Behind the scenes of the final days filming Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale
I had to do another post because it is one of my favourite scenes with the two of em.
Her not only consoling him but standing up for him against Jimmy and Carson. Watching it the first time 13 ish years ago I really hoped it would make Thomas aware that people try to help him and make him understand they want to be in his life and vice versa. Bates even going so far to call on O’Brian and threaten her with one of the worst things she’s done yet so far so she drops the act against Thomas.
And all the more so I hate that they have little to none interaction in the new DA movie. 😭
