ever since you started dating addam, his uncle zettar had quietly disapproved of your relationship. but he hadn't dared speak up against you, until addam announced his plans to marry you

it was supposed to be a happy moment, one where his family congratulates the two of you. but for zettar, it was the moment to finally snap and tell addam that you, a commoner, have no place in this family!

addam remained calm the entire time zettar yelled at him, holding your hand underneath the table and giving it a reassuring squeeze. you almost expected addam to just ignore his yelling and ignore him, but addam was waiting for zettar to exhaust himself, before he snapped back
