The scent of orchids is most potent @ sunrise. Orchids actually grow on trees. They don’t extract nutrients from the tree. They have aerial roots that grow around the tree truck & branches rather than burrowing down into the soil. Orchids shouldn’t B kept in direct sun because they can get sunburned.
