mistborn is so great cause u think this heist is gonna take like three books and then suddenly it’s not a heist and they’re overthrowing the government and ur like ok that’s what’s gonna last three books and then ur reading it and it’s moving way too fast and then the lord ruler is dead in the first book and u just resign urself to not be able to predict anything the rest of the series
after jason comes back to the league bruce finds out he’s in gotham but jason doesn’t want anything to do with him. bruce has no fucking clue what to do.
until.
he’s doing a short interview on a red carpet and the interviewer asks him who his fav gotham vigilante is. at first he’s just gonna give some random brucie wayne answer about batman being hot or something but then he has a lightbulb moment.
he then goes on to gush (for far longer than the interview should go on) about how he loves the red hood and what he’s doing for crime alley because that’s the one place wayne enterprises hasn’t been able to make an impact in. he also says he respects him even regardless of the killing because he understands his perspective that killing bad people stops them from hurting people in the future, even if bruce himself doesn’t think killing is right. the entire thing is slightly brucie, but far more bruce than the press generally sees
though he does end it by asking if anyone knows who the red hood’s stylist is because the white streak is just dashing
junior year is my favorite season of fantasy high yet cause it really showcases the fact that the bad kids act exactly how a group of six comedians would act if they somehow got really popular in high school
my biggest aftg head canon is that andrew is just a silly little guy—like his meds didn’t change his personality he was just more easily distractable and had less of a filter so all the stupid little jokes he made are his own

perhaps the biggest thing i ignore in aftg canon are the heights. and i don’t mean like neil/aaron/andrew cause they’re very short in my head. i mean like kevin/wymack/matt/jean. cause like as someone who has a very tall family and a dad who played d1 football i just cannot see someone who is 6’2 as tall. 6’4 is where i start considering someone tall. like in my head matt is 6’6, kevin is 6’4, wymack is 6’3, and jean is 6’5. wymack was 6’4 back in the day but he’s shrinking. and nothing anyone can do will convince me otherwise
kiyoomi realizes he’s into atsumu when atsumu gets under a low pass to set and his first thought is ‘god i have to hit it from the back’ and it surprises him so much he flubs the spike. atsumu yells at him for it and kiyoomi has some…. interesting feelings about it. he immediately goes home and tells motoya he’s in love with miya
gorgug’s arc is so funny cause imagine freshman year if mary ann called him a loser he would be so upset but now their dynamic is perfect cause he’s learned to not take peoples shit and recognized how cool and important he is and mary ann doesn’t let him get away with shit and knocks him down a peg while also bringing out something authentic in him that’s not just being nice
