June 20, 2017 Hello Bookworms!! My son had tubes put in his ears this morning. I was a nervous wreck. Everything went great though. We came home and took a nap (we woke up at 4 am because he wanted milk and couldn't have any before surgery, he was not happy about that) and now he is in such a good mood. I have noticed he can hear better which is AWESOME!!! We go back next week to check on his ears. . When I was sorted years and years and years ago (I was on the Beta site for Pottermore ages ago) I was a tad disappointed. I didn't know much about Hufflepuff. The house was largely ignored throughout the books, with the exception of Cedric Diggory and his small moment in the sun. . But after going back through the books and really thinking about what it meant to be a Hufflepuff, I saw The Sorting Hat's choice was right. This is my house. And I'm proud to be a loyal, steadfast Hufflepuff. I'm proud to be in a house with creative, smart, talented, and hardworking people who know how to enjoy the small things in life. This is one of my favorite Harry Potter characters. 🦁❤️💛❤️🦁 . Neville Longbottom has been a favorite of mine from the beginning. He was so sweet and earnest. The kind of kid who was always going to have to work hard and be tenacious just to keep up with the others. . He doesn't complain, except maybe to once wonder, "Why's it always me." ❤️ . He is brave even when being courageous will bring him no glory.
