2012 Marqués de Griñon “Caliza” Syrah - Petit Verdot
So this here is the first ever DOC given to a single estate in Spain by the EU. A bit warm from the alcohol, but a nice tipple for a Thirsty Thursday. Cherries, mulch, cinnamon, blackberries, and cassis on the nose. Blackberries, dark cherries, cassis, and sweet balsamic on the palate.
