i feel like no one talks about the possible plot lines that were set up but never fully followed through due to the owl house being cancelled so soon. i mainly see this through the scene in king’s tide when luz is facing off with belos alone. she agrees to be his ‘modern day guide’ to the human realm, in exchange for her friend’s lives. i noticed this when these episodes first came out and it’s always bothered me.
i know the fact that this didn’t go anywhere may have been because they thought they’d seemingly defeated belos within the next few scenes, but imagine how differently the story could have gone. belos could have easily dangled the lives of them above luz’s head so that she would have to sit back and either watch belos win or help him in doing so. maybe even becoming his new ‘golden guard’ of sorts. maybe the writers could have incorporated new various binding spells or something.
Why the current arc is very exhausting compared to the other arcs ?
No proper resolution
Probably because there's been hardly any resolving or falling action since the green witch arc ended. Some but not much. The current arc is also full of mini-arcs, which help to keep this weird momentum going. And it's just been going on for so many years. No other arc even comes close; it's the only one with these mini-arcs (the assignments).
Hard to feel much relief when most chapters end on cliffhangers, even cliffhangers in the middle of flashbacks.
I miss the genre that was like ‘Main characters car breaks down/get lost in the woods and arrive at a castle, are welcomed by person dressed like its the 1800s/in a goth’s dream outfit who gives them rooms to stay in, weird stuff goes down during the night.”
Charlie Booker was asked about the uncanny resemblance of plotlines in the Black Museum episode to some of Karl Pilkington's previously discussed ideas for a film a decade or so prior on the Ricky Gervais Show/Podcast - and he simply chalked it up to a bizarre coincidence that they were as similar as they were to Karl's ideas ("The Ramblings of a Madman"as Ricky Gervais would have it).
I want a movie or a book with the characters being
Not really chosen but was just standing at the wrong place hero
Super evil dead villain that would be resurrected at the end of the story
Some minion who's secretly the lover of dead villain also the one who resurrect the villain
The actual chosen hero that has been reduced to the hero's best friend role
The old wizard that has made the mistake on who the hero is because of bad eyesight and has been quietly trying to fix the mistake the entirety of the story
The story would be
Minion would get needed items for resurrecting the villain
not-hero and actual-hero tries to stop them and fails very humorously like they get wrapped up in side quests because they accidentally broke the shed of a farmer
Minion does not notice the fact that someone is trying to stop them
Wizard continues to try fix the wrong placement and fails miserably
Minion sucessly resurrect their lover and immediately kills them and then they resurrect them again and then kills then again and again and again they do this until the not and actual heroes arrive
The not hero and the actual hero arrived just to see the villain being revived they charged and try to kill the villain the minion was already stabbing the villain again this time at the crotch
The villain meanwhile is having the worst time in his afterlife(?)
In between the stabbings the villain keeps shouting apologies the minion meanwhile is shouting that his fulfilling his promise on killing them and then resurrecting them and then killing them again if he as so much think of world domination
Minion apparently is not villain's aid but was wrongfully accused as such because on how they were there every time the villain monologues about their evil plans minion was just trying to stop they're evil lover
Wizard meanwhile is hiding somewhere because he made a mistake twice not actual hero was also just at the wrong place as wellminion was the actual actual hero, minion was there at some corner of the wizards tower searching for ways to resurrect the dead
The slashes (/) represent different or similar versions of a prompt, but are separate prompts - so if you want to request one, you may have to send in the exact prompt if that number contains multiple. However, if there are multiple quotes that are not separated by a slash, then they go together for one prompt!
The bolded are just some of my favorites!
