Birthday Fun

Haven't posted in a while! This was so far one of the best birthday experiences I could ask for as a Fallout fan!

My husband took me and our son to Tidewater Comic Con in VA and we had so much fun. Got a lot of goodies to fuel my hyperfixatioins and my it's bag obsession. And I got to meet Paul Eiding from Fallout! I got to share with him my love for the franchise and how my sister got me into playing it when I originally wanted nothing to do with the game. (I was too overwhelmed by open world games) And if it wasn't for my sister and her husband giving me my first copy of Fallout 3 and my Xbox 360, I would not be part of such an amazing community.

In a great way to close the first “Transformers Day”, the official Hasbro Pulse YouTube account have treated us with an interview with Frank Welker & Peter Cullen, the voices of Optimus Prime & Megatron.

This would be the last of the interviews with the voice talent from the Transformers 40th Anniversary Celebration Table. Mr. Cullen and Mr. Welker need no presentation for the Transformers community, being one of the most beloved and respected original G1 voice actors.

The official Hasbro Pulse YouTube account have treated us with an interview with Michael Bell, the voice of G1 Prowl.

Mr Bell is well remembered as Prowl’s voice in the original G1 cartoon, and he also voiced some other Transformers characters like First Aid, Brainstorm, Sideswipe, Swoop, Scrapper and more.

On this 7:12 minute interview, Mr.Bells shares his thoughts about what made G1 so special, his performance as Prowl and other characters and his favorite role, some G1 behind the scenes memories and more!

Following the interview with Gregg Berger, the voice of G1 Grimlock, now we are catching up with another great interview with Dan Gilvezan, the voice of Bumblebee. 

Mr. Gilvezan talks about what makes G1 so special that still brings fans today, the reasons why Bumblebee is so popular, and his experience and special moments working in the original G1 cartoon.

Following the legacy of Chris Latta, G1 Starscream’s voice, Mr. Todaro took the role as the voice of the Decepticon Seeker during Machinima’s Prime Wars Trilogy, Netflix War For Cybertron trilogy, and he was also part of the 40th Anniversary table read.

On this 7:2 minute interview, Mr. Todaro talks about how he prepared and differentiate from the multiple roles he played, what he took from Chris Latta’s original portrayal of Starscream, his best memories, how it feels to be part of the history of Transformers, and his experience during the table read event.

Arif S. Kinchen became part of the Transformers franchise voicing Jazz in the Robots in Disguise 2015 cartoon, and more recently, he took the role as the voice of G1 Jazz in the 40th Anniversary table read.

On this 5:21 minute interview, Mr. Kinchen shares his thoughts about his experience in the table read, his fondest memories of the original G1 cartoon, how he felt working on the franchise and its impact in so many people.

📽️ Tarzan (1999)

I grew up watching and loving this movie. I felt the urge to watch it because I realized I hadn’t seen it in years, and it’s honestly just as good as I remember it being. The highlight of this movie for me, though, is the music. Phil Collins is an icon, and I love all the songs in this movie. This will always be one of my favorite Disney movies.

Sex/nudity: 1/10 (kissing, men in loin cloths, all animated)

Language: 0/10

Violence: 4/10 (quite a bit of fighting for a kids’ movie, blood shown, people shot, people killed by animals)

Overall rating: 8/10
