The actual concept for a dark ride where you’re outrunning the paparazzi got canned when Princess Diana died (seriously), so they panicked and slapped together the worlds worst, cheapest looking ride full of inside jokes that you’ll only get if you live in LA. There’s a commercial for California Adventure where some actors go on it, and have to pretend it was a good ride. What a snapshot in time."

Flight of the Bumblebees by Matt Walker Via Flickr: The Orange Stinger attraction at Disney's California Adventure used to feature rubberized bee "butts" on each of the attraction's swings. A nice Disney detail that was unfortunately eliminated.
