Carnal - True Blasphemy (2002, Goregiastic Records)
Ever since I woke up from my orchidectomy, I've been thinking really hard about whispering dissenting thoughts into the ears of others. I'm sure it's nothing, and such thoughts would've crossed their mind eventually.
I'm just helping them out.
...for the good of the realm.
You'll create nothing more from this pan : Pancreatectomy :: You'll hide nothing more from this orc : Orchidectomy
I am struggling so hard
help autocorrect stop doing that
Hello :) My name is Michel and I'm a transgender woman and this is my situation. So unfortunately it has become rather complicated for me to
Hey followers, if anyone can help out my friend, they are a very sweet girl who is struggling tk afford the costs associated with an orchidectomy right now. If you could donate or signal boost this, I know she would deeply appreciate it!
CW: incisions / graphic images . . . So apparently I blew out my cauterizing; have some internal bleeding and blood clots: amounting in some pretty colourful bruising i won’t show. It feels like mike Tyson punched me in the groin! That should heal on its own with time I guess! My incisions are looking good though! 😁 I’m proud to see that! 🖤 #firstsurgery #orchidectomy #inguinalorchiectomy #orchi #orchiectomy #orchiectomysurgery #thisiswhattranslookslike #transisbeautiful #truetranssoulrebel #girlslikeus #transgirl #transwomenofinstagram (at Edmonton, Alberta) https://www.instagram.com/p/BxiiPcDHoT5/?igshid=rc29hxqaxb29
If you’ve had ovaries/testes removed, would your hormone levels need to be in a “typical” range to prevent loss of bone density? Or could you potentially have them removed and then stay on a low dose of a hormone, so that you have less drastic changes, but still protect your health? And if that would work, could you switch between T and E every few years so that you never really “finish” a transition?
I’m not sure there’ve been any studies on someone who has alternated hormone therapy to modulate the effects. That theoretical person might be risking the highest level of risks of heart attack, stroke, heart disease, high blood pressure, liver disease as both estrogen treated people and testosterone-treated people. Generally, the recommendations are to stay at in a typical dose (some doctors are fine if your numbers are “normal” other doctors want them “normal for your age” which might be in the higher end of normal if you’re in your 20s and much lower if you’re in your 50s). If you find a doctor who wants them “normal for your age” you might search around for one who is fine with them just being near the cutoff of “typical.” you might also find that once you’ve had surgery, your dose needs will change to keep those numbers good for you. Loss of bone density isn’t the only risk that you have to watch out for after having your hormone-producing organs removed. they are also protective against various types of cardiac disease (as well as sexual function/satisfaction which might or might not be important to you). mod mayhem
