here's the thing tho.... vega isn't wrong.

he starts talking about an alternate universe where demons never came to elegy; there would be no divide bc there would be no human emotions dividing the population and they all fed from one source.

that was what happened during the imperium. now in the regular imp!demon's perspective, you lived an aria. if you didn't speak out against the chorus — if you didn't say anything about the sovereigns, you would live a perfectly normal life.

but if you did, you get booted right out into elegy and experience all the hell that humans were going through. so technically, vega is right. his ideals are true, what he thinks would happen – would happen if you were the type of demon that wouldn't speak out against the chorus. and that's really fucked.... and that's also really cool
