us. He always went on duty and training with his dad. He was meant to become the next Clan leader, so he had to learn a lot. But even when he joined our adventures, I never really connected with him. We had only spoken like five words or so.
He was the oldest and with that kinda out of my reach. I never really cared about him.
But somehow, in the last few months, I found him more interesting. I wanted to talk to him, but he had never time or just said a few simple words. I wanted to be friends with him, just like I was with Lo'ak. I wanted to get to know him. So I tried to be more in his presence, I sat next to him at the meals and asked him something about the training. But he always seemed distracted.
One afternoon, I saw him going into the village alone. It was my chance to talk to him. I followed him to the river right behind the rocks, that were like a natural border to the village. The last tents and huts were located here and most people that lived here, were fishermen. Neteyam sat at the river bank, his legs crossed.
I sneaked under a massive root, tried not to startle him. I opened my mouth to greet him, but a movement let me stop. The ferns on our right side moved and a Na'vi girl came out into the light. Neteyam jumped on his feet, a smile on his face. The girl grinned and they hugged, like old friends.
I ducked behind the bushes and furrowed my eyebrows. Who was that girl? She was pretty, her black hair was braided into tiny braids that were tucked back on her head. She wore beautiful jewellery and a feather necklace around her neck.
They behaved like best friends, Neteyam laughed about something the girl said. I felt a small stitch in my chest. How could she be friends with him? I wanted to be friends with him. How did this happen, he saw me everyday not her.
I closed my eyes, wanted to leave, when the wind turned. I could hear them talking.
"... with Y/N?"
Me? I looked up. Why were they talking about me?
Neteyam shrugged and huffed, like she made a joke.
"Nothing. I tried to talk to her yesterday, but Lo'ak messed it up and interrupted me."
The girl laughed. "Typical."
"And I don't even know what to talk to her", he said.
I hesitated, I didn't want to eavesdrop, but they talked about me. And was that right - he wanted to talk to me?
"Well you know her basically your whole life, I thought she was something like part of your family.", the girl said.
"Something like that, I don't know." Neteyam rubbed his arm with one of his hand. He seemed confused and lost. What the hell was happening here?
"Why don't you talk with Kiri about it?"
Neteyam laughed. "Kiri is her best friend! She would tell her!"
"Maybe that wouldn't be so bad", she teased him. His eyes went up to hers, anger was in his face.
"Cousin!", he hissed. "One word and I will kill you!"
He chuckled and raised both hands. "Nete! You should tell her what you feel! Just tell your Yawnetu (loved one)"
He wanted to hit her at the head but she ducked away.
I thought I didn't hear right. Cousin!? Yawnetu. What? My head was spinning and I felt dizzy. Did he had a crush on me!? He didn't even know me.
"I don't even really know her.", Neteyam murmured. The girl rolled her eyes. "Nete, you're always so clever but with girls you're really..." She shook her head and chuckled."Just talk to her!"
"About what?"
She shrugged. "I don't know, anything. Just get to know her. And maybe she will like you as well." He looked to her, hope shimmered in his eyes. "You think?"
"I don't know a single person, who doesn't like you, Cousin."
He smiled, slightly embarrassed. "I could ask her about the humans. You know, I always wa to to see their new base. Dad wanted to show me but he always forgets. Maybe Y/N can show me around." He shrugged.
She smiled a warm smile and put a hand on his shoulder. "That's a good start. I believe in you. You will do great."
"Thank you. Really. I didn't know who else I could talk to if not with you."
"You're welcome."
The girl got up. "I have to go, Mother wanted me to watch over the Skihiltom kids." She rolled her eyes.
Neteyam smirked. "Greet them from me." He also got up and they hugged. "I will", she said. "And you will keep me updated about Y/N, you promise?"
He chuckled. "I will."
"Kìyevame (see you soon)"
"Bye", Neteyam raised his arm for goodbye and left the river.
My head felt dizzy. What did I just saw? He came directly in my direction and it brought me back, out of my thoughts. He mustn't see me!
I startled and got up. Hasty I looked around and hid behind a large tree. My heart beat fast. I heard him walking by, humming a small melody. His feet almost making no noise on the ground. When he was gone, I carefully looked behind the tree.
I could not believe what just happened. He had a crush on me! He wanted to be friends with me!
A smile appeared on my face and a burst of energy rushed through my body. I needed to go back! I jumped onto the pathway and walked light-feeted back to the glade where the Sully family lives.
I didn't notice, I was humming the same melody as Neteyam earlier.
