Just had my ultrasound on my foot and if confirms my planter fascia is really thickened an swollen. This is actually good news because had it not been planter fasciitis (this has a treatment option) my orthopaedic surgeon had warned me I may just have to live with the pain, and put it down to the Ehlers Danlos... it’s been 6 months already so some improvement would be good! I have a lot of problems with my feet because of EDS and PoTS but my right foot has way more issues than my left. I got to see it on the screen it was super clear! I didn’t take a picture of the screen but it looks kinda like the image on the right. You won’t find this method in any kinesiology taping textbooks but it works! As ever I’m using @rocktape as my tape of choice and this time it’s in pink camo! My planter fasciitis is terrible today and for me this means heel pain so instead of having a strip over the middle of my foot I find having it over the heel and going up the sides of the ankle more supportive.
