Like basically everyone, probably gastric-brooding frogs, genus Rheobatrachus, famed for raising their tadpoles in their stomachs.

Here's my headcanon take as to why Fred often had Velma go off with Shaggy and Scooby, while he went off with Daphne when the gang split up.

I think it was because Fred knew he could trust Velma to keep Shaggy and Scooby from getting into too many shenanigans.

This is also why I think he went off with Daphne, because she was often getting into trouble as well.

So Fred and Velma essentially are the dad and mom of the gang, and this is why they're my Scooby-Doo headcanon OTP.

Watched Home Alone and Home Alone 2 with my 8 year old... In the second one when the mom is talking to a cop right before she finds him saying Kevin is all alone and deserves to be with his family on Christmas my daughter yells at the tv "JUST STOP GOING ON VACATION!"
