my 24th birthday is later this month (sept. 28th) so i'm hosting a little bonfire/potluck party in my backyard with a "fairy garden party" theme! here are some of the dishes i've thrifted for the potluck table!
they're so gorgeous! my homemade birthday cake will be going on the lovely green & white floral ceramic dish!

I want the 2024 solar eclipse to become a major tumblr event like the Josh Fight or Storm Area 51. I've already started planning my trip to Wapakoneta, Ohio for the eclipse, the birthplace of Neil Armstrong, which by a sheer cosmic coincidence just so happens to fall directly in the center of the path of totality. This could not have been written any more poetically; the Moon is going to pass directly over the childhood home of the first moonwalker.
Almost nobody is talking about this yet. It's an off handed footnote on Wikipedia, a random factoid, but as we get closer to the date of the eclipse I'm sure it'll become public knowledge. I will bet you anything that the town is going to plan an event around the eclipse; Neil Armstrong is their main claim to fame, they have a space museum named after him, there's no way they're gonna ignore the quite literally astronomical coincidence of their location along the eclipse's path.
Neither the town's nor the museum's website say they're planning anything yet, so let me be the first.
