Courtesy of overlapping interests, I have learnt some very... useful information.

Exhibit A:

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, the second game in the Tellius duology, was released in 2007. Relevant to this fact, is that this is the game to introduce the character Yune. More info on her in Exhibit C.

Exhibit B:

Season 1 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, aired in 2010, and the premier of Season 2, which introduced the character Discord, aired in 2011.

Exhibit C:

Yune and Discord are both embodiments of chaos, with Yune being a goddess in it, while Discord is a spirit of it. While both are childish in ways, Yune, probably on account of being from a more serious setting, is more mature in her views on what chaos is.

Conclusion: I can, and am currently planning to, write a fanfic where Yune is Discord's mother, and is very much not pleased with how the draconequus has been abusing his power. This displeasure extends towards Celestia, for thinking that the powers of chaos (change and randomness) can and should be harnessed for 'good'.

I love being multi-fandom. I get to think of crazy shit like this.
