Self-care issues [rated T] Ace & Marco, Ace & Deuce

As he came back from a mission, Deuce noticed he didn't see Ace around, nor could anyone confirm the black-haired man went to the informary, if just to make sure everything was alright. Deuce, as the person on board the Moby Dick that knows just how strange Ace's coping mechanisms are, goes in search of his former captain, to make sure the man was indeed unharmed from his first mission as a Whitebeard Pirate.

New World [rated G] Luffy & Ace & Sabo

Is it a new World because some people aren't in it anymore, or is it the New World as in a new adventure laying ahead for them. My reflection on Luffy and the Straw Hats entering the world - finding that the New World has quite a lot to offer them, even a reunion with those already behind the veil.

A New Beginning [rated T] Shanks/Makino, Roger/Rouge, Rayleigh/Shakky, Zoro/Sanji, Nami/Vivi, Franky/Robin, Luffy/Law, Koala/Sabo, Marco/Ace

After finding the One Piece and finding out it grants him a wish, Luffy wants to wish everyone of his Nakama back. However, it can't do that - so he chooses the next best thing, a chance at a new beginning in the next life.

A modern AU where Luffy's nakama remember when they meet him, or anyone else that remembers. Giving them all a new chance at what didn't happen the first time around.

Captivity [rated T] Ace & the Whitebeard pirates

Ace's thought process as he sits in Impel Down waiting his execution. Both the literal way of captivity, but also mind-wise, as his self-worth issues try to make him think he deserves this, and everyone would be better off without him there.

Kind of, or attempt at, character study of Portgas D. Ace.

Firecracker love confessions [rated E] Marco/Ace

Ace was normally so outspoken and loud, always knowing what to say. Except when, or after, he confessed. Luckily, words aren't always needed when conveying a message.

Touch starved [rated T] Luffy & Ace & Sabo

For a tactile person such as Luffy, who loved having older brothers to hug and cuddle and be around 24/7, no one knew what 3 years whitout, except the odd hug from Makino, would do to the future Pirate King. How would Luffy react to having people around him aal the time, when he forgot what that feels like.

Fix it: Luffy's use of the One Piece [rated T] Luffy & Ace & Sabo

My own interpretation of what 'One Piece' could actually be and how Luffy would use it. After all, Luffy's biggest wish would be to seal the seas with his Nakama, until all their dreams are accomplished.

I use my One Piece to go back, with all my Nakama, and our memories; to be able to save Ace and sail the seas together with, and until all the dreams of, my Nakama are fulfilled.

Ace liked, no, loved being on the Moby Dick, even more so now that he was commander of the second division and could spend a lot of time doing what he loved doing, navigating.

Only this slight crush on Marco was going to pose a problem, as he had no idea the man liked him back, or if he was imagining things. It was not like he was good enough for a man like Marco.

Under the sea [rated T] Luffy & Ace & Sabo

The sea is seen by many as a surface of water that carries them places, but the Sea sees those on her surface as those that love her, and some she loves back, just that little bit more. She had her favourites, but it took a while before she had a King, and now she'll do anything to protect her little King, as well as the two princes he calles brother.

Summary:  Nami never thought “freedom” would be a word she could associate with herself. If Luffy defeats Arlong… No, when Luffy defeats Arlong, could she truly be free then? For once, she let herself think that maybe, yes. She would finally be free.

AO3 Collection is open

We’re already 2 weeks into the One Piece Bingo, and we’re happy about the great response and all the signed up participants!

It’s finally time to start posting your works, if you already started working on those prompt fills. Posting is open from today and all the way until the end of the event on February 1st. 

A few notes about the AO3 Collection:

you can find it under op_bingo2020

the title is One Piece Bingo 2020/2021

this collection is moderated, so stories will only be accepted into the collection once finished 

for multichapter stories, you can add it to the collection with chapter 1 so you don’t have to worry about it later and we’ll keep an eye on the completion status

the admin will be going through the collection and approving finished stories around 2 times a day, so don’t worry if it doesn’t pop up immediately

obviously, it goes without saying that you have to be signed up and have a bingo card issued by us to be a part of this collection

[Writer spotlight] Bingo! (no.2) Lerya

Next time I'll take the time to see who I'm making food for... [rated M] Ace/Marco, Thatch&Izou

Thatch was moving in with Izou, and had asked Ace to move into his old appartment with his older brother. After all, Marco worked too long shifts at the hospital and needed someone to live with him so he had actual food instead of only take out. Meanwhile, Ace needed a place to stay now that he had secured himself a spot at the Grand Line City firebrigade.

I wish I told you, instead of getting hurt [rated M] Marco/Ace

Going on a mission together was a mistake, getting stuck in a closet together only made it worse - worse enough that both of them assumed the worst about the whole situation. Luckily both of them have a support system that make them see sense in all of this.

At least we're together again [rated M] Luffy&Strawhat Pirates, Luffy & Ace & Sabo (major character death)

I ripped my heart out writing this role reversal, where it is Ace that loses his memories, and Sabo that gets executed at Marine Ford. I tried to give it a happy ending, but I'm not sure I succeeded.

If you try, you can fit in wherever you want [rated G] Nami/Vivi, Zoro/Sanji, Luffy & Ace & Sabo

Luffy had no idea what he wanted to do with his life, both his brothers had plans for the future and acted on them.

But he had no idea what he wanted, until he finds a sad man looking at a building set for demolishion, and buys it, renovates it, and makes it his own - Thousand Sunny cafe.

Meeting the right people at the right time lets him know he made the right choice and helps him find his path in life anyway.

I want to stay, but I'm scared... [rated M] Marco/Ace

One morning Ace wakes up somewhere entirely else then where he fell asleep. This wouldn't be that much of a deal, until he recognized just where he woke up, as well as Sabo telling him of how you switched with your soulmate at one point after meeting them. He really didn't need another reason to stay on the Moby Dick, especially not a soulmate that was a permanent feature there, he was after all sure he wouldn't be allowed to stay when they found out THAT.

Missing you, hurts so much [rated T] Luffy & Ace & Sabo (major character death)

A character study of what would have gone through the minds of Ace, Luffy and Sabo, just after Marineford. With one dead, one terrible injured and one only just remembering what he's lost, all the while two of them think their two brothers are dead.

And suddenly I realised, I love you. [rated T] Koala/Sabo

When Koala walked into the kitchen, dressed in nothing but her PJ's, clutching a cup of coffee, Sabo suddenly realised she was the most beautiful person he knew - and subsequently realised he had been in love with her, for A VERY LONG TIME. Que him trying to tell her, without actually telling her (because what could go wrong there).

We’re now in the final month of the event so make sure you add your finished stories to the AO3 collection (op_bingo2020). The final master post for fics will be based on the AO3 collection, so if you don’t have an AO3 account you can DM us for an invite (or provide us with a link to where your fic is posted).

Just to make sure we don’t miss any works, we will be sending an email to all participants nearing the deadline.
