I know it's still a long time until Christmas, but since our supermarkets have had their Christmas sweets on the shelves since August, I've been craving them. So, by making some miniature Spekulatius/Speculaas/Speculoos, I had an excuse to buy a packet. I needed them for this photo, you know! They were essential!
I sculpted the cookies in Nomad Sculpt and then printed them on a 3D printer. Then came some brown color and gel medium to add a bit rough texture.
Smaller scales like 1:16, 1:18 and maybe even 1:24 could be possible but I would have to make them quite thick (in regards to the actual scale) to make them work. And I'm not sure yet if the details would still be visible...
