Minghao's car keys had never turned faster than that night. He regretted not going up and talk to you about what you had said into the mirror, he felt horrible making it worse. The air outside was cold, like it was picking at him. The walk to your door felt like forever, he was scared. He lifted the plant on your window, taking the icy key in his hands, and unlocking the door. He wasted no time, running in with his shoes scattered in the front room, hurrying to yours. As he was calling your name, he found you sitting by the corner of your bed, with your face in your knees, hands gripping your legs, and your body slightly shaking.

"Y/N....." This time, although he had to admit this was one of the most painful things he's witnessed, he was going to do something about it. He came closer to you, and wrapped his arms around your small frame.

You wanted to pull away so badly, but your body was frozen. Minghao felt your skin, and realized how cold you were. He felt cold air rushing on his neck, and turned to see the window open. And after checking, seeing all the windows open. He got you a blanket and returned in a second, after closing out the air. He helped you stand up, as much as you didn't want too, and help you sit on the bed he covered you in blankets, and brought you tissues. He started the heater, even made you tea, your favorite. Once he was finished, he came into your room, hearing the crying noise that he hated so much soften. He walked next to you sitting down on the bed.

"Y/N please don't cry. It's ok."

"It's not ok." You sniffled quietly.

"Why are you-" you stopped mid sentence, only to break into tears again.

"Why did you come?"

He looked at you with a soft face, confusion boiling inside of him. He lifted his hand to your face, and wiped away your tears, even after you tried flinching away, he calmed you down.

"Why wouldn't I come?" He whispered.

"Do you think I don't care about you?" He giggled, making you smile temporarily, as it was music to your ears.

"I think about you every second. I'm always worried about you. Whether you got home safe, whether you stayed up late, whether you skipped meals, or forgot to lock your door.....anything. I just.......really.....really care about you. A lot. And.....I know you don't believe me but... I do love you."

"Minghao...."

"You don’t have to say anything. I know you like me. It's ok. Cause I like you too, so much." Minghao stared at you with heart eyes, his face resting in his hands as he smiled. "And..... if you don't believe me..... I have to make you believe. And I'm not leaving until you do." He pouted momentarily, then stared up again at you with stars in his eyes.

"Don't talk yet. I need to get something."

He rushed out of the room to his car, and grabbed a few bags.

"I brought some food for the sleepover.... and....I um... got this for you."

Minghao pulled a small square out of one of the bags. You took that as a signal to take the small box, as Minghao held it out to you smiling. You couldn't resist smiling as well, when you pulled out a necklace with a beautiful star pattern.

"I know your birthday is next week....but I wanted to give you a bit tonight."

"Its beautiful." You mumbled.

Minghao took this as his chance to lighten the mood. "Like you."

You blushed furiously, staring down at the blankets over you. "stop it." You giggled just enough for him to hear.

"Do you believe me yet?" not true.

"No....."

"Then no. I will never stop.” He smiled at you with the softest expression he’s ever made. 

“Oh... and about earlier....." Minghao readjusted himself so he was closer to your face.

"Those things you said....are not true. I think your beautiful."

He took this as his chance, and quickly kissed you on the forehead, with his soft plump lips.

"Y/N....come here...." He took your hand, not realizing how happy his comments made you, and took you out of your room, and told you to pick a movie.

"Why?"

"Are we not having a sleepover?!? I need to do something in your room, give me a second."

You smiled his way, as he laughed and closed the door. You picked a couple movies, some of Minghao's favorites, and set them out. Minghao opened your door just enough for him to come out, and he made you close your eyes, and pulled you in your room.

"Why are my eyes-"

"Shhhh you'll see."

You heard the lights go off, and Minghao removed his hands from your eyes. Your room was beautiful. It looked like your favorite thing, the galaxy, with so many stars, lighting up your room. It was amazing.

"Oh my gosh. Thank you Minghao, thank you so much." You hugged to boy standing over you, and he hugged back with his warm body. "I-I love.... you."

"I love you too. Now lets get that movie going!" Minghao ran to grab your favorite out of the ones you picked, and make the two of you hot chocolate and popcorn. A terrible night turned into the best one of your life.

Until 10pm you were talking to Jun in Chinese.  You were so nervous.  But Jun made you feel so much at ease.  You were done with your exam at 11:30pm and you called to tell Jun that you’d finished.

“Jun I finished”

“Want to go somewhere with me?”

“I have to take care of Jinbae”

“He can come too”

“I’ll ask him when I get home”

“I’ll be not so patiently waiting for an answer”

“Bye Jun.”

“Bye, Y/n.”

You got home and you saw Jinbae sitting on the couch wide awake.  Surim popped her head from the bathroom.  “Because he decided to take a 4 hour nap and now he won’t sleep.”  “I’m sorry Surim.  I won’t keep you any longer” you said gently knowing she was tired.  “I love you sis” “I love you too”

“Jinbae would you like to go out with me since you don’t want to sleep?”  “Yes mommy I’d love to” Jinbae said as he hugged your torso.  “Where are we going” He asked “It’s a surprise” You said in a teasing way but in all honesty you didn’t know where you guys were off to.

You and Jinbae walked to the fountain and you guys saw Jun standing there.  Much to your surprise he ran over to Jun and hugged his legs.  Jun let out a breathless laugh with a small smile.  “Where are we going” Jinbae said in excitement.  “Do you like stars?” Jun asked “I love stars” Jinbae replied with a big grin “Good, because we are going to a hill top to see the stars up closer”Jun said “YAYYYYYYYYYY” Jinbae said with excitement.  Jun laughed “Baby don’t be so loud some people are trying to sleep”you said in a whisper.  “Sorry mommy” Jinbae said in an apologetic voice.  You smiled at him letting him know that you forgave him.

“Can we go now” Jinbae asked to Jun “of course” Jun replied.  Jun picked up Jinbae and you walked beside Jun to the destination.

You got there and you saw a bag.  “What’s that?” You asked Jun “A blanket, water, and some snacks” Jun replied.  “Wow.” you said. Jun put Jinbae down and spread out the blanket.  “Go lay on the blanket” Jun said.  You listened and Jinbae laid on your left and then Jun laid on your right.  “I want to be near Jun too” Jinbae said laying on both of your bodies.  You didn’t notice there was no space for him to lay in between but Jinbae didn’t seem to care. 

It was quiet for a while.  Looking at the stars were peaceful.  “Mommy can Jun be my new daddy” Jinbae so oh so loud.  Jun laughed “Honey, it doesn’t happen that easily” you said trying to hide your embarrassment.  “Well do you love Jun?” Jinbae asked.  And suddenly Jun got quiet.  You were laying on his arm and he managed to nudge you to answer because you were so embarrassed.  “Yes, I love Jun” you said.  “Jun, do you love my mommy?” Jinbae asked.  you were just thinking about the way he’d reject so he wouldn’t hurt Jinbae’s feelings.  “I super duper love your mommy” Jun said as he pulled all of us into a hug.  All Jinbae could do was laugh.  “Well then can he be my daddy now mommy?” Jinbae asked “Honey I can’t make that happen.  I’m sorry” you said as Jinbae started to frown.

“I can make that happen..

“Oh my gosh what happened..I hope she’s okay”

That’s all Jun was thinking as he was running to y/n’s apartment.  What could have happened to make her do something so drastic that he would have to go? Why would Surim tell him to go. She hates Jun. He keeps looking down at an app on his phone going to the address Surim told him to go to. He’s running, he can’t be too late.

Jun bangs on the door as loud as he can. She doesn’t answer. He desperately goes into his wallet and finds a credit card and unlocks the door.  Her apartment was average as it didn’t take long to find her as her sobs filled the apartment.  Jun walks into her bedroom and sees her on the bed.  With 3 bottles of pills on her nightstand and all of them mixed up in her hand with vodka to get it down.

“STOP!” Jun yelled. All y/n could see was a tall, fair-skinned man that ran inside and knocked the pills in the floor.

“Why would you do something like that??” Jun said as he cuddled you into his chest.

“Because I was done”

“Why were you done?”

“Why would you choose to do something like this?”

“I lost-”

“Tell me..I’m here”

“I can’t tell you”

“Well I won’t leave until you do” he said calmly

You cried into his chest from all of these emotions going through your head.  Jun didn’t force you to tell him anything right away but you knew sooner or later you’d have to.  Every few minutes, he lifted your head up to make sure you’re awake and eventually he stopped and you fell asleep in his embrace.

You woke up still in Jun’s embrace tightly.  He was awake but you could tell he’d been sleeping too.  

“Are you ready to talk now?” He asked rubbing circles on your arm. 

“I don’t know how..i’m scared” you said wishing you were still asleep.  He could feel your heart race and you filled with anxiety.

“You don’t have to be afraid around me.  I’ve seen you very vulnerable and I didn’t hurt you.  I won’t hurt you now”  He told you as he gave you a hug.  The way his chin landed on the top of your head as he hugged you made you calm.  “Okay”

“So let me start from the beginning.  When I first met you I had no attraction towards you whatsoever.  I hated you a little bit to be honest because you seemed obnoxious.  But as you helped me study I fell harder but I never even realized it.  Surim would always tell me I’d fall in love with you but I didn’t believe it and I stopped recognizing my feelings if that makes sense.  I remember when you told me about Wonwoo.  I was scared.  I only had Surim and Jinbae and at the time it seemed like you too.  I was afraid of losing you.  Wonwoo is the father of my child biologically but he never helps me with him.  Only Surim.  My parents and family began to hate me because I was pregnant and I told them I didn’t know who the father was even though I did because I’d only ever slept with Wonwoo but he had a great reputation and he didn’t want it to be messed up.  He completely changed after I got pregnant.  I still got into college and I take care of Jinbae along with Surim all the time.  She has night classes so she keeps him during the day.  And when you left the last time we studied together I had a hunch that Wonwoo told you about Jinbae because he always ruins my friendships with anyone I get close with. Then we stopped talking..I told Surim to take Jinbae since she is his godmother. I guess she texted you for some reason which I don’t know”

You put your head into Jun’s chest wondering what would happen.  You opened yourself up. You basically confessed.  “So you did it because you thought you lost me?” Jun asked.

“Yes” you said quietly

“I’ll always be here.  I’ll never leave you”  He said.  He Then he kissed your temple.  You started thinking if he liked you too?  

Or was it to comfort since he knew you liked him?
