while the four of pentacles had both a positive and negative side to it, the five is a more negative card. in short, it's an indicator of poverty and a loss of resources. this might be financial, since the suit of pentacles tends to deal in the world of material possessions and your professional life. it doesn't always have to strictly relate to this though, it can also indicate hard times, struggles, and adversity in general, such as illness or loneliness. so yeah, not a great card, but I guess it could always mean that these kind of struggles are in your past and you're moving forward past them? we'll go with that one ☺️
